Damian | Timothy | Jason | Dick
• Early Life:
Timothy Drake was left alone for most of his childhood, locked away in his parents' manor he learned how to pick locks and hack security systems to sneak out. He grew up with tales of Batman and his shadow, and when he was nine he began to research who they might be. Honestly it wasn't too hard to connect Batman and the Shadow to Bruce and Damian Wayne. What was hard though, was talking himself out of trouble when they caught him sneaking into the Cave.
When Damian cut ties with Bruce, eleven year old Tim stepped up. Tim fulfilling his life long dream of becoming a hero, and Bruce being given a second chance at being a father with a boy who chose him.
• First Outing:
While you could consider young Timothy breaking into the Cave as his first outing, the first time he appeared as his superhero alter was months after being taken in by Bruce. Batman was adamant that Tim did not have enough training in comparison to his first sidekick (and the other bats) to appear in the field. But when Batman was captured by Scarecrow, and Tim fought through his own fear to save him, Bruce decided it was time.
• The Name:
Tim spent his early days meticulously crafting his superhero name.
Nuthatch? No, that would be shortened to Nut.
Batboy? Juvenile.
Boybat? Worse.
Myotis? Sounds too much like mitosis.
Red Bat? Filing away for later.
Aves? Yeah Aves, short and snappy.
Tim often credits himself with the addition of red to the family color chart.
• Home Life:
Tim's home life was much less rocky than Damian's, Bruce put in more of an effort to help the boy who chose him. Actually taking an interest in his education for example, and pushing him to take an interest in Wayne Enterprises.
Damian and Tim don't have a personal relationship at all until they establish a working relationship. Their interactions outside of work are akin to that cousin you only see at family gatherings who you don't dislike but you never speak to.
• Independence:
When Tim was 15 he was benched. The moniker of Aves ripped away from him, due to his time as Joker Jr. His injuries sustained then, both physical and mental, made him unfit for duty.
After an event referred to as the "Incident," Tim returned to the life of vigilantism to support Batman as Red Bat, and briefly as Drake.
Thrawn: *does something unorthodox*
Samakro: *bristles*

Thrawn: *does something unorthodox*
Eli: *bristles*
Thrawn: Ah, memories!
No one asked for this, but...
Deep and guttural, it comes from the back of his throat and works it's way up. His entire chest rumbles, and his body tenses, his teeth bared at the one who angered him or challenged. Before stalking forward.
Like a cat or a snake, wide mouthed and incisors flashing. His torso leans forward, while his feet stay planted. He'll smile after, and his quary gains the faint sense that if he had the chance, he would go for the neck.
Breaking down the walls Crosshair has built and melting his heart would be such a slow burn. You'd first just have to learn to enjoy each other's silence - comfortable silence. Not awkward at all, just existing with each other. He's not a talkative guy, and doesn't like being pressured into conversation. But flashing him a little smile across the room will do more than words ever could.
Then you start doing quiet little things for each other. He's out of toothpicks? A new box mysteriously appears. You're sick today? He's convinced his brothers to be as quiet as possible to let you sleep. Hate taking out the trash? It's already been done, even though it's your turn to do it. He's noticeably tired today? you've made a new pot of caf, what a coincidence!
Then it's little touches - a brush of your fingers against his as he hands you tools for repairs. A light tap on his arm to wake him from a nap. Your knees touch as you sit next to each other around a bonfire. Crosshair isn't a touchy-feely guy, but subtle, gentle physical contact makes him feel warm and tingly. The first time you are hurt during a mission, he wordlessly bandages your hand for you. Glancing up every so often to make sure he's being gentle enough. Once he finishes up, he holds onto your hand a little longer than necessary.
When you wake up shaking and sobbing from a nightmare, he hears you. He makes his way over to your bunk and has one word for you: "Scoot." He's warm, and you feel safe again. His brothers find the two of you cuddled up together in the morning, but they don't say anything - they just share some knowing grins. They always knew you and Crosshair were a perfect match.
