Alastor redesign!

Ive been seeing do many of these so i made alastor.

As much as i love him, his design is kinda simple for an overlord in my opinion but thats fine, basically wat Ive changed is the outfit, having him wear a dark grey shirt, with a red over coat thing. There are so MANY bows in the show so instead of a bow, he now has a skull themed tie. I thought itd be cool if hed trap all the souls he owns in his coat because it looks cool but also because its alastor of course hed show off all the souls he owns. I also made his antlers more prominent and have that patch deers have on their faces in his design just to make it extra clear he was a dear. Since vizie said he was meant to be black/ have black in his heritage, i tried to to make that clear in this design, since its not really noticeable in his actual design (this is my first time actually trying to make a black character so forgive me if its not that amazing im still learning, im open to constructive criticism) and apparently hes also supposed to practice voodoo so ive given him stitches something ive seen to be a common thing, i put them on his mouth and shirt (but correct me if im wrong, like i said im open to constructive criticism) also i made his cane extendable so it could be used as a desk mic or one of those long mics or just as a cane. I also gave him a moustache.

Sooo yea this is my redesign, fun to draw. im planning to update it soon since im not super happy with it but its a start, so if i dont forget ill post an updated version

Froot loops being all the same flavour is stupid, they should have different flavours so when I eat them I can pick out individual colours and taste test them one by one then forget the flavour so I have to do it again.

ok so the animatic is like set after season 2, where Crowley is in this non-Euclidean maze trying to get to the end where Aziraphale is. whenever Crowley gets close to the end and walks towards Aziraphale. Crowley, like (I don't have a clear way of explaining it) but I guess he noclips and ends up somewhere completely random in the maze, and during the song Azi is singing the female lines. (and maybe at the part where it goes "let the maze of my design carry you on" Aziraphale is hold a box with a mini version of the maze that Crowley's stuck in)

near the end Crowley finds his way back to the end and his first few steps to get to Azi is fine, Crowley doesn't noclip or anything like that and he's gets his hopes up, that he starts running to Aziraphale but as soon as he reaches out to Aziraphale. Crowley trips and noclips right back at the start this time.

Was reading through my notes when i stumbled apon this lil gem of me explaining to my imaginary audience on why and how i use colour in my characters

Colours:

Elysian has two main colours in her colour palette to help show her personality visually. One colour that shows how she presents herself and the other to show her inner personality, if that makes sense. These colours are pink and orange. The orange isn’t really prominent in her human form but i’ll get into that later. Let’s talk about pink. The first colour you see on Elysian’s character is pink, pink on her clothes, bag, shoes, gloves. Pink normally gives people the feeling of femininity, love and care. Now this is good because thats what Elysian is like, loving and caring and can be seen to be quite feminine, maybe not in the standard, traditional way, but elysian is girly, she likes wearing makeup, dressing up and having a good time. So pink naturally suits her and is her outer colour, the way she wants to be perceived. But then theres orange. Orange isn’t seen as much as pink in her human form, mainly only in hers eyes, but that was on purpose (totally). It shows the more unseen and kept emotions that Elysian doesn’t show immediately. Like they say “the eyes are the door to the soul.” Elysian cant fully hide those emotions so they’re shown in her eyes. Orange is interpreted as an optimistic and confident colour. Why Elysian choses to hide that part of her? I don’t know, she just does, i’ll do more some more in-depth thinking when i want to. But where orange is seen more on Elysian is when she’s in her goddess form. Orange surrounds her. Her eyes, the tattoos under elysian’s gloves and clothes and the eye pin in her hair and the eye embroidered in her shirt glow orange in that from. Basically revealing the confidence and optimism she hides deep down in her human form. Orange is more about her inner personality.

Can’t believe i stopped doing this it makes sense to me!!

(I mean yea its just primary and secondary colour but still!!)
