I don't understand the people who think that the point of Death Parade was guessing the judgement of the dead people.
It's a show about celebrating life, about the need of understanding of each other, about people you'll meet and then be separated from and how even if you'll never see them again this connection mattered and will change you.
Like don't you realize that the judgement themselves bring change to Chiyuki and then Decim?

When I tell you this anime has me in a death grip...
I recently watched Death Parade after Instagram showed me a reel of animes you could binge in a night (spoiler it took me two days but that's okay) and it almost made me cry twice.
i totally haven't already made my Sona a death parade au nooo not at all........ I need more are of her immediately.
I really want to watch Mob Psycho (heard great stuff about it from a friend), Yuri on Ice (can’t be a real bl fan without watching this) and Death Parade (seems interesting), but I am aware that I will need lots of time to be able to enjoy them. The next few weeks will be hectic for me because the semester is almost ending. And despite having no classes for the next three days, I have a shit ton of asynchronous assignments. I’m procrastinating right now, but even I must start working by later. It pains me, but I have to save these shows for Christmas break.
Just a short rant...

Death Parade was a bit uneven as a show but had incredibly powerful episodes that went straight under your skin. This scene was a masterpiece but it had many of those. The stand alone episode Death Billiard is a good starting point. The show is no longer on Netflix as far as I can tell but I think it is on Crunchyroll and can also be bought on Amazon.