Your first kiss is barely even a big deal because it was so natural. You're both so obviously comfortable with each other that everyone kind of thought you were already dating. He kisses your temple when saying goodnight, you kiss his cheek when he brings you caf. Your lips would find each other's eventually, and after that, very frequently.
Crosshair wouldn't ask you to be his official partner - it's just a given. If anyone asks, you're "together." He's still got a fear of being abandoned, and doesn't want to put a label on it. In his mind, it'll hurt less if he ruins something that doesn't exist. But one day, after years of sweet silence, gentle touches, softly kissing, and making love, you overhear him refer to you as his wife. And you know that his heart is yours forever.
Crosshair and Tech Twins Headcanon
They're both farsighted. Though Tech uses his goggles for his detail work, and Crosshair uses it to his advantage as a sharpshooter.
Before they earned their names Crosshair was 04 (oh-four) to Tech and Tech was Threesie.
Crosshair and Tech are both equally adept at split second calculations and memorizations. Tech uses them for his flying and Crosshair uses it for trick shots.
Tech is almost as good a shot as Crosshair. Crosshair trained him.
Crosshair can memorize anything if he puts his mind to it, he just doesn't have the patience usually.
When Crosshair chose the Empire, it took Tech weeks for him to speak more than absolutely necessary.
He's more cynical than he was before.
Wrecker and Hunter swore left and right that the two of them had some sort of telepathic link. Tech never believed in it, Crosshair did when Tech was the only one who understood him.
They're the exact same height.
They felt a connection even worlds apart.
I have a vision,
And it will probably never be realized.
Taking from Legends, Nuruodo is a family name. In this case it defines what we as humans think of, instead of a political family. A surname.
There is a planet near the Ascendancy, so close some would mistake it for being a part of it. Our world, Earth. During this time, it "discovered" by the Chiss and recognized as a colony.
Humans are as we know them, no remarkable traits, but with key differences from the Star Wars humans. They're thought to be cousins genetically.
The humans begin to integrate into Chiss society, though many are unhappy about it. The story focuses around the humans fight to be recognized as equals by the chiss. And their victory.
It also examines the joys and hardships of a interspecies marriage between a chiss and a human. And their eventual success.
I have one scene playing on repeat in my head:
It has been decades since humans first began the fight for equality, and progress has been made. The MC and her husband stand on a balcony in the Aristocra's Hall, with their three children behind them. All clothed in burgundy red.
An usher announces every being who enters the room. They are there to witness the induction of new merit adoptives into the Family. His loud and clear voice reads over their names on the list.
"Presenting, of the house Nuruodo, honored by the Great Family of Stybla,
"Raw'nuruodo, Grand Admiral of the Empire, Agent of the Acendancy.
"(Y/N) Nuru, Syndic of the Ruling Family of Mitth.
"Their sons, Mitth'icra'nuru, cousin of the Family, Junior Commander of the Chiss Expansionary Defence Fleet. And Mitth'ras'nuru, cousin of the Family.
"Their daughter, Mitth'aia'nuru, cousin of the Family, Lieutenant of the Chiss Expansionary Defence Fleet."
*Thrawn was sent to the Empire for 8 years, he was rewelcomed into the Acendancy as an Agent and retained his rank of Grand Admiral, it is a complicated ordeal. His wife, is Syndic Prime of the Mitth, and combined chiss and human tradition for her name. Thicran is their eldest son, and an officer of the CEDF. His sister Thaian, is three years younger and followed his footsteps to become an officer. Their youngest brother Thrasn, was named after their uncle, he was born ten years after his sister and is not of age at the events of the scene.
*my first time writing, but I love this blue man too much for my own good lol! Please don’t be afraid to steal my ideas, I just want to see more thrawn! This was done over my phone notes so I didn’t get a chance to remove it!
