OK OK OK so gregstophe is definitely one of my favorite sp ships, i just love the characters and my version of their dynamic and UGH its just too good

I had a bunch of random thoughts abt them and i’m putting them under the cut bc its a lot

- ok so i would first like to talk about how little trust gregory has in others. he always thinks that he’s the best and that he’s better than everyone. usually he steps up to volunteer himself as a leader for a cause that he believes in. even though stan stepped up to be the leader of la resistance, gregory quickly replaced him. when stan was like “i wanna save terrence and phillip” gregory told him that he was likely to fail, and should send someone more experienced (gregory) to save them. when stan supposedly failed, gregory was all “i shouldnt have sent a boy to do a man’s job 😩” so its pretty obvious that gregory usually doesn’t trust people with important jobs. but the FACT THAT GREGORY WAS SO QUICK TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE MOLE????? they must have gone through some shit together to make gregory trust him that much. there was no hesitation. he was just like “fine you can go but you gotta take the mole with you” listen the only person gregory seems to trust as much as himself is the mole and i just think its neat

- PLUS in that cut scene? to my recollection as soon as gregory like- mentions the mole, christophe kinda just pops up next to him. this isn't important i just think it’s cute.

- i just think their trust in each other is adorable ok,, listen. christophe hates god or something. he’s pissed at his mom. he doesn’t like a lot of people. BUT HE’S STILL FRIENDS WITH GREGORY!!!!! AND GREGORY STILL TRUSTS THE MOLE DESPITE HIS SUPERIORITY COMPLEX!!!

ok now i’m gonna dump a bunch of headcanons here bc yeah

- i was thinking about how gregory must have reacted to the mole dying- like when he found out. he goes back to his dead body and is all :’( because his most trusted is dead. when kenny’s wish is granted, gregory doesn’t realize that it means the mole is now alive. he’s still sad, and after the war is over he goes back to where the mole died to get his body. but!! the body is gone and gregorys like ????? bc he already saw his body he’s dead he has to be dead and then christophe kinda taps his shoulder and is like “sup?” and gregory just cries out of pure happiness that his best friend isnt dead and hugs him and calls him an idiot for dying and christophe just kinda laughs and hugs him back and is glad that someone actually cares about him. and so they both kinda just stand there hugging and crying because fuck, they’re both alive they both survived this. it was a close call but they fucking did it.

- ok now that i got all THAT out of my system i just wanna say that they both probably trust each others opinions over their own at this point

- they still do missions together and work undercover together because its something theyre both really good at and love doing together

- “with all due respect mole, i do believe that this route is the better and faster option.” “yeah well with all due respect, if we dug under the base we have a higher chance of survival” “very well but with all due respect, i do believe that this route could get us in and out faster” “okay sure but with all due respect-”

- “greg” “chris” “you punk ass bi-”

- at some point they get into an argument and are still told to work together, but this time its a pretty bad argument. they both decide that they dont need each other at all, and that they each do better alone. during the mission together, they each slowly realize that they really do need each other, and would be dead without the other. they apologize to each other at the end of the mission.

- they confess to each other about their feelings for the other right before a really really serious and important mission, it’s the first time that they wont be together during the mission in a long time and the last time it happened 🥴 dumbass mole had to go die. this was said to be a really important and deadly mission with a low chance of survival. knowing this may be the last time they see each other, gregory tells christophe how he truly feels and christophe says he feels the same way. they hug for what they hope is not the last time, and go their separate ways. once they both get back, very alive and well, they hug n’ stuff and are super happy that they didn’t fail the mission and that they feel the same way towards each other.

- they trust each other with their lives, basically. idk how else to say it

So in the Discord, we came up with a Danganronpa AU for Punch-Out. I tasked myself with writing the executions. Some were just described, the ones I wrote went into detail. Executions with an asterisk (*) are ones that were originally just described.

