──★ADMIRATION

╰┈➤ His little crush on you starts when he begins seeing you. You’re in one of his classes, usually you sit across the room from him and you don’t really notice him. Leon finds you beautiful, but he doesn’t do much about his little crush. 

╰┈➤ But then he starts seeing you everywhere. In the dining hall sitting with your friends. He sees you at random spots on campus, rushing to your next class. He even sees you eating out with your friends at places off campus.

╰┈➤He knows it’s likely a coincidence, or maybe he’s just been conditioning himself to search for you everywhere he looks, but he can’t help but feel like it’s fate. 

╰┈➤He’s still much too shy to just go up and talk to you. Instead, he finds himself staring in class, mesmerized by your presence. 

╰┈➤The two or three times you glance back at him and notice him staring, he’s star struck, and he forces himself to look away. 

──★ INFATUATION 

╰┈➤ Leon can’t get you out of his head at this point. He feels like he’s back in high school crushing on someone he’s only seen in the hallway. Was it normal that his heart fluttered whenever he thought about you? When he caught small glances every so often? ╰┈➤He’s embarrassed to admit he has feelings for someone he’s never spoken to. 

╰┈➤He eventually mentions it to his roommate after getting a bit tipsy. He doesn’t want to keep it to himself forever, anyways. 

╰┈➤He immediately regrets it, though, when he goes to a party one night with his roommate and notices you. He knows his roommate won’t shut up about it all night. 

“Just go talk to them, it’s not hard to get someone’s number.” Leon’s roommate tells him as they both stand in the corner, watching you from behind a small crowd of people in the dimly lit home.  Even with the lack of lighting, Leon’s face is glowing bright red. He could light up this house with his red cheeks alone.  “Shut up.” Leon replied before taking a small sip from the can of beer he was holding. “The worst that can happen is you getting rejected. That’s not the end of the world. You’ll never know if you don’t try…” his roommate coaxed again, but Leon cut him off.  “But we have one class together, I don’t want to show up to class tomorrow in the same room as someone who rejected me, that’s so awkward. What if everyone finds out I got rejected?” Leon blabbered on; his face still flushed.  “Leon, I promise you, no one will care. No one will find out about you getting rejected. Just… go give them a compliment.” his roommate replied.  Leon let out a defeated sigh before handing his companion his beer and gently pushing past people to get to you.  You were there with your friends, chatting about something. You noticed Leon approaching you, fidgeting as he moved to talk to you.  “Hey, you’re in my English composition class...” Leon says, his voice soft and barely audibly over the noise.  “Yeah? I think I’ve seen you.” You replied. Leon’s face reddens.  “Yeah? Well, uhm… I thought you were cute, so I just wanted to ask you for your number.” Leon says.  You tilt your head a bit, eying his bright red face before agreeing and writing your number down for him.  “See? Wasn’t that hard?” his roommate teased him as Leon returned holding your number, his face bright red, his heart beating out of his chest. 

──★PINING 

╰┈➤ Leon’s shy to call you at first, and he doesn’t the next day because he’s too shy. He calls once his roommate keeps insisting that he should just rip the band aid off and call already. 

╰┈➤Your first call is a bit awkward, but you find Leon completely endearing. He;s clearly flustered to be talking to you - part of him is still in shock that you handed him, of all people, your number. He feels like you’re way out of his lead. 

╰┈➤Calls slowly start becoming a daily ritual. You’ll call him after class, yap to him about your day and help each other with assignments. 

╰┈➤Eventually, Leon asks you if you want to study with him in library occasionally. You’ll quiz each other on upcoming tests, but you spend most of the time just working quietly next to each other. Leon’s a clingy puppy, he wants to spend every moment with you, even if you’re not talking to him.

╰┈➤It’s hard for either of you to ever actually focus - you two keep stealing glances at each other before one of you buries your face back in your textbook. Being near you makes Leon’s heart race - it’s a rush he still hasn’t gotten used to yet. 

╰┈➤ You start sitting next to each other in class and in the dining hall. Leon was scared to start sitting next to you first, he doesn’t want to assume you’re more comfortable with him than you actually are.

╰┈➤So he’s over the moon when you choose to sit down next to him in class instead of across the room. 

╰┈➤You two occasionally eat the shitty college food at the dining hall together. It’s still shitty, but somehow it’s more tolerable with Leon by your side. 

──★HEAD OVER HEELS 

╰┈➤ Leon eventually asks you out over the phone to a real date. No more eyeing one another from across the table while studying together anymore. Real quality time. 

╰┈➤He’s just as nervous as he was the first time he met you, but he’s beginning to manage it. He doesn’t have to worry about weirding you out anyways, you find his embarrassment endearing. 

╰┈➤You two start going out together more and spending time at each other’s apartments for at home dinner dates or movie nights. 

╰┈➤You start stealing clothes from Leon’s closet and wearing them out. He doesn’t even notice he's missing a hoodie when he gets dressed in the morning until he comes to class and sees you wearing his. He’d never get mad at it though, he adores how cute you look in his oversized hoodie, letting everyone know you were with him.

╰┈➤ You two still head out to the library sometimes to study together, which often leads you to go back to Leon’s apartment afterwards (to study, obviously…)

╰┈➤His roommate still teases Leon every chance he gets, always unintentionally embarrassing Leon in front of you. 

You were resting against Leon on the couch, watching some shitty movie that you had rented from BlockBuster with Leon. “Lovebirds.” Leon’s roommate teased as Leon threw his arm over you and pulled you closer onto his body, wanting more cuddles. He didn’t care how soft that made him look, he wanted cuddles. “Shut up.” Leon replied as he continued to hold you against his body, his hand stroking your back.  “Can’t talk to me like that, I’m the one who encouraged you to shoot your shot. You were talking about your little crush constantly and didn’t want to do anything about it.”  Leon’s face went red and he looked away, clearly embarrassed.  “You told your roommate that you had a crush on me?” you asked quietly, noticing how red Leon was becoming.  “Yeah he did. He would tell me all about you, about how pretty he thought you were, I was the one who told him to go up and ask for your number.”  Even though Leon was horribly embarrassed, you didn’t find it something to be embarrassed over. You found it endearing that your cute boyfriend had been gushing over to you before you even got together. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
