Viktor is a unique character in Arcane. They all suffer. They all experience bad shit. But anything related to him is a different level of pain. Cute fanart and soft fanfics are nothing more than an alternative universe where he gets to experience what he never got (out of fear, wrong decisions, the circumstances, etc) therefore, is sad to consume the content (it's amazing tho) And if it's in the Arcane universe, it's also sad (also amazing). My point is that you can't win. It's impossible to have a 100% happy experience when it's about him, either canon or fanon. You get to the same conclusions based on his suffering.
Vow.
Oh god, I'm painfully gay.
oh tell me what you're willing to do.
MR. TALIS! OH GOD!!
And of course, I couldn’t forget about this scene for my Pride and Prejudice AU🙂↕️

an adaptation of a scene from Vice and Crucible by sherwoodfox -- one of my very fav jayvik fics ToT give it a read! I made a 10 page comic just to shill for this fic, so trust my convictions. it's good I promise
I can't believe someone hasn't made this one yet. Is this not how the scene went?
THEY LOOK SO COOL!!!
The tattoos.
The expressions.
The details for both haircuts.
VIKTOR'S SHIRT BEING A DIRECT REFERENCE TO THE ARCANE.
I've rarely seen incorrect quotes for the arcane fandom. Can anyone PLEASE share some with me???

cait: (holding up cherries): what are these?

I would like to add how relevant it is for her to still fall into these feminine characteristics here and there. She is not a man, and that's the whole point. She is not extremely feminine but still wears makeup and tops. Her facial features are soft. Even still, there is no "revelation of extreme happiness, and motivation from being feminine, and how it would be life-changing." (That's just stupid, I hate that trope.)
She just doesn't care. There are more important things (like an upcoming war, losing her family, dealing with being an enforcer, a heartbreak, and the list goes on and on...)
Even if there was a situation/scene of her wearing a dress, I don't think she would hate it. I believe Violet is just too comfortable with herself to care about that. Honestly, I feel like her clothing style is practical and a reflection of the life she has.
can we just…appreciate Vi for a second? For all the “let women be feminine” posting I’ve seen, I have literally never seen a butch 100% gender non-conforming female character. There is always a scene where she is forced to wear a dress, where she learns that being girly isn’t that bad. But Vi? She’s so unapologetic about her presentation. She never wears a dress once. Her fighting style isn’t “oh she’s skinny and fast” like most other women fighters on TV: Vi is muscular and punches the shit out of things. She’s angry, commanding, and assertive. We need more female characters like Vi.
