Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies fic ideas

Olivia returning home after the Fair and has to face her parents. They talk about why she dated him the first place, how they reacted to finding out about their relationship and so on. 

Richie returning from military school after being re-enrolled at Rydell, but still harboring some hurt feelings towards his parents for sending him away, and being mad they let her marry Mr. Daniels.

The Pink Ladies finding out about Cynthia and Lydia, and Olivia worrying about Cynthia getting caught, due to her experience with dating Mr. Daniels. (bonus point if cynthia says she has been worrying about what will happen if anyone finds out every day since she kissed Lydia for the first time).

Hazel, Cynthia, Shy guy and nancy getting into sheningans together in drama club. Perhaps getting revenge on someone, or trying to get Shy guy together with a girl. 

School throwing a mother-daughter brunch, and the T-birds try to keep Cynthia company, because the pink ladies are being forced by their mothers to attend

Cynthia and the t-birds cheering Shy guy up because his dad is still giving him a hard time about quitting boxing. 

Sandy learning from Frenchie and Betty about how the Pink Ladies were founded. Maybe even meets some of them and/or the OG T-Birds.

A list of underrated and underused httyd duos:

Platonic Astrid & Eret - i feel like these two would be pretty good friends and Eret would probably have a special bond with Stormfly do that would bring them closer together. Also I may or may not enjoy the hiccup jealous of eret fics 🤭 I am by no means a THW hater but the fact we didn't get any of this duo was disappointing.

Platonic Astrid & Snotlout - Snotlout's Angels is one of my fave filler episodes of RTTE because it's cool to see them look at Snotlout's attitude to women, Astrid especially, and it was just overall hilarious. But I so wish we got more bonding between them. There is loads of Astrid and Snotlout moments in the show but it's mostly banter or comedy. I would've loved to see a bit with them turning to each other for comfort or something (the lack of this is probably why I'm writing a fanfic for it 🙃)

Hiccup & Tuffnut - the duo I didn't know I wanted until THW. There are loads of twins+Hiccup moments but I don't think there's many of just them (or maybe I've forgotten 🤷‍♀️). Just havin Tuffnut bring Hiccup's therapist and advisor whilst Hiccup rolls his eyes for the 100849th time. That's all, thank you.

Astrid & Valka - another one I hoped to have seen in THW. To be fair, there was a scene between them cut from the movie so at least they were planning on it. But I feel like they could've kept it in instead of the prolonged "Ruffnut thinks she's hot" bit. The haddock wives bonding over the haddock men. I know it fails the Bechdel test but eh. Although, I suppose they did get a scene together in the comics. Would've liked a nice personal convo between them tho.

Astrid & Ruffnut - I'm 99% sure there are no scenes of them together alone. They're the only two girls in the gang, I would've loved to seen some girl talk between them or just them slowly becoming better friends because Astrid seems closer with (obviously Hiccup) and maybe Fishlegs and Snotlout, even Tuffnut in an episode. But apart from Ruff having a go at her, there's no AstridxRuff duo. Unpopular opinion: I would've much preferred Astrid and Ruffnut together than Astrid and Heather.

Hiccup & Valka - this, again, is mostly directed towards THW. Hiccup and Valka have plenty of scenes and moments together but I wanted something in the aftermath of HTTYD 2. A lil angst even, if they could fit it in. Hiccup's mom came back after 20 years of absence, surely it's not as easy as just pretending it never happened and acting all normal. I feel like maybe this would've been better as a bit in the comics rather than the movie. Even just them grieving Stoick together. They didn't talk much in the third and I think that was a missed opportunity.

Astrid & Stoick - theres definitely moments for these characters, it's not non-existent. But I'm greedy, I would've wanted more. There's loads of fanart of Stoick being the biggest hiccstrid shipper, how cool would it have been to see that come to life a bit more.

This isn't a duo per say but just overall Dragon Swapping in general is something that would've been really cool to see. Like, Snotlout riding Stormfly? Astrid on Hookfang? Tuffnut on Toothless? These would've made for some pretty funny moments.

