we cry "the innocent women and children" to appeal to the masses, to try and force their sympathy, but the men and boys are innocent too.
I have seen sons crying out for their mothers, their fathers, their siblings. I have seen them break down at the loss of their families. I have seen them cling to their dead and grieve.
I have seen fathers cradle their dead children, seen them kiss their faces and hold their little hands. I have seen them faint with grief when asked to identify the dead. I have seen them carry their sons and daughters. I have seen them fasting to provide what little they can for their families.
I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.
I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.
the men are innocent too. the men and boys are being hurt and killed too. the men and boys are grieving too. the men and boys are scared too. the men and boys are fighting to save their people too. the men and boys deserve to be fought for too.

How many more innocent civilians have to be killed by Israel before you condemn that for it?
That is a genocide.
That this is a crime on all accounts.
And deserves to be punished to the full extent off the law.

im actually so sick of the “pick me” frenzy bc y’all will literally call anyone and everyone a pick me, especially if it’s a girl and it sucks even more when it comes from girls calling other girls “pick me” over minor things because it really shows how fucked up society is from internalised misogyny and it’s so fucking annoying. if you tell someone you don’t have friends, ur a “pick me”. if you tell someone you don’t drink or do drugs, ur a “pick me”. if you tell someone you don’t plan on having sex before marriage, ur a “pick me”. if you tell someone you’d rather spend quality time hiking instead of clubbing, they will joke and say “did he pick you yet?” what is it with this generation and shaming people just because they’re living their life in a way you don’t? i will admit it was funny at first but nowadays “pick me” literally has no meaning other than being used as an insult for girls who don’t want to get drunk and sleep around. you can go clubbing and drinking if you want. you can have hookups and friendships and relationships if you want. just don’t shame the ones who don’t because there is literally no reason for you to do so. when someone tells you something about themselves, just accept that the only thing they are doing is telling you something about themselves. they most likely have zero intention of trying to shame you or make you feel bad for living differently in the way you do when you call them a “pick me”. because when you say you wanna get to know someone but call them a “pick me” as soon they tell you they live in a way that doesn’t exactly align with your own hobbies, interests and ethics, it really does show who the insecure one is and who is simply trying to be themselves. so for the love of god just stop with the “pick me” this and “pick me” that and just let people be.
random thoughts: i’m such a hopeless romantic and lover girl to the core. but i’m also a logical realist and it saddens me to see all these so called perfect marriages fall apart. it’s crazy how you can pour your all into someone and think you can finally let your guard down, just for that person to turn around and dog you out. obviously some marriages last forever and are genuinely healthy, but most of these “happy couples” are putting up a front. this shit is not a disney fairy tale but i WISH it was.

maybe you don’t even have to imagine and some or all of these things have happened to you. idk what the point of this post was but as someone who likes to observe and study people, i’ve seen a lot of bullshit in my time. as much as i’m ready for my fairy tale love story, i also don’t want anything to do with this fuckery. i’m gonna be single and child free until i find someone who can treat me better than i can treat me, which is going to be difficult 😊

hollywood is such a dark, scary place and the celebs are no better. no matter how “sweet” or “unproblematic” some celebs may seem to the public, i’ll always assume they’re satanic pedos or abusers or whatever (i do feel for the celebs that have been abused and what not). i went to LA (the tourist area) and i felt so lonely and just out of place. the people were so vile and i saw a couple a-list celebs in weho and they all looked so depressed.
Inherently Hollywood is dark, I hope my deep dives have really made that clear. A true A lister (especially with long term staying power) has to do something truly evil to stay. Travis and Astroworld since I covered it is a great example…but they’re all dark and fake that whole industry is, even artists I love I know did evil. Like Ye I honestly truly in my heart of hearts believe is trying to repent…that he deeply in his soul knows he may not be saved but wants his children to be saved…that doesn’t mean he didn’t sell his soul and give up the person he loved the most, like that’s about as evil as you can get…but yeah that’s Hollywood …
I still feel for celebrities because Hollywood is just a fucked up mirror, a reflection of the western World…it’s just if every vice was accessible all the time…so ofc evil occurs all the time and abuse is systematic and circular…
I’m an East Coast girl but I have no desire to go to LA, every celebrity experience I’ve had has been sad, especially Rob Kdash…they’re always miserable…like they have to sell it as being alluring and imo wealth is alluring but fame..idgi…idk how ppl do not see through it…it is all so darksided…hopefully in our lifetimes Hollywood will be gone…they act infallible but really this is a niche micro culture that has been around for only about 100 years…it can be destroyed and I pray for its destruction🖤

Making these posts is not how I want to spend my time. I would much rather focus on Asian American power, joy, resilience, and resistance. No community wants to be defined by the worst things they’ve experienced. This series isn’t a submission to the oppression olympics or a pity party. I want to educate people in order to help connect the dots so we can see how the same kind of racism twists and evolves over time, but hasn’t gone away. Some events you might recognize, like the Chinese Exclusion Act, or Executive Order 9066 which was signed 79 years ago on this day. I hope everyone who reads these simply has a better understanding of Asian American history, and aims to do better now that you know better.

Reminder that Uighur Muslims are still being detained in China.

Are being forcibly detained in re-education concentration camps. Where there tortured ( such as sexual abuse and waterboarding), exploited for cheap labour (such as making face masks worn by the public.) Uighur women are mass sterilised and forced to have abortions.
They are being tracked through facial ID, blood and DNA samples with there families abroad pressured to not speak out.
And the justification... Is that it's to stop terrorism and radicalisation. And these camps have been made perfectly legal in China.
This is genocide.

And no one cares to do anything about it, Islamic countries are actually helping them.