-His most prized art peace, the only art price dedicated to him, and him only. His wife.
- Would do everything in his power to retrieve you.
- He could care less how many life’s he’ll have to take to get you back to him.
- Would personally take the mission himself.
- His star destroyer, the citihaunting , and it’s entire crew, would loom over the the planets main city
- You were his prized possession, his favourite piece of art work. No one dear steal that from him.
- Governor Pryce would be blamed for you’re kidnapping, as he put her in charge of you’re safety when he was commanding his ship.
- He’d go retrieve you personally himself.
- Considers his men incompetent, especially his generals.
- Rains hell fire near the base you are kept as a warning.
- You were surrendered quickly at that point.
- You never had to worry he’d always come back for you.
- His most prized possession.
- Quickly destroys the base immediately after he safely has you back on board.
- Wants to scold you for getting yourself into that situation.
- But ends up just wrapping his arms around you from behind.
- You feel him leave a trail of kisses upon you’re neck
- You lean into his touch.
- You watched from the windows in Thrawns chambers, you see nothing but death and destruction.
-The base is completely desecrated, nothing could possibly survive the destruction.
- You’re heart aches for the people that lost their life’s because of you’re recklessness’s, and you’re husbands anger.
- You hear is smooth voice whispering into you’re ear
- “There is no one or thing in this galaxy that will bring harm to you, I’d personally destroy the galaxy, down to its very planet, if it meant keeping you from harm.”
- He holds you’re jaw so he can tilt you’re lips towards him
- You feel him tighten his opposite hand on you’re waste.
- The kiss doesn’t last long as he was still an Grand Admiral, and he had a full fleet to attend too.
- His position as Admiral meant he could keep you safe. So he took hos role very seriously.
- He gave you one last kiss on you’re forehead before leaving.
-He paused for a moment as exited his personal quarters, his back turned to you.
- “Try to stay out of troubles this time.” Thrawn sternly advised, yet had a small smile grow as he left for his post
- You both get a thrill from him rescuing you.
- And you both know he gets off to the idea of keeping you safe.
- He thrives off the idea of him being you’re protector.
- His love for you would burn the galaxy down just for you.
- But never would he admit that, he had to much pride.
love how movies Kit Fisto was this funky alien-looking guy.
and then the animators said what if we made him into a sex icon
This wonderful, cultured, courteous man?
The one and only Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Well, if they make him evil in Ahsoka, I will probably have a screaming fit and then break the TV. Seriously. He can be an antagonist, I don't care about that, but we saw in his new trilogies and even some Legends material that Thrawn actually has a softer side. And it's pretty prominent.
Who else thinks that they'll focus on the Grysk War instead?
Also, we NEED live-action Ar'alani.
I have spoken
Eli: Basic is a difficult language. It can be understood through tough thorough thought, though.
Thrawn: Please stop
Imagine Thrawn being cast into the Unknown Regions with Ezra
Imagine Thrawn being found and rescued by the Chiss
Imagine Thrawn being taken back to the Acendancy and his home
Don't imagine Thrawn being taken in front of the Syndicure
Don't imagine them debating whether he should be accepted back into their society or returned to exile
Don't imagine Ba'kif and Ar'alani standing to the side knowing there is nothing they can do
Don't imagine the Syndicure nearly ruling against him
Don't imagine Thrawn standing up and speaking for the first time against them
Don't imagine him shouting at them that he has given his life for the Acendancy
Don't imagine him telling them that though he was ruled by the Empire his actions were for the benefit of the Chiss
Don't imagine Mitth'raw'nuruodo losing his composure
Don't imagine him screaming at his Patriarch
Don't imagine him calling himself a servant of the Chiss
Don't imagine him saying "I only want to come home"
Don't imagine the Syndicure stripping him of his titles
Don't imagine them turning him over to the Mitth
Instead imagine him returning home to his family and being granted a place in the Expansionary Defence Force
