I saw a trend on tiktok where you show who you think would be ghost face and let’s just say I have quite a few in mind for Criminal Minds. My main is Spencer & Emily, and Hotch & Elle. Also, Garcia, Emily, and Spencer all together as a trio is a cool thought.

I'm bored and for some reason a video of Riverdale appeared on tik tok and I thought, how would the criminal minds team be like the Riverdale characters? So here you have me with my opinion of who would take the place of the other

Hotch = jughgead jones (may be heavily influenced by the fact that they are both my favorite characters)

Morgan = archie andrews (I have no proof, but also no doubts)

JJ = Betty cooper

Emily = veronica lodge

Reid = kevin keller

Rossi = FP jones

Gideon = Sheriff Keller

Elle = cheryl blossom (don't ask why, I don't know either)

This makes me cry every time I watch it. Miss Spencelle so much! ☹️

The Boogeyman

You know what I like about this episode? Spencer kept bringing up Elle on their case, he brought her up 3 times. Logically I know it’s because he was the only one that got her to talk about how she was feeling, he knew she still thought about what the fisher king had done to her, but he truly cared. When Spencer told Derek that he spoke to Elle, that she was drinking, Derek dismissed it, not waiting for Spencer to explain himself more.

I also believe that, even if Elle wasn’t the one going undercover for the William Lee case, she would have cracked sooner or later on another rape case because of her confession to Hotch. She told him she wasn’t the same person anymore ever since she got shot in her home. During the case, Elle was on edge and she yelled at the woman leading the case saying that someone could still get raped inside, and Derek witnessed that but thought nothing of it. I’m pretty sure he thought it was classic Elle behavior but I truly believe that if it was Spencer instead of Morgan, Spencer would have known it was because of what they talked about in the hotel.

I love Elle, and she was all alone when she was shot, the obviously affected her. Even if Anderson did stay with her, it wouldn’t have been the same because nobody on the team was with her. All Elle ever wanted was to be part of the team. If Hotch was the one that gave her the ride home and stayed with her when she got shot, or Derek, or anyone part of the BAU, things would have been totally different.

ANYWAY, Spencelle had potential, just saying. But so did Hotchaway because of the way Hotch tried to comfort Elle in this episode.

The Fisher King

I am currently rewatching Criminal Minds and you know how in season 2 Elle tells Hotch that the last time he sent her home, she got shot? If anything, Gideon got Elle shot for deciding to hold a press conference to ID the delivery guy.

It didn’t matter of Elle stayed in the bureau or went home because the fisher king was already in her apartment, waiting for her to come in. And he was only there because Gideon had JJ hold a press conference, getting outside help, something he was clearly not supposed to do, there were rules!

I love Elle Greenaway, she’s my Latina queen since her mother is Cuban (something i recently rediscovered on my rewatch), but she should have blamed Gideon, not Hotch. Like Hotch was against Gideon calling a press conference too! Elle didn’t deserve that AT ALL, my poor baby 😭

What’s also lowkey fucked up is that Hotch blamed himself for Elle being shot because he sent her home but Gideon didn’t blame himself for being the reason why she was shot for not following the rules? Didn’t he always say that most bosses feel guilty when he their employees are injured or killed? WHERE THE HELL WAS THAT WITH GIDEON?!? Im mad

“The press conference was the right thing to do, the unsub made a mistake, he left a partial print, Elle would/will understand” ARE YOU KIDDING ME, GIDEON?!?

So I'm watching Criminal Minds again (because I'm a whore for Rossi) (Don't judge)

Unless I've missed it Elle isn't brought up once after she leaves

I get Gideon was the Unit Chief of the BAU and a father figure in some ways but Elle was just as important

Rossi : Oh, we all did. We just decided to do it anyway.

Elle : I love when people are rude, because omg, no way ! My turn.

Ok but watching cm right after Elle shot the rapist guy is so annoying because everyone acts like what she did is so terrible and I'm like "??? What bad thing did she do???? Make a community marginally safer?????"

so yall know i'm a huge spencelle fan (if the username wasn't obvious), but i was discussing with a friend of mine, and she brought up a good point, saying if elle stayed, and emily never came into the picture, elle and spencer probably would have the same kind of relationship and emily and spencer actually have in the show.

so yes, i am picturing elle and spencer interactions in places where emily and spencer were in (like emily confessing she was the agent so she'd take the beating, etc)

im gonna make one thing very clear: im 100% a down bad lesbian like the biggest emily, tara, elle, and jj dick rider...however

spencer reid can hit it WHENEVER WHEREVER AND HOWEVER

Something that really gets to me about Hotch is how patient he is with his team. You never really see him lose his temper with them, even when they lose his temper with him.

Morgan and Reid have both yelled at Hotch but both times he never yelled back, he just calmly told them he values them and that they are misunderstanding his intentions.

He revealed in season 5 that he does his team’s case summaries most of the time so that they can go home when they are meant to, meaning he is always in the office.

He always lets Garcia do her silly bits because he knows it’ll make her day better, and sometimes he will even indulge her by joining in.

He put everything on the line by keeping Reid’s addiction a secret and by not telling anyone about what Elle did.

He did everything he could to protect Emily when her life was in danger.

When a member of his team says they need a break or they need to step away, he never forces them to carry on, he is so completely understanding of their needs and genuinely values their mental well-being.

I just love him so much, he was such a perfect leader
