Yay! I'm learning things! I'll share later! But I must get back to work.
Progress - How I got to this point:
Step 1 is a thumbnail. A really quick (30 seconds max) really small (3 x 5 cm; that’s actually too big for an actual thumbnail but pssssht) doodle of what the drawing might look like. I'll often do multiple of them per drawing, trying out different poses and angles.
Step 2 is an anatomical and perspective sketch. I took some reference photos of myself to test out poses. It lended up looking way too stiff (as my initial sketches often do, this is my least favourite step). Also, I decided I wanted Isa to look down.
Step 3 was new for me. I was stuck in a place with only post-its and a pen, so I redrew the picture from memory, focussing more on the flow, but with the anatomy and perspective cues I still had in mind from step 2. This worked SUPER well and I think this will be my new MO from now on. So I guess that makes Step 2 a study actually? Wow, using studies in my art, that sounds so professional.
Step 4 is a big step. I took a photo of step 3 and then worked over it digitally. I worked out the final pose I wanted (mix between step 2 and 3), took some new reference photos, played around with the pattern in the background and the flow. Then I printed it (in twice the size I usually work with) and finally …
Step 5 I traced the printed sketch on the paper I want to use for the colours. This step alone took over TWO HOURS and I fixed some details (like correcting tangents) while working on it. Usually I trace only very lightly, often in a pencil that will smudge into the colours. I don't like working with actual lines, I only add them at the very end of a drawing. But this was when I realized I will have to post the WIP and in order for you to see anything at all I jumped over my shadow and drew over the lines again with different pencils (ranging from scale B to 3H). Which took another 1 1/2 hours. Oof.
And that’s where we are now! <3 Next up is colour, but I won’t get to that anytime soon unfortunately :(

Wake up, first of all correct the intentions and policies of the government so that every important thing can be improved.
True logical progression always comes with automation, so this way there is no need to waste time in manually instructing anyone about anything.
Obviously, when common sense is already automated, what is the need for any kind of manual instruction about anything?
So, in the end, the presence of instructions basically means that there are only scams going on in the name of progress.

TW: mention of calories
Just a brief check in today. No long, venting post this time.
Anyway...today went pretty well. I didn’t make it to the gym like I, originally, had planned. However, I was very mindful with what I ate today. I even managed to incorporate some vegetables and fruit. But, I also made sure to not deprive myself. For instance, after lunch today, I really wanted a cookie, so I had a cookie. AND...I didn’t feel bad about it all. I didn’t immediately head to the gym to work off the calories (which is something I would have done a few years ago).
I’d also like to highlight the fact that I went shopping for clothes this past weekend...and guess what? I didn’t have my usual mental breakdown in any of the fitting rooms I used (can’t wait to report this to my therapist LOL).
Overall, I’m really proud of myself. I know that meeting all of my goals will take longer than I’m used to, as I’m doing it with a healthier mindset this time. But, I know that, in the long run, this will be the best and most sustainable way. :)

Да, и любое хирургическое вмешательство смертельный риск, а в мозг ещё риск стать инвалидом на голову, тем более многократное вмешательство — чип недолговечен !

Если бритва имеет защиту от работы от сети, то получается от аккумулятора она постоянно вырубается через каждые две секунды после включения, а прямо от сети не бреет.
Если бритва позволяет бриться от сети то при отслужившем аккумуляторе не сразу включается, пока дохлый аккумулятор слегка не зарядится, и первую минуту сильно щиплет потому что аккумулятор подсаживает питание мотора от сети пока не подзарядится немножко больше.
А бритвы без аккумуляторов уже никто не выпускает, прогресс идёт в жопу динозавра, а не на благо потребителям.

Day 43 (1:16) of rewriting my novel
Today, Part 3 cracked 20,000 words!
Part 3 is finishing up nicely as I bridge the gap between the New Heroes leaving Tolftorrijv behind and the scene where Lozerief comes to them in Obizoe.
I'm not convinced that the ending to Part 3 is my best work, but for now, it just needs to exist until the novel is done.
Plus, there's a lot of Part 5 planning that I need to do before this whole thing is complete. And even then, I don't know how far into post-novel canon I'm willing to go before I deem the story complete. This is just a thought that's been on my mind as Part Three (hopefully) comes to a close, soon.
