I'm a detective in a noir film but instead of taking a drag from a cigarette to appear mysterious, I'm taking slow drags of an inhaler.
Witnesses in murder mysteries: yeah sure i can tell you everything about that waiter helping me out a couple of years ago who had nothing special about them whatsoever other than being Extremely Important To The Whole Plot
Also witnesses in murder mysteries: i think i saw someone?? I suppose it was… a person? but i’m not sure? It was so, so dark and i am so, so nearsighted… But i saw them sometime around six or seven, or maybe eight, even closer to nine… I don’t know, all the clocks in this house are wrong and i don’t give a damn about time or space or anything really... I do hope you catch the murderer tho

Roderick Doyle and Professor John Winston thinly veiled parodies of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson, find themselves taking on the Vampires in this strange 70s comic story.
Ah just completed first book of Cut and run series and I'm so much in love with Special agents Ty and Zane. It was a balance of mystery and sizzling romance. Heck of a thrilling and emotional ride, it was. Highly witty and addictive and great character development on Zane's part.
Enjoyed the writing, and the authors' plans to sidetrack readers from guessing the identity of the culprit was truly remarkable.
I rate it 5/5💗💕💗
