When you have a AO3 notification from earlier today that you didn't read because, you know, work (boo) and now you can't read the next installment of one of your favorite fics on AO3.

ao3 maintenance shut down has literally given me the perfect opportunity to complete my holiday homework, but knowing my procrastinating ass I'll waste it all reading my downloaded fics *facepalm*
2 HOURS BEFORE SHUTDOWN!! download all your to-read fics, grab a blanket and get snuggly, cuz the rest of the 10 hours will be very difficult

like, is it just me, or is it down for everyone? Does anyone know when it'll be back up?

We all know about the DDOS attacks on AO3 as it is still down. So it is very important we talk about the KOSA(Kids Online Safety Act) that is going to hit the floor soon. Because if that act goes through this could very much be the new reality of not only AO3 but online fandom spaces within the next year. The point of this act is to limit queer media and to eliminate online queer spaces.
Let me stress, the politicians are lying to you. Democrats and Republicans are lobbying for this. It is not pro trans rights and it is not pro lgbtq rights. This is very reminiscent of the Restrict Act! Politicians can SUE websites for having QEEER CONTENT. This act will not protect kids, it will further separate and marginalize the queer community!
If this bill goes through AO3, Wattpad, TikTok, Tumblr, and Twitter will be limited and fanfiction websites could be wiped out all together. If you are apart of fandom spaces pay attention and ACT! Call and email your senators! AND SIGN THE BELOW PETITIONS!

Quick update on 'How did we get here?' And my two other DC works.
I am in the hospital so they will not get posted tomorrow. They will most likely get posted Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for all that have been reading and leaving comments. I read every single one of them and they have helped me progress this story, do thanks for that!
And I was right, the DP Ă— DC crossover will be more than three chapters. I will try to keep it small but I have little hope for that.

OH GOD I NEARLY DID AN ALL-NIGHTER TO GET THIS DONE!!!
So after AO3 deleted more than HALF of this Chapter, I decided to step up and re-write it all. I apologize if it may not be the best, but I do cover some very important questions and topics.
Like how Season 3 kicked Golden Madness’s butt and just how complicated things are going to get. Along with even more questions.
