And Finally got to post! (Due to technical difficulties)
BSD AU!— “Old Kings on a New Chessboard”
Or— If Fyodor’s plan was successful and all Ability Users where wiped out off the face of the earth… with a few exceptions…
——————————
The story here is that somehow Fyodor got to the Book and erased all Ability Users out of existence.
(Whenever something is written in The Book, everything is transported into whatever was written about– an example being that if someone had died in the real world, someone could writing a story about how that never happened and that the person who had died wasn’t died, and through that everybody would be brought into a world were that had happened and that person didn’t die. Like how it goes in BSD!BEAST with Oda being alive.).
So everyone is transported to another world where all the ability users start to disappear after the wish is made.
So pretty much every in the ADA is gone, including Dazai (who even though is powerful and Ability is nullification to all abilities— The Book isn’t a Ability and has more power than him so he’s gone) and Ranpo (who was killed by Fyodor’s hand trying to stop it from happening).
Everyone with an ability in the PM, The Guild, The Special Division, Hunting Dogs and very much anyone with an ability is gone— yes including Fyodor.
So everyone is gone…. Or so it was though…. Because Atsushi was called the “Antithesis of all Special Abilities”, he is the opposite of abilities. And with his connection to the Book/ being the Bookmark– he isn’t affected by this and to his absolute horror, still reminds as the only one left with everyone he knows and loves, where people with abilities, are all gone.
He failed..
He’s alone again….
And it’s his greatest fear, being alone like how he was back in the Orphanage. He’s losing it, the presser of it all finally broke the camel's back and no matter how many pages he tries to fill in the Book, the pages all stranded with ink, blood and tears, nothing can reverse the damage Fyodor had done.
No one was coming back…
He really is alone…
And then he hears someone coughing.
Turning around he sees a Knight whose armour was crafted out of cloth, whose eyes are so different from before but now– piercings into their soul, he sees familiarity within them.
He’s still here.
Akutagawa was still here. How?
(I’ll come up with somethings later— maybe because he was the last of the vampires to still be under Bram Stoker’s control after the end of Season 5, Bram had brought him back to life and now Akutagawa is now a vampire living with a new purpose to protect the princess and something something I’ll write later he’s still here and his memories are back.)--- Quick side note I made this all before chapter 119 was even up, so everything up until now was from 2024. But as the new chapters start coming information would be changed– so now we know how Aukagawa got his memories back, 121.5 kills me!
By Akutagawa’s side was a 10 girl that had, 2 hours ago when stopping the vampire apocalypse was all that needed to worry about, saved the world. Now her clothes are covered with rubble, face scared with scrap marks as tears tail down her cheeks. She's holding on to Akuatagwa’s hand like a lifeline as she takes in what had happened with a haunting expression.
She looks around, trying to find the other members of the Agency or at the very least other people beside the 3 of them that would answer her questions that she couldn’t voice. Akutagawa looks at him with the same expression he had given him the day he had found out that The Headmaster had died, a look assigned to pity, of understanding, of so many different emotions that it had no real name or definition…
Atsushi felt like throwing up.
“Where.. Where did everybody go?.. Did we win? Mister Detective? What Happened?... What do we do?” The girl asked with a quiver in her voice. Akutagawa held her hand tighter to offer comfort– whether it was for him or her, they didn’t know but that was all that could be done at the time…. After all..
This wasn’t their world anymore…
This wasn’t their home anymore….
They lost…
Atsushi finally broke. Just like Fyodor had wanted 2 hours earlier. He let out a cry as the realization had finally settled in.
He had lost.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
30 years later.
Atsushi ,now in his late 40s (48 years old), is the President of the Armed Detective Agency– though it was not by his own choosing.
He would have very much had took a page or two, hell the whole book, of Dazai’s “Complete Guide to Suicide” just to be with the others. But being one of the 3 or so ability users left in the world and the last member of the Agency, he was forced to take the position by the remaining non ability members of the Special Division and Government barely a week after everyone was gone to stabilize the public after the vampire apocalypse and answer whatever had happened that rid the world of all it’s ability users.