First execution: Von Kaiser*

Victim: Soda Popinski

Original description: Like, he gets thrown into a battlefield, and a shit ton of bullets are fired at him, and, the finishing blow, poisonous gas-

Here we go: Kaiser is on a battlefield when the execution begins. Several things begin to happen at once. One part of Kaiser's brain is panicking, another part is telling him to kick it into high gear, another part is only now noticing the rifle in his hands, and a firing squad is coming for his ass. Kaiser holds his own against them for a surprisingly long time, even surprising himself. What he failed to notice was that one of the soldiers I'm the firing squad had a gas mask and a container of sorts. Kaiser only ceased gunfire when he began coughing. Poisonous gas. The rest of the firing squad had retreated, or so he thought. He didn't have much time to think as he dropped dead to the ground. The firing squad returned, shooting at Kaiser's dead body.

Second Execution: Super Macho Man

Victim: Glass Joe

Here we go: Macho Man is placed on a red carpet and has to reach an award to even have a chance at survival. Thing is, the distance between Macho Man and the award is over 10,000 feet. Not only that, but there's paparazzi that causes 3rd degree burns if it flashes onto Macho Man's skin.

Undeterred, he, quite literally, starts running for his life. Unknown to him and the others, the red carpet could become red lava at any moment.

Somewhere around the 500 feet mark, SMM is visibly exhausted and burned all over.

Monokuma pulls the award, which turns out to be a secret lever, and turns the carpet into lava. Macho Man screams in agony as he melts away.

Third Execution: Disco Kid

Victims: Piston Hondo and Great Tiger.

Here we go: Disco is in a dance hall, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Monokuma clones. The goal: Be the last one standing. FAR easier said than done.

For one, there are vines with poison-tipped thorns on the ground. But he doesn't notice them.

The dance floor lights cause severe burns to the feet when touched while lit up. Disco endures the pain.

What kills him? The disco ball was just hanging by a thread. It finally fell, and Disco was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

His skull is smashed in as the others look on in horror.

Fourth Execution: Don Flamenco*

Victim: Aran Ryan

Original Descriptions: I still like the Running of the Bulls style execution- (Have you seen the book of life? Remember how that one guy takes on way too many bulls at once?)

Here we go: Don is thrown into a bullfighting ring, the audience being full of Monokuma clones. A mechanical bull enters the ring that Don defeats with relative ease.

The fight is far from over, though. Two bulls now enter the ring. Harder, but Don managed. Every time he defeated a bull, one more would be placed into the ring.

Don was suffering severe injuries when they sent out nine bulls, collapsing when ten were sent out.

Don could feel every hoofprint as he was trampled to death. The ring was empty.

No love awaited for this toreador.

Fifth Execution: King Hippo

Victim: Bald Bull

Here we go: Realistically, Hippo would have low stamina, and that's probably why he only has to be knocked down once. This would probably end up being a critical part of his demise.

Hippo is actually unconscious when the execution begins. When he wakes up, there is no indication of where he is. Just an island with some strong winds going on.

A hurricane.

Naturally, this invokes Hippo's fight-or-flight reaction.

He chooses to run.

He ends up not getting very far before the hurricane catches up to him. Only getting sucked in does he see the sharp blades in ghe hurricane.

Nobody else can see what's going on. They can only hear Hippo screaming.

The screams only stip when the hurricane does. Monokuma is seen with a smoothie, enjoying it wearing Hippo's crown.

Sixth Execution: Mr. Sandman, Mastermind.

Here we go:

The execution starts off without a hitch. Surprising to everyone, Sandman dies pretty early on. That's not the goal here though.

The goal is eternal despair.

The last three survivors look on in horror as Sandman's body is burned, drowned, beaten and tattered, you name it, that's what's happening.

The player never sees what the body goes through, either.

Just the shocked reactions of Mac, Doc, and Bear.

Repeat ad infinitum.

I also made some executions for Aran, both of which rely on psychological torture as opposed to physical torture.

Execution one: So Aran has a sister. Actually he has 3 sisters. Monokuma knows this.

Aran is stuck in a mostly featureless field. I say mostly, because there are clovers that stretch on for miles. That's not important right now.

"ARAN!!!" The screams. Brother instinct kicking in, he starts running to where the screams are coming from.

Or at least, where he thinks they're coming from.

Every time he gets close, there's a projection of one of his sisters. He never gets to find out if it's real or not because a new scream surfaces when he starts looking up.

