Las Vegas Shooting
I just wanted to clear my thoughts and hopefully get some proper facts right now, because I'm not really sure what to believe.
I just heard that there has been another shooting in America, and the gunman reportedly had over 10 guns with him, including guns that are supposed to be inaccessible to anyone other than military personnel.
These are the facts that I know. So someone please tell me, how did this happen? Why is it so easy for a random 64 year old man to buy 10 guns. I mean, even if the state doesn't want to ban guns outright, shouldn't there at least be a limit for how many guns a person can buy? And if there is a limit, why isn't it being enforced? I saw a video of the shooting, and what I heard sounded like machine gun fire. How does a random person acquire a machine gun??
A lot of people seem to be against gun control because they believe that the second amendment (I think that's the one, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not American) grants them the right to purchase a gun for self defense. I understand that sentiment, but gun technology has advanced so much since that amendment was introduced that the amendment itself seems obsolete. When it was introduced, guns were so inaccurate that they could kill only a few people at a time at worst. And that too only at point blank range. Now we have guns that are highly accurate (this particular shooter was killing people from one of the higher floors of a hotel right?) and the current crop of guns is also capable of shooting hundreds of people in a few short seconds.
Like I said before, I'm not American so I may not know everything that there is to know about this law and the state of gun control in America, but it really seems like it needs to go through a radical revision. People are paying for this with their lives.

I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

Whenever I’m in any type of relationship with a man whether it be casual or serious, I always feel like I’m pretending throughout the entire duration of the relationship, and I don’t do it on purpose. I don’t aspire to morph into my current boyfriend’s image of the perfect girl, it just happens. The way I talk, walk, dress and behave all become skewed and foreign to me. I hate that no man I’ve been in love with has met the real me. I don’t make up the way I feel about these guys, I just haven’t met anybody that I’ve felt like I could be my true self around. Whenever whatever fling I have going ends, I’m left disgusted with myself and empty because though I was vulnerable with my heart, I wasn’t with my soul and I don’t know how to change that. It’s not even just with romantic partners, it happens in majority of my friendships too. Also, for some reason I don’t think that any of these people have really tried to get to know to me on a deeper level anyway, so how could I be myself if nobody ever knows me? I think I’m cool and worth knowing, it just feels shit that nobody else seems to. I don’t know where or how to meet people that make me feel like being myself, but I would really like to.

tldr: the Internet Archive/WayBack Machine is super important in term of archived content, billions of stuff are on there, and with the current event happening in the world like stated above,without this tool, it will be hard to properly document what took place. It will be easy for certain people to rewrite history. Dont let them.

i just had a dream that i was the adopted son of those fucking guys in hannibal and ive never watched any of the show but basically i was stuck in the back seat of the van because we were moving again because according to the one that looks eternally tired (will?) ‘apparently dad doesnt know when the proper time to kill someone is’ and i watched them bicker like divorced parents and I go ‘what the hell is it you guys do for work again’ and the car went dead silent before the cannibal guy goes ‘eat your subway flynn’
