this may be very controversial but...
i think that in the scene when aegon and helaena meet on the stairs after jaehaery's funeral, he doesn't ignore her. i think he just doesn't know how to behave, how to comfort her after this huge loss. no one taught him what to do in such a situation, so he just walks away, feeling the pain that accompanies her.
later, when he needs comfort, he doesn't find it because his mother doesn't know how to do it, not taught because otto never showed it. the circle closes
ok minor geek things that we all need to pay attention to and praise include:
a) the END CREDITS ART oh my goodness it’s beautiful and every time I see it I feel like I’ve just finished a movie. legitimately so colourful and rich and creative 100/10
b) the score!! bear mcreary coming in clutch with that score, and he’s worked on the walking dead, outlander, agents of shield, all these other video games, and has won emmys for it— AND has worked with my king my lord my saviour HOZIER (please please rick I’m begging you to include a hozier song in season 2 PLEASEEEE) so you know he’s legit— so that they got him on this is amazing and he also nailed it as always, the score really adds to the suspense

I love how s2 of Andor shows us how all the sacrifices the Imperial characters make for the Empire are ultimately worthless. Syril, Dedra, and Partagaz all have different variations on the same ending. and to them Krennic is the big bad guy who represents the Empire but then in Rogue One we learn that essentially he’s in the same situation: giving everything to the Empire and it amounting to nothing in the end.
