BSD Dead Apple ★ Chuuya being badass on motorcycle
Alright, let’s talk about it: Everyone keeps complaining that no one interacts, but at the same time, the only thing I see is "interact with me/my blog" and then? Nothing...
So, instead of just shouting into the void, why not write what you actually want? Angst? Fluff? Silly moments? Drama? Long-term arcs? Just say it, and people will know how to approach you!
1. Use the Resources Available!
I have already built multiple blogs to help people interact, but they only work if you use them!
→ The @bsd-rp-masterlist sorts everyone by organization, AU, etc. It’s literally designed for you to find people easily!
Example: "I have an OC in the ADA. Let’s check who else is there and start a conversation!"
The Masterlist also collects independent characters: consider recruiting them into organizations or even founding your own! If you see someone missing, help me find and add them!
→ @bsd-yokohama: This isn’t just a generic rp setting. It’s a city I carefully mapped out based on BSD’s unique version of Yokohama. Many places in BSD don’t exist in real life, so I used Google Street View to find the location where it could be and marked them accordingly. I’ve included key spots from the series and made sure to create a city that feels immersive and alive. Use it to place your character in specific locations and build natural interactions!
→ @bsd-bdays helps you check who has a birthday coming up so you can throw maybe an rp party!
We all live in the same city. Why don’t we act like it? If we were actually in Yokohama, we wouldn’t just sit at home screaming "Interact with me!" and then sulk when nothing happens. We’d go out and do things. So let’s create events and shared moments:
I already made 2 missions, but I also want to introduce city-wide events. And not just any events, but events that make your characters feel real. What are they passionate about? What skills or professions do they have? Let’s bring that into the city!
→ A writer could host a book reading or a literary discussion at a café. → A painter might hold a vernissage at the Yokohama Museum of Art. → A detective character could get involved in solving a high-profile case. → A journalist might uncover a major scandal. → A chef could organize a ramen contest. → A scientist might present a breakthrough discovery. → A local bar could host a karaoke night that gets wildly out of hand.
Think outside the box! Yokohama isn’t just a backdrop! It’s a city waiting to be lived in. If you have an idea that could work as a mission or a city-wide event, tell me (@bsd-yokohama)! I’d love to incorporate it!
Something I love from Vampire the Masquerade (which I rp in real life as pen&paper) is forming small groups, "coteries", even across enemy factions:
→ Why not have an ADA, Port Mafia, and Guild member who always meet at the cemetery for goth picnics?
→ Or create independent gangs, new organizations, or just a group of friends who always hang out at the same bar?
Think beyond basic interactions – build something that lasts!

i really hate e-begging and i'm really fucking distraught that this is happening like five days before my paycheck.
but,
my housemate's dentist just played a Nasty Fucking Trick because we forgot the magic words "are you in network for our insurance" and instead asked "do you accept our insurance". and now we are on the hook for $800 we really, really don't have. i managed to push Last Month's Consequences forward a month with the magic of credit cards and i had everything planned out and now we are lining up to get sucker punched into the debt doom spiral and we'd really like to avoid that if possible.
any help is appreciated, even if it's just a reblog. thanks.
will delete this post when we're fine.
I've been doing some research on the dragon's head conflict, and, naturally, looked into the wiki-fandom page first thing. That's when I found some interesting information that I've never seen before, nor have I found anyone mention. The information is as following:
(After Chuuya punched Dazai in the manga):
Later, Shibusawa reappears, noting the streets are more populated than normal considering the ongoing war. He approaches a florist, asking her for a bouquet of white flowers, but the woman reveals a gun. The woman, alongside all the other 'citizens', is part of a faction Dazai leads. Dazai confronts Shibusawa himself, bluntly telling him he won't hesitate in killing him, and that, no matter how powerful the ability, a "one-man army" stands no chance against a juggernaut faction of ability users like the Port Mafia. This concept interests Shibusawa, who asks Dazai if "power in numbers" is why Dazai joined the Port Mafia, to which Dazai confirms. Their conversation continues, and in the end, Dazai states that while he can let go of the death of 'Colonel', he is not kind enough to leave Shibusawa alive. Shibusawa approves of Dazai's resolve, urging him and the Port Mafia to show no remorse. He states the conflict will not end until he is defeated. Dazai argues it will only end after everyone dies, and claims to know a way to end everything. To which, Shibusawa suggests "more conflict". Shibusawa compares the Dragon's Head Conflict to a conflagration - a large, destructive fire - and the only way to end it is to extinguish its flames with an even larger, greater explosion. A massive explosion goes off, much to Dazai's (rare) shock. Shibusawa explains he's arranged a war between the Port Mafia and all the opposing organisations combined and intends to destroy their headquarters. Dazai cannot believe Shibusawa arrived here, prepared to die, but Shibusawa informs him he made two miscalculations. 1- Shibusawa knew of the ambush. 2- Assuming Shibusawa belongs to no organisation. An array of different abilities attack, slaughtering the gunmen. Shibusawa confirms Dazai's claim: that the power of an organisation is incredible, as he found his way into one out of sheer boredom. Another assault hails down on the Port Mafia's headquarters. Oddly impressed with the 'White Giraffe', Dazai learns Shibusawa's name - and as such, the head of the Dragon's Head Conflict. A Mafia building crashes into the plaza, along with many other buildings belonging to different organisations. Despite all the organisations now participating in a single war, Dazai goes missing.