Some Soft Yasammy Headcanons

These girls love to cuddle. Couch cuddles? Amazing. Rainy day cuddles? They love it. Drifting-off-to-sleep-in-each-other's-arms cuddles? Yes please. Sleepy morning cuddles? Sign. Them. Up.

They both switch over who's the big spoon and who's the little spoon, but more often than not Sammy is the big spoon. Mostly because Sammy loves to hold Yaz and Yaz loves to be held.

If Yaz is within arm's reach (aka "Hugging Range") Sammy will swoop her up in a hug. There is no escape.

Sammy secretly loves that she's taller than Yaz. It gives her more of an excuse to shower her girlfriend's forehead with kisses.

Yaz is a notorious hoodie thief. If any of Sammy's hoodies or sweaters are left unattended they will end up in Yaz's possession. She likes how soft they are and how it feels like Sammy is giving her a warm hug even when they're apart.

They still use their secret language that they made on Mantah Corp Island. Sammy likes to send Yaz texts throughout the day with two claps 👏👏 (and tons of hearts) and Yaz likes to end every call with two snaps.

The girls send care packages to each other the first week of every month. Yaz likes to include drawings that she makes during class and Sammy makes it her personal mission to include as many orange-colored items that she can get her hands on.

They FaceTime each other while opening their respective care packages and it's one of their favorite couple activities.

Sammy: "Aww! You drew Angel, Rebel, and Firecracker! Sweetheart, this is amazing. Thank you!"

Yaz: "Let's see... it looks like my lovely girlfriend has sent me all my favorite things in my favorite color: orange, orange, and orange."

They are both each other's person and they know that no matter what they're safe and at home in each other's arms.

i think morro and nya should be friends because nya is a character who's had labels thrust upon her repeatedly throughout her life, and morro is a character who would kill to have a label to live by. morro needs stability in his identity, and nya needs freedom in hers. guys the differences are too perfect they can teach each other to forge their own identities and explore their own selves..... THEY CAN HELP EACHOTHER DEAL WITH THEIR ISSUES WITH EXPECTATIONS VIA RESPONSIBILTY......im so normal

We deserve a rotpl beach episode actually so here are some headcanons:

Jane has a hot pink one piece that Nancy sewed the Pink Ladies logo

Olivia wears one of those fancy little transparent robe things and it’s pink (obviously)

Nancy made her own swimsuit

Cynthia wears swim trunks she stole from Gil (that are from when he was 13) and a swim top with the Pink Ladies logo on it that Nancy made for her

Hazels swimsuit has constellations on it

They have a Pink Ladies vs. T-Birds volleyball battle and Nancy is surprisingly good at it

Richie falls asleep so Olivia and Cynthia bury him in sand

Potato pours water on Nancys head (only after he makes sure she won’t kill him for messing up her hair)

Hazel invites Wally

Jane invites Buddy and he spends half the day trying not to get splashed by Cynthia and Olivia

Gil brought sandwiches and hot dogs

Wally shows Hazel how to surf

Jane loves volleyball even though she keeps getting hit in the face

Edward makes sand castles the whole day

Cynthia enlists Nancy and Potato’s help to dig a giant hole

Cynthia is Short so she keeps getting bodied by waves

Hazel and Olivia both brought books so whenever they get tired of swimming they just sit together and read

Buddy can hold his breath for a long time so sometimes he’ll just disappear for about 4 or 5 minutes before resurfacing with like a shell or something

Wally makes Cynthia jealous because she wants to know how to surf so bad but would rather die than ask him to teach her

When the Pinks showed up Richie and Gil were just staring at Jane and Olivia absolutely starstruck

Richie insists he can surf

He can not

Gil loves competing when it comes to water stuff (who can hold their breath longer, who can swim faster)

So does Buddy so the two of them just end up betting each other over and over again

Cynthia and Edward play chicken against Richie and Gil

We believe this is Darius’ brother right?.

But I just realised he’s probably gone to Isla Nublar.

He doesn’t know that the kids got off the island or even that there are more Dino islands so he is probably going to be in Isla Nublar ‘alone’
