September 9, 2022 - September 16, 2022
I spent so long working on this assignment at the beginning of the semester that my parents got concerned about me taking art when i should be studying to master my other classes đđ
Gr12 assignment where our teacher told us to all bring a random object to school (for unknown reasons), and then revealed that we're doing a project where we have to draw that object multiple times using 3 art movement styles.
Bottom-up the movements are:
German Expressionism
Cubism
Impressionism
Had a lot of fun making this. The german expressionism was a hoot, but I just love using inks. I hated doing the impressionism one, though. I just didn't like how it was turning out/turned out, and me and my teacher agree that it's not really an impressionistic style. They be using colours in crazy ways that I hadn't unlocked at the time.
India ink, watercolours and acrylic paint on mixed media paper

The fated gr11 still life.
This took so long. So, so long. Started it at school, but did the majority during the winter break. Was several days of me hunched over this in the basement slaving over it for the whole day. Put movies/shows on in the background, and all of 'the witcher' passed before I finished this đ
Pencil and charcoal on paper
~November 2021
Just some line of action drawings in my sketchbook for gr11 art
Pencil on paper
I am in my art class now, my forth year written examination of art got over.. After two weeks I came to my art class.. It is my happy place... Here I do the thing which I love. I have never said no to my art classes just because it is my comfort place...
A cute little girl is sitting in front of me, scribbling in her drawing pad which made me think of me when I used to do such things.. Some other kids are shouting and talking which made me think of me as a kid who used to talk continuously and disturb my sir... Sir is nice, cool too.. Happy place I told you...
Some kids have become grown ups.. They are taking advice from me regarding art works.... Made me feel proud..
Some kids are running around and playing with their drawing.... (Sir is not in the room so critical scenario) They will get scolding for sure...
This current situation made me think of this song.. (Not relatable at all... don't blame me, blame my brain...)
Gang, trying to start tomorrow, for my visual arts final kinda thingy we gotta make a sculpt of something by reusing trash/wasted materials
I want to do the Norris Spider-Head and I shall not be taking no for an answer for the next 2 or so weeks of this assignment... Anyone have any ideas?
Biblically Accurate angel Rock
Brass wire, googly eyes, and Rock
Nastyâ˘ď¸ lemon
Painted clay
3D art piece inspired by ancient ruins. It's supposed to be abstract though.
It's just painted foam
Abstract piece made of some junk from the building my 3D class was in.
The prompt was Line, and I wanted to represent the idea of something colorful and chaotic/free getting constrained.
The materials are: a wooden picture frame, chicken wire, metal screws, painted popsicle sticks, yarn, painted twine, and hot glue.
Face reveal?? :0 last assignment for the semester was profile self portraits so here it issssss
Charcoal drawing of my grandmother's backyard for class.
18" x 24"
Drawing assignment focused on value, based on a paper model of a name! 18" x 24" on toned paper with black and white pastel pencils.
Couple of assignments from my drawing class. Both are done in graphite.
Piece o' popcorn for drawing class, cause why not
Are there any specific references you use while drawing? i can never seem to find anything good :/
you have to pay for these (which i think is more than fair considering all the different angles etc) but i usually use some from cubebrush for studies! JookpubStock also has free ones very often
got an ask recently about the way my digital art looks like traditional, so I tried to explain the steps on my self portrait, feat. some of my favorite artists and favorite brushes. sorry if it's incoherent, I'm not used to explaining my process besides "I've been professionally studying traditional art for half my life and I'm really bad at technology so I just paint digitally the way I do on paper"