When did all of this happen?? The article provides no source for this section. I checked the manga, the dead apple lightnovel, even the dark era ln, and none mentioned anything about Dazai's confrontation with Shibusawa when he was 16. All of them cut from Chuuya punching Dazai straight to seeing Dazai captured and waiting to be rescued.
It still seems too detailed to be something fanon, so what's the source, exactly? And where can I find it?
Hm...very important. I'll write this down. ✍️ 📒
finals kicking my butt 😔 take this
Microwaved pomegranate juice tastes interesting...i like it
Having a cute ginger cat just means naming him Chuuya ,yep that little furball is named "Chuuya"
I won't keep you long. Here are the facts:
Siraj Abudayeh @siraj2024 is a Gazan journalist and a father of three.
He and his family have been displaced 7 times.
They have survived multiple recent massacres in Khan Yunis.
They live in a tent that feels like a "convection oven".
He can hear tank fire across the street.
His parents and siblings escaped Deir al-Balah and are now homeless; he has to care for them too.
He needs to raise $5,000 CAD / $3653 USD by the end of the day.
He's probably gotten a hundred thousand notes on his posts at this point.
This has been meaningless. His campaign moves at a glacial pace.
The Palestinian genocide is the fault of the US, UK, Israel, and the imperial core in general.
When we in the imperial core do not donate to people like him, we perpetuate the genocide.

replacement suggestion for people who want the drama of Arahabaki being a voice in Chuuya's head that yearns for destruction and stuff (since canonically it has no thoughts or will of its own and is just raw power):
Picture our Nakahara "I do everything for my friends" Chuuya, Nakahara "with great power comes great responsibility" Chuuya, Nakahara "if I compartimentalize my trauma it can't hurt me" Chuuya.
Picture our guy so raw from using Corruption, or maybe not dealing as well as he thinks with his trauma, or maybe just really tired, or any moment of weakness where you'd want the Arahabaki whispers to kick in.
In those moments of weakness, the Bad Feelings get a hold of him: self-doubt, despair, anger, loneliness. It's so unusual for him to dwell on those things it might as well sound like someone else is feeding him those thoughts. Maybe it adds another layer of frustration. Maybe it does make him want to blow everything up, just to let off some of those feelings.
And maybe in that already bad state of mind, intrusive thoughts enter the field. Things he doesn't really want and things he would never do. Things that make him uncomfortable, things that scare him. He would be able to bring down the Port Mafia. He could kill all those random civilians. He could run away. He already has black holes at the tip of his fingers, he could just destroy everything and leave nothing behind.
And between the very real (but enhanced, put at the forefront) bad feelings and the persistant intrusive thoughts, things might get jumbled in his head. If missing departed friends is real, maybe wanting to get rid of those left is, too. If he's angry at how unfair things have been for him and his loved ones, blowing everything up might be a legitimate reaction. Maybe it really is what he wants? Perhaps that little voice, no matter how scary, is right?
In short: replace "Arahabaki" with "Chuuya's subconscious", for better and for worse. Not to quote Dazai, but: let Chuuya suffer as a human being. Let his struggles be tragically mundane and common.
(and for comfort there's nothing like bringing other people in for a reality check and ground him again)
