how i wanna be

if you're wondering why I care so much about working hard and improving yourself instead of just relying on being pretty as the bare minimum, 1) I was raised with these values irregardless of looks. 2) why would I settle for being the hottest girl in walmart when I can be the hottest girl at the chanel boutique? why be pretty and get a low-but-passing grade for free when I can be pretty and get the highest grade in the class? some people are content with using their looks to be mediocre with ease but not me. with just a little bit more effort, I can have the world. when I say squeeze every drop of juice of out life, I mean it. don't get comfortable. reach for the next rung of the ladder. you'll be glad you did. if you simply got a job because you're pretty, imagine what could happen if you try to be a good employee too? don't just accept the low hanging fruit! beauty AND brains! pretty AND productive!