Now for 30 years, he had been tasked to keep the promise of the Triple-Framework to keep Yokohama safe in the twilight. Though he would rather end it all and let it all burn, Atsushi takes up the mantle because this place still holds the memories of his family and keeping the Agency and what it stands for going is the only thing keeping him alive in hopes to find a way to bring his family back.
While there may be no ability users left, they were called the ARMED Detective Agency, so many of the new gen members are skilled in using firearms to protect the public from any threats that come their way. From unsolved cases that the police could solve, to fights against the Port Mafia, Atsushi and the next generation of Detectives protect Yokohama from the darkness that still wishes to swallow them whole.
Speaking of the Port Mafia, Akutagawa (now in his early 50’s) leads with an iron fist as the Boss of the Port Mafia. Being the only ability user left and the last of the higher ups with the old Boss Mori, all the Executives and Black Lizard gone, he took up the mantle to control the underworld and nights of Yokohama so that the Mafia does lose its power or its control.
With Bram Stoker's Vampire ability still active even after his Death, Akutagawa has enough power to control the non-ability vampire mafia members into being the immortal army to protect the mafia and Yokohama. Sadly that didn’t include his sister who had died from a bullet to the skull during the end of the apocalypse. With his memories back and the last order given to him by the Vampire King, Akutagawa finds his purpose in protecting the city and the princess that were left behind in the aftermath.
The temporary truce between the Agency and the Mafia became a proper allices as the last two ability users work together to protect whatever remains of their home.
That is until Atsushi finds the answer they’ve been looking for inside The Book.
Erasing Fyodor’s Wish.
It sounds easy and simple on paper but in actuality it means to destroy the entire non-ability world, all the living beings that rest inside it, atom by atom, and return back to a point in time in the real, original world and never let what had happened happen. It also doesn’t help that the process of removing the wish entirely would have a better chance of destroying everything instead of turning back time.
But in the end Atsushi, Akutagawa and Aya (who i’ll refer to as the “A Squid” in the future) decide to take that chance to return to their friends and family and end Fyodor once and for all. With the Tiger Claws, Atsushi rips out Fyodor's wish and Akutagawa has Rashsoman eat it. The world collapses on itself as the wish no longer keeps it together and everything goes dark……
……. The A Squid wakes up, two in their bedrooms that existed long in the past and the other in a cage in a time long gone. All 3 noticeably younger, 9, 17 and 19.
They did it.
Their back in their world, back in the past!
1 year before everything fell apart.
But 1 year to prepare for the war that was to come.
And this time, the Rat wouldn’t know what hit him.
Because now, these Older Kings take their place in this new game of Chess.
I love the fact that the first day of pride month started with a new bsd chapter and a new trailer of bsd s5
The Great Old One is being held captive by the children. (He's just a little shocked)
what dying once does to a mf 😞
JUST TO CLARIFY, yes I did read the chapter the day it came out! I just haven't had the time to draw anything for it until now lol
BSD and all its characters belong to Kafka Asagiri
Art belongs to me!
The reason why this question comes up is because Fukuchi is built up very heavily, as an incredible fighter and as a big boy villain. In comparison, Aya is a self described incredibly average girl with no special traits. So the question goes, how did Aya outsmart Fukuchi?
1. Fukuchi isn’t actually built up to be smart. Fukuchi is strong as hell, he is the perfect soldier, he can take down armies, he is Fukuzawa’s equal or greater. But he has never won because he was particularly clever. He wins because he has the overpowered weapons, the element of surprise, and a very good ability (+hunting dogs surgeries). This is not to undermine his overwhelming combat prowess but he is just a little stupid! Do not be fooled by his confusing time shenanigans! This man is more himbo than you think.
You can skip to the next reason but I don’t want to sound like I’m making unbased claims so here is why I think he’s (as stated) a little stoop:
In his first ‘battle’ we see he almost frees his own prisoner, his second battle he wins because of time shenanigans (where at the end he is outsmarted, if by chance), he mistakes a tracking device for a flash drive, he didn’t foresee being found out by Ranpo despite knowing the ADA, he is bested by his own subordinate in battle and again only wins because of time shenanigans, this is a small one but he literally monologues his plan! Bitch what if that tracking device was also a recorder!! Old man doesn’t understand technology. His own subordinate who he expected to betray him gets a hit on his neck, and even after beating said subordinate he didn’t even know then that there was anyone else was in the room, and etc.
