6. 45 minutes later. Light leans back against a couch with bloodshot eyes while gesturing, and says, "So I— uh, I write his name down, and he DIES! Haha, like whaaat? Like, I did NOT think that'd actually work. Hahahaha." L is crouched in a chair and fidgeting, staring upwards blankly while imagining a piece of cake.
7. The next day. L clenches his fists in front of himself with an irritated expression, thinking, "WTF DID HE SAY?" The panel splits to show Light sitting at a table, hands fisted in his hair with an enraged expression, thinking, "WTF DID I SAY?"