Aran won't die instantly. He'll be stuck in the execution until he finally dies. It's a toss up on what'll kill him first. Starvation? Dehydration? Mental state dripping away? The luck of the Irish has finally run out for him.

Execution two: Aran is in a dark room, slowly lit up to reveal that he's standing on a giant clock. Looking around, the are several projections of his sisters. None of them are real, but Aran doesn't know this. Aran thinks that 3 of them are real and he has to save them, even if it means dying himself.

"Big bro?..." Aran looks over, only to see a projection of Rosie getting stabbed through the chest.

"ARAN!!" A Sharonne projection. The floor dropped out from underneath her.

"BIG BRO!!!" Clover. Anvil dropped on her head. Aran jumps from projection to projection. With every "sister" that "dies," The clock strikes another number. Right before it strikes twelve, Aran reaches the final projection. One of Sharonne.

The room goes dark, and a scream is heard.

A more masculine scream than what they expected.

When the lights turn back on, Aran is seen barely holding on to his life as Monokuma stands where "Sharonne" once did.

When Aran thinks he might have a chance, the clock strikes twelve as the floor gives way and he falls to his death.

He was too weak to even scream on the way down.

Punch Out Halloween Headcanons

In the spirit of Halloween, here are some headcanons for what the Punch Out characters would do during this spooky season. This sort of ties into my mansion AU where they all live together in a mansion but that’s the only context you need to understand this.

Glass Joe

-Isn’t the biggest fan of candy.

-Bakes/cooks his own Halloween sweets, like cookies and cupcakes that he loves decorating.

-Favourite halloween food is candy apples.

-Doesn’t like horror movies.

-Goes through haunted houses with the others and squeals at the jumpscares.

-Makes his own costumes. They’re all incredibly silly but he tries to be scary. Nobody has the heart to tell him he isn’t.

-Really likes pocky, which Hondo introduced to him.

Von Kaiser

-Screams while giving out candy and throws them at the kids

-Doesn’t dress up.

-Helps Glass Joe decorate cookies and cupcakes.

-Watches horror movies and goes to haunted houses to prove he isn’t a coward. Ends up clinging to someone the whole time.

-Tries to go easy on the candy.

-Favourite candy is Reese’s

Disco Kid

-Dresses as musical characters or musicians. Has gone as Michael Jackson multiple times.

-Listens and dances to Thriller all the time.

-Calls October the “Spookay Season,”

-Lies about his age to go trick or treating “One is never too old for free candy!” “I’m a Disco Kid!”

-Goes to haunted houses and parties as well.

-Gets scared watching scary movies.

-Favourite candy is Starburst.

-Absolutely splurges on the candy.

King Hippo

-Eats all of the candy.

-Would try to eat it all before Halloween if it was bought pre-emptively.

-Sits at home and eats the candy.

-Is confused when the others watch horror movies.

Piston Hondo

-Gives out traditional japanese candies to trick or treaters and introduced these candies to the others.

-His favourite candy is Apollo. (A Japanese candy.)

-Still tries to eat somewhat healthy on Halloween, going easy on the candy and eating regular meals.

-Isn’t the biggest fan of American candy. “It has too much sugar.”

-Drives the others to and from parties if they need him to, but doesn’t attend himself.

-If he wears a costume at all, I could see him going as a samurai.

Bear Hugger

-Would 100% dress as a bear and you can’t convince me otherwise.

-Also splurges on candy.

-Favourite is Mike n’ Ikes.

-Watches horror movies with the others just to spend time with them.

-Loves going to parties too.

-Likes bobbing for apples.

-Gets the others to carve pumpkins with him and decorate the front of the mansion with them.

Great Tiger

-He would either be a cat or a tiger for Halloween. Either way, it’s a pretty minimalist costume.

-Each of his clones have the costume too.

-Didn’t really know what Halloween was until living in America so he just sort of goes along with what the others are doing.

-Helps the others put up decorations super high.

-Teleports away if something startles him in a haunted house. The others have trouble finding him after.

-Favourite candy is Sour Patch Kids. Would also love anything remotely spicy.

