But the pain didn’t stop there. Just yesterday, we lost my children's grandfather 💔, not due to direct war, but because of malnutrition and the lack of basic life necessities. We couldn’t save him, just as we couldn’t save our home or our dreams.

The rest of my family is still trapped in the war, suffering the same harsh conditions that led to the passing of my children's grandfather. We are here trying to build a new life, but we have lost everything. We lost our home, and my children were deprived of their schools and universities. Even my eldest son, who worked so hard to build his future, lost his job and saw his dreams shattered.😔

Save my family's lives they lost their home ,dreams and everything in Gaza.

We have been through many wars before, but this war was not like the previous ones. Our lives were turned upside down. We became displaced from one place to another. We are the Ahmed family, residents of northern Gaza, specifically in the Shujaiya area. In the first week of the war, we fled our home because everyone considered our home to be in a dangerous area. We moved to the Tal al-Hawa area, specifically in the middle of Gaza. There we received the news that our home, which contained all our beautiful memories, had been bombed. Suddenly, everything disappeared!!! Just thinking that your home, which you worked hard to build stone by stone and took up so much of your life, disappeared in seconds due to American bombs.

On Thursday, October 13, 2023, at six in the evening, while we were preparing dinner, the Zionist treacherous planes bombed the entire fourth floor of the tower where we lived on the sixth floor. We had to leave within 10 seconds before the entire tower was bombed over our heads. We left and took nothing with us except the clothes we were wearing. We didn't even have time to put on our shoes.

That night we went and slept inside an UNRWA school and it was one of the worst nights we have ever lived and we almost died of fear as the Tel al-Hawa area was a very dangerous combat zone according to the classification of the Nazi occupation army. On the morning of Friday, October 14, 2023, we left Gaza, our memories and everything we owned and fled with our lives to Deir al-Balah to live in a 24-square-meter tent after we had been living in a 180-square-meter house.

We are asking you with all shame to support and stand by us in these difficult circumstances that everyone knows because we lost our home, our work and any stable source of income. Thank you all.
