Det är bara den senaste som inkluderar nanobots, jag skulle säga att no time to die är den enda som är MGS-ig i de nya bond filmerna, de andra inkl. kasino royale, quantum of solace, leap of faith, specter, är ganska distinkta. Fansubs released for Geografens testamente (the Geographer's Testament), seasons 1 and 2!
Summary: Holger is just an ordinary factory worker who's never left his home town. One day he hears about the death of a famous geographer and is astonished to hear that she left him something: a riddle hinting at the location of something valuable. The local shop owner/eccentric engineer Mortensen manages to convince him that they should search for it together... But their pleasant treasure hunt soon turns into a matter of life and death - not just for our heroes, but for planet Earth itself.
(So yeah, it's an edutainment show that's been nominated twice for the national award "Kristallen" within the category of "Best Children's Show". It was still weirdly compelling to me as an adult, so here you go.)

This is one of those works with riddles, wordplay, and riddles involving wordplay... I've tried my best to force words into the right shapes, but was still forced to add translators' notes in some scenes where I genuinely couldn't think of a single replacement that made sense in context.
The Swedish subs also had several noticeable errors (especially in the first season, but other seasons misspell character names from time to time); hopefully all of these should be fixed in translation.
In terms of location names, I'll admit that my handling of these is inconsistent. For instance, I had decided not to refer to the provinces of Sweden by their Latin names, but when the second episode featured the adjective "skånska" (referring to things from Skåne/Scania) I couldn't figure out how to conjugate it in English with "Skåne" as a base and had to translate it to "Scanian" anyway.
Unlike my previous translations I decided not to use [brackets] whenever people are speaking in a language other than Swedish - it happens a lot later on.
... Unfortunately I'm already burned out on the project and would like to move on to other things, so no fansubs are planned for seasons 3 and 4. On the other hand the first episode of season 3 does have official subs in English, so let's hope they don't just leave it at that.
Fansubs released for Bamse (1972-1981)
So a little while ago, @the-best-fictional-turtle held a tournament about fictional turtles. Skalman, one of the central protagonists from Swedish children's comic Bamse, somehow made it in. On my sideblog, I joked that I'd translate every single comic in the franchise's 57-year long history if he won. And well... He actually won!
While I genuinely can't translate the whole comic as promised, the creator's animated shorts made in the 70's and 80's have now been subbed. These shorts are missing a lot of the modern cast, and the comic's strong educational tone is not as apparent here. But if you like funny little animals going on funny little adventures with some bonkers sound effects you may enjoy it!

That being said, I'm going to do something different than usual. Characters are often named after their species and/or character traits in this series... So this time I would like to provide two versions of the subs:
With no localised names (on Dropbox) - ready!
With localised names (OSS, Subscene, & Dropbox) & other corrections if necessary - eventually

Like I said I can't localise the whole franchise, but I still want to leave some doors open for the future when picking names.
So:
First I have to address Vargen. You'll notice that he gets called "the wolf" even in the un-localised version. This is because, according to his backstory, he doesn't have a proper name. His caretakers just called him "vargen"/"the wolf" despite being wolves themselves. So just in case I decide to translate the stories detailing this backstory one day, I couldn't give him a name either. sorry wolf :(
Bamse is a tough one, and I'm leaning toward not localising it. Even the official localisation gave up and just called him "Bamsy"! For comparison, the word "bamse" in Swedish is usually an adjective meaning "big", and occasionally a noun referring to a bear. So even though Bamse is a fairly small bear, it fits him well... I guess Teddy would have been a decent name for him, but there is a comic typically considered the "prototype version" of Bamse which features a similar protagonist already called Teddy. And later in this series, Bamse actually has a son called Teddy... So no dupes allowed.
Lille Skutt -> Good grief. The official localisation called him Little Frisky. But in the original both he and his son are named after terms related to jumping, so I would prefer to save that theming for later. Hopper always sounds nice, so Little Hopper... Then his child could remain "Mini-Hopp" (with or without that extra p). But their names become too similar then? I'm still frantically looking through naming sites and can't find anything useful... of course the anxious little guy would cause me the most stress trying to think of a name for him EDIT: A simpler alternative would just be Little Jump... Thinking I might settle for that for now.
Skalman -> Shellback. Taken from the official English localisation, which actually called him Professor Shellback. I'll cut the Professor to save space in the subs/speech bubbles. (For comparison, his original name means Shell man.)
There are a number of side characters with a "human" first name and species as their last names, i.e. Mickelina Räv and her parents (foxes), Ola Grävling (racoon badger sorry), Annika Anka (duck)... I'll probably just translate the species and leave the names alone. (Nina Kanin didn't show up in these shorts but might be an issue later, since her name is supposed to be a palindrome as well as a reference to her being a rabbit...)
One time I went looking through some really old files on my phone, and I found this
"First of all, jump, second of all, die. Third of all, kys. Fourth of all, kys. Fifth of all, shut up. For the *unintelligible number*th, fuck you. For the fifth, and the sixth and all that shith...stop sms'ing."
I think maybe a friend of mine got sick of being bombarded with notifications, from the rest of us talking in Whatsapp lol
Låter som någonting man skulle kunna se på. Finns både humor och like spänning i att åka tillbaka i tiden. Verkar lite mystiskt med, så det är bra.

Ursäkta språket med det här gör mig galen. Det är som att de inte ser invandrare som medmänniskor. ”Det är för integrationen” och hur hjälper det här. Det ända ni visar är att vi ser dem som annorlunda.
Kan någon snälla säga att jag har missförstått någonting för det här är inte ok.

Vissa lärare driver den här mentaliteten så mycket att det inte är sant.
En lärare sa innan ett kemiprov vi hade: ”Jag förväntar er att få alla rätt.”. Jag överdramatiserar det inte ens! Hon sade det, ord för ord. Och visst, det provet var över saker som skulle användas mycket i ämnet men kom igen, alla rätt!?
Efter provet, när hon sett att vissa inte svarade på alla frågorna sade hon: ”vissa har uppenbarligen inte gjort sin läxa.” Ursäkta mig????? Varför antar du att de inte har pluggat!? De kanske inte bara minns??? Kanske hade andra ämnen att tänka på??? Alla kan inte plugga konstant!
Det gör mig galen! Att de även utgår från att ingen har inlärningssvårigheter! Vissa har svårt att lära sig! De kommer göra fel! Man behöver inte få A i allt!
Jag har själv redan blivit utbränd en gång (är inte helt ok än) och denna mentalitet hjälper inte alls! Det räcker att få godkänt! Gör det bästa du kan och behöver du inte göra om provet så var nöjd! Det är tillräckligt.
när du e i gymnasiet o mentorn säger "du behöver påminna dig själv o hjälpa dig själv vi kommer inte göra det för dig" o "det finns ett större krav att få högre betyg!!" men du har autism och kan gå i burnout snabbare än bussen som kör till nästa station just när man skulle stiga av.