-Definitely pulls some pranks with his magic. “It’s trick or treat after all.”

-Is mostly pretty chill at the parties.

-Goes with Don Flamenco and Disco Kid when the latter trick or treats just to look at all the weird decorations (and low-key to spend time with his friends.)

Don Flamenco

-Gets super excited about putting up extravagant decorations all around the mansion and seeing all the fabulous costumes.

-Great Tiger often has to help him put the decorations in increasingly crazy places. (ie: the chandelier, the roof). Disco Kid also tries to help.

-Absolutely LOVES pocky and has definitely played the game with Carmen and maybe the others boxers at some point.

-Tries to pick a different costume every year. This year it’s a vampire.

-Goes to haunted houses with the others and is very dramatic when jumpscared. Is the same when watching horror movies.

-Brings the fruit punch to the party.

-Doesn’t have a favourite candy. Just eats all of them.

-He and Disco Kid play all of the Halloween themed songs on Just Dance and try to get Tiger involved too.

Aran Ryan

-PRANKS GALORE.

-Seriously, he’s always a prankster but he goes even more extreme on Halloween.

-Goes to multiple parties in one night, often stealing candy and wine from each.

-For some reason I like the idea of him dressing as a werewolf.

-Headbutts the water to bob for apples.

-Drinks a crap ton of alcohol as well. “It’s Halloween, I can splurge!”

-Brings alcohol to spike his punch with.

-Would definitely grief someone’s house with toilet paper.

-The most chill thing he will do is watch horror movies. In fact, he probably started that trend.

-Favourite candy is gummy worms. Probably also likes candy corn.

-Drags the others to corn mazes.

-Jumps in piles of leaves right after the others finish raking it. (Okay this one isn’t really Halloween themed but it’s something he would do.)

Soda Popinski

-He and Aran Ryan attend parties together, mixing every drink just to experiment.

-Will also help with his pranks.

-Also didn’t really know what Halloween was before America.

-Would go as a mummy. I don’t know why this came to mind, but I want it to be a thing.

-Loves any type of chocolate.

-Gives out cans of normal soda to trick or treaters. The kids love it.

-Bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies. Aran Ryan tries to awkwardly comfort him.

Aran: It’s just a dead person.

Soda: THAT IS THE PROBLEM, ARAN!

Bald Bull

-Doesn’t dress up.

-Questions the hell out of everything. (In broken english) “Why do you break the orange vegetables? What is this nonsense?!”

-Follows Bear Hugger around the whole night.

-Helps him carve pumpkins, even though it confuses him greatly.

-Viciously feasts on the candy. His favourite is Snickers.

-Bites lollipops/suckers into pieces, scaring the shit out of everyone.

-Is generally unfazed by the horror movies. If something does scare him, he will lash out at the screen.

-Tries to scare off trick or treaters.

SMM

-Would throw a party at his own mansion, inviting tons of people.

-Has the most over the top decorations, making Don super jealous.

-Tons of alcohol and candy.

-Aran and Soda grief his place and crash the party.

Mr. Sandman

-Wore a zombie costume on a dare from Disco Kid.

-He’s kinda like Bald Bull but more chill and knows what Halloween is.

-He loved trick or treating as a kid and totally went as Mike Tyson one year.

-Also bites lollipops and suckers.

-Gives out candy, since he really isn’t into the parties or haunted houses like the others.

-Scares the kids, but is more light-hearted about it.

-Watches horror movies with the others and isn’t scared at all.

-Will help Glass Joe with his Halloween snacks if requested.

-Sandman generally isn’t a prankster, but he might prank Little Mac.

-He likes the really sweet candy the best and his favourite is Hershey’s.

Doc Louis

-Loves handing out candy to the kids and often does it with Hondo and Sandman.

-Probably dresses as something cute, like a dog or something.

-Obviously really loves chocolate bars.

-Will buy the king sized ones on Halloween, with Three Musketeers and Milky Ways being his favourites.

-Along with Hondo, he tries to make sure nobody is getting into too much trouble.

-Will ride around the neighborhood on his bike to look at all the decorations. Little Mac will jog after him.
