Hiya everyone! It was brought to my attention that not many references have been given out for the TV Guide. So I’ll be posting the following references: Major characters, minor characters, and backgrounds.

it's another mob psycho book debinded & scanned! the official picture collection is a 100-page book of penciled keyframes from the first season of the show. the book is out of print now and only available via the secondary market, so i wanted to let people who missed out be able to enjoy it. season 2 is in the same boat, and i'm gonna work on getting it scanned as well. season 3's book is currently available to purchase officially at studio bones' online store.

the book is entirely images, the only text present is a couple notes on some of the pictures, so it's entirely enjoyable without being able to read japanese. also, the parapara opening bits on the corners are flipbooks of the frames from the opening! they don't.. really work in digital format, though

I find it really wonderful and comforting that Mob Psycho 100 is so inherently optimistic, even though its main message, “you are not special” sounds so mean at face-value. Being special means that something matters more than something else of the same category. Being special at baking? Great! Being special at math? Super! Being special at bodybuilding? Neat! Having so many people have such unique special abilities is what makes the world work. But having a special ability doesn’t mean that someone who doesn't match your special ability matters less than you. You can't be special for simply existing, because that would mean someone else isn't. You aren't special because you inherently matter.

apparently in the japanese version of mp100, when mob meets reigen for the first time he initially uses polite speech but gets so excited&happy when reigen tells mob that he’s just like everyone else that mob forgets to use it and i think that’s pretty darn cute