2. The encounter of outsmarting was very short, probably under a minute in between Fukuchi finding out someone was in the room, and Fukuchi being called away. I have no doubt that if there were any more time Aya would be dead, but great luck was on her side, very simply.
3. If during his whole fight with Jouno he didn’t realize Aya was there, then him not realizing Aya was in the coffin isn’t that unlikely. Especially since the sound of breathing and rustling would just sound like Bram. Even with the heightened hunting dog senses he isn’t Jouno, he can’t parse different heartbeats.
4. This ties into the first, but he is used to high combat situations. He is not used to these types of encounters (he has subordinates for the grunt work of killing witnesses) so non-head on fights would catch him by surprise. Aya’s moves are so simple that that is what claims her victory in the end.
All of these are theoretical but I find Fukuchi’s constant running into small evil plan inconveniences situation to be hilarious, which is beautiful because it’s even more surprising then that he’s actually the closest to taking over the world and doing the most damage any character ever has. Fukuchi as a villain is Fyodors opposite, where Fyodor has the all encompassing vibe of having everything planned out, Fukuchi has small issues constantly stopping him. While Fyodor commands total respect from his subordinates, 3/4 of Fukuchi’s have gone against his plan in some way (two directly betraying him). Where Fyodor killed nobody noteworthy, Fukuchi has killed 3 well established strong characters. Fukuchi being bested by a 10 year old is the biggest highlight of their differences: where Fyodor’s plans are a graceful sword slash, Fukuchi’s plans are a bashing mallet.
What if Aya Koda from Bungou Stray Dogs got transported to Twisted Wonderland.
I’m placing it under the cut in case any twst fans are also in the bsd but is not caught up to the manga as there will be spoilers for chapter 93.
When Aya was first summoned and was out of the coffin she kicked Grim and then ran away from the room for the exit. When Crowley dose find her she also tries to kick him, he almost gets kicked.

Ace: Aya there are many other ways to die that are less pain full!
Aya: What it’s just Tsunotarou!?!
Vil: I don’t know if your dumb or just naïve. That is the dorm leader Diasomnia and prince of the Valley of Thorns Malleus Draconian.
Aya: Your a prince!
Malleus: So do you know fear me?
Aya: No. I’ve had a bomb attached to me before and someone that was trying to kill me.
———
No one believes any of her stories as if it didn’t happen, but yes all of them did happen to her.
Lilia: Aya your stories are really interesting.
Sebek: Non fiction stories are always fun to hear!
Aya: They all are very real! I have memories of them!
Lilia: *pats her head* It’s ok dear child.
Aya: *talks about them again making sure people believe her*
———
Aya’s justice and stubborn makes her get stuck in problems and drama that is not her business. Teachers are use to seeing her in the office explaining why she punched a student or being praised by uncovering a scandal.
———
The students and teachers got tired of hearing the same stories as Aya claims them to be real. So she told them let’s go through her memories, so they did.
Memory Aya: *has a bomb attached to her ticking down*
Kunikida: *stops the train bomb runs and hugs Aya as the bomb goes off*
The smoke slowly disappeared to show the two with only distorted clothes.
Kunikida: With Yosano the armed detective agency is invincible, you also forgot to read my calendar.
Riddle: So the bomb story happened to you!
Aya: See I told you all that it happened!
Lilia: Oh my so there is a huge chance the military scandal did happen.
Jouno & Fukuchi: *Fight and talking about world domination*
Jouno then is defeated and gets bitten, after he is dragged away Aya takes a photo of the coffin and Fukuchi with her phone, the flash was on catching Fukuchi’s attention.
Aya: *running and hiding some where as Fukuchi tries to find her to kill her*
Silver: Oh...!
Leona: A fucking mad man tried to kill you while taking over the world!
Aya: Yes and I help prove it was him to the world!
Vil: No wonder why you are so fearless.
———
After seeing all the stories are true Diasomnia now welcomes Aya to help train her fighting skills as her putting her life on the line will most likely happen again.
