Why don’t you like contraception?
Birth control pills can give women depression.
Condoms break.
Etc...
Allow me to rephrase; I don't think contraception always work but it is important for women. I wish it was improved.
(and tell me if you actually like any/would watch in the comments)

House-ridden Fauna finds her observatory eye in her stone cottage vital when a murder takes place upon the misty moors she calls home: ‘In The Woods Somewhere’ by Hozier
pinning up the faces of possible life shattering criminals under the amber glow of candlelight, frosted panes and dew drenched windowsills, clotted mist rolling over moors and forests covering up the crimson spills that are occurring below, eagle eyes that bring about benevolent answers
Four strangers; the lost writer, the eccentric mystic, the faded photographer, and fire starter, all find the golden answer they didn’t know they needed in this mundane cafe when they each receive the wrong coffee order: ‘Coffee Breath’ by Sofia Mills
ravenous faces carved into the steel of thunderclouds, the scent of coffee teasing your senses, being reminded of why you began something, garnet cheeks and new treasure troves of ideas, finding caramel joy in someone you just met
Revenge drenched Dorcas has been resurrected right in the place she was burnt at the stake years ago, and this October she’s leaving embroidered curses upon the souls of the ancestors that made a bonfire her grave years ago: ‘Burn’ by Adam Hender
walking cobbled streets drenched in the scent of bonfire, raven eyes that cut off arrogant smiles with a glare, hearing the whispers of the dead whistling through the autumn leaves, spilling bad luck instead of crimson blood, cinnamon rolls laced with poison with no physical antidote
When two strangers with sodden minds find themselves both locked inside a museum they use the art to allow themselves to open up, and in this unexpected situation they find shelter in the other: ‘Picture Frame’ by The Kooks
golden edging on luxury frames, crafting worlds out of the images before you, sweaty hands brushed against fingers, tickled pink cheeks as warm as freshly baked bread, allowing someone else to light the match you always found to be too damp, cream sweaters and scuffed denim jackets
I just keep eating pasta huh
my toxic trait is carelessly getting dressed in front of open windows because if someone wants to look in, that’s their problem

You just said you had a problem with contraception, you think people can’t read now?
I said i don't agree with it
You said i don't allow women to make choices for their bodies.
Right...
I don't know why you are taking things out of context.
The long post w the good explanation is being shared but not inspiring much help. So, I simplified it.
My illness is straight up fatal. Not gonna beat around thatBush, anymore. I seem desperate for help because I AM desperate for help.
My nephrologist has seen enough improvement in my kidney function, lately, to believe someone my age (early 30s) might have a longer life WITH PROPER AND FREQUENT MEDICAL ATTENTION. Sadly, that just isn’t an option where I live.
Please, if you can help me with moving expenses (even just a couple of bucks) I would be grateful. I’m sinking fast in Mississippi and now my doctors are giving me too much hope to ignore. I wanna get out of this situation and I’m working my fatigued, brain-foggy ass off to make it out of here.
If I can undo the damage my heart failure caused to the rest of my body, I want to. I don’t want to spend another month KNOWING what I should be eating, what medicines I should be taking, what tests and treatments I should be getting… and receiving almost none of it because Mississippi lawmakers think people like me have somehow earned slow, painful deaths.
Pizza toppings are an opinion “women should be forced to endure unwanted pregnancy’s” isn’t. You can’t shovel shit and demand people don’t react to the smell
Opinions differ. Just trying to say opinions are reserved for nonsensical things like pizza in a world that is controversial all the time is a very naive thing to say.
No one is saying what Bee said shouldn't have been called out but there's a way to do certain things.
If you feel like someone saying something ignorant means they should be shamed and never forgiven because they said something you didn't agree with, that's a you problem. (I'm using you generally here)
Thinking that there is some golden, perfect person in the world that has never said anything to offend anyone ever in their life or believed in something bigot is an extremist ideology. Nobody is perfect. Yes we've all been tainted in different ways by our culture. If you're on this earth today of 2020 or were here before, congratulations. you've been tainted.
People who are progressive all around, learn from experience meaning all their lives they bettered themself. Even activist have at some point believed in a bigot thing. They don't go on social media and act as if they're above someone else because they have "the better opinion". The argument is about making the world a better place, not outing an individual that has fallen into the trap of society.
If you think you cannot teach a person who has a politically indifferent stance to you, you're no better than an extremist on the opposing side. People who think differently than us will not just die from disease or something. They will go on to raise generations of people who share their ideology and so will we. All berating will do is cause a civil war. There is a difference between someone saying something slightly problematic and someone acting out on being problematic and interfering with an opposing side.
Bee has the right to her opinion of contraception. Hell, I don't agree with it but she was not attacking anyone with her views. She didn't say abortion clinics should be taken down, she actually said she thinks they should be up and women should have access to better healthcare. So contraception in this scenario is basically a pizza topic opinion because it interferes with no one. It's her own belief and she says women don't have to follow it. She simply made a comment stating how condoms and birth control pills helps with preventing pregnancy, she never said women MUST use contraception and abortion clinics should be closed down. Tobey took it amongst herself to screen shot the comment and reblog it.
Was what Bee said shit? Yes. Was she going through an understandably hard time? Yes. Did she learn from it and apologize? Yes.
Bee is not Donald Trump. Bee is not Ben Shapiro. People can forgive Joe Biden and vote for him as president even though he's acted against people of color starting laws to put poc in jail, but you can't forgive a misguided, woman of color who said something slightly controversial on the internet???
You can’t say tobey has the right to keep the post up but call her an awfull person for doing so in the same breath, pick one or stop the fake reasonable act
Yes I can. It’s called an opinion. She has the right to keep the post up, doesn’t mean I think that makes her a “reasonable” person. It’s problematic to me. If you don’t like that you don’t have to stick around my blog :)
nightmare prompt for tangfei pretty please 🥺
Person A can tell that Person B is having a nightmare because they’re making weird noises/motions in their sleep so Person A wakes them up and asks if they’re okay
---
Of the both of them, they have long established that Tang Yi is the one who has nightmares. It’s almost counter-intuitive, considering that Shao Fei is the one dealing with violence and blood and crime day in, day out. In comparison, Tang Yi is now living life as a retired gang member and all he does is golf, work, have work dinners, and then spend time with Shao Fei, the days of fights and drugs well behind him.
Well, logically, it is supposed to be behind him, but Tang Yi wakes up in the middle of the night often, the coppery tang of blood filling his nostrils as he gasps for air, his hand reaching out for a figure who’s about to be shot to death, multiple hands grabbing at him in the dark, trying to ambush him while he’s asleep... many more.
When that happens, it’s always Shao Fei waiting with a hand caressing at his forehead as he comes back to himself. Shao Fei bringing him back to reality with his lips and his touch, his sweet murmurings.
So Tang Yi is a little surprised when he wakes up in the middle of the night this time, and it’s Shao Fei who’s fidgeting in bed and mumbling under his breath while asleep. Frowning, Tang Yi reaches over to the bedside and switches the lamp on, and-
Sweat beads at Shao Fei’s forehead and his face is incredibly pale; Tang Yi barely dodges when hands suddenly shoot out to swipe at him, and it is only reflex and practice from back in his gangster days that has Tang Yi catching both arms in his hold gently, afraid that Shao Fei is going to hurt himself like this.
On closer look, Shao Fei’s bottom lip is bleeding from where his teeth are biting down onto flesh in his nightmare, and Tang Yi startles yet again.
“Baobei,” he murmurs immediately, pulling Shao Fei into a sitting position and holding onto him, not too tightly, but with just enough force to keep him from flailing. “Baobei, you’re having a nightmare, wake up.”
He realizes the moment Shao Fei comes awake, because the body in his embrace goes ramrod straight with a shudder. Tang Yi waits patiently but keeps up with his soft litany of murmurings and kisses to his temple.
“... Tang,” Shao Fei croaks, his voice hoarse as he shakes, “Tang Yi...”
“You okay?” Tang Yi asks, pulling him closer now that he’s awake, “Baobei, it was just a dream. I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere.”
“Tang Yi,” Shao Fei repeats, burying his face into his husband’s shoulder.
Tang Yi doesn’t ask. When Shao Fei stops shaking, he moves to get out of bed, and when Shao Fei refuses to let him go, Tang Yi lifts him out from under the covers as well.
Standing obediently as Tang Yi undresses him and drying his sweat with a clean towel, Shao Fei feels a lot like a doll. His brain is all mush and refuses to string two coherent thoughts together, and all he wants is Tang Yi. They don’t speak much as Tang Yi pulls a clean shirt over his head, and then directs him back to bed.
He lets Shao Fei curl right against him, and his hold is much tighter than usual, but Tang Yi doesn’t mind.
They’ll talk about Shao Fei’s nightmare tomorrow morning, when the terror of the night no longer haunts him.
For now, he guards Shao Fei’s sleep and smiles a little when Shao Fei’s breaths even out against his neck.
Lockdown nerfed my creativity big-time but I’ve finally felt in the right headspace to pick up some pencils again… and of course I had to draw Zhu Yilong as Wu Xie. :D
