'Dee has a Spacehey account'

YES.

(I agree with most of these headcannons!! Even if I don't, I still respect them (◡ ω ◡))

autism rambles

headcanons i yapped to a friend (@herconfuse im so sorry buddy)

theres a shit ton, some tdas but most are metal family. also these are copy pasted from spacehey, in parts cause i hit the character limit. four times. if some make more sense reading them as a dm, thats why. im so autistic about this show bro.

tw for various types of abuse when talking about glam and his backstory and family, also superrr limited mention of sh there too

theres probably gonna be another part to this at some point

tdas: - mal acted like a villain for the show bc fans enjoy drama and on my LIFE chris is rigging votes based on fan popularity and who he personally likes. so mal was just being overdramatic so he could stay on longer. two steps ahead frfr (ok nikocado pack it up /silly) - vito x anne maria. idc that the show tries to make her look bad, those two are so cute and systems can date different people bro - mike x zoey, obv, but also svetlana x zoey. shes poly for her partner sys ur honor. also, bi zoey. and super supportive singlet zoey. idk i love zoey sm shes so sweet - dawn is pagan, probably works with gaia or some other version of mother earth - cameron is autistic as hell bro thats not even a headcanon thats basically canon atp. that boy has so much tism in him - B is transmasc (yes this is tdroti not tdas. shush.)

metal family: - i think dee listens to white girl music sometimes - he picked it up from ches, who would blare 2000s white girl bangers to annoy his mom during fights - gustav has been to prison and had his record cleared via shady payoff to the govt - mary was married to gustav via some sort of arranged marraige (possibly a forced taxes and traditional conservative values thing cause he absolutely would [i hate gustave with a passion]) - gustav died believing that glam got fully possessed by the devil during that one scene - glam gets nightmares about his dad and/or about becoming like his dad and hurting his wife and kids. his sleep schedule is still ass to this day - nobody knows the full extent of glam's childhood, not even ches - ches probably assumed glam's scars were self inflicted due to location, and he hasnt asked to clarify bc he doesnt really know how - hes absolutely noticed tho - lif and dee consider the rat their adopted son and his theme song is rats by ghost since they both canonically like that band - heavy prefers the metallica version of enter sandman, dee likes the ghost cover better - vicky listens to viking metal and aggressive sea shanties - glam would love chappel roan - ches would love sabrina carpenter - dee would unironically like taylor swift and would tell NOBODY - dee is not only a brony (canon), but also a furry. he has a fursona and a ponysona - dee would be a reality shifter but he doesnt believe it exists - dee does NOT like cats. heavy absolutely loves them. lif likes them, but also draws gore of them (not in an edgy way but she thinks the biology is neat and has an art style where it works) - lif sits in graveyards in her spare time

metal family part 2: - heavy is a theistic satanist, dee is an atheist (canon), lif is an atheistic satanist but likes theistic satanism quite a bit, glam is an atheist, vicky is a norse pagan, ches is in tune with the universe and just calls himself "spiritual, not religious" - dee writes fanfic - i love headcanons where dee is just an absolute fucking nerd cause its SO ACCURATE bro that boy is a GEEK - dee knows the basics of chemical warfare from his chemistry phase - he could and absolutely would nuke someone if he had good reason

metal family part 3: - dee is a controlled pyromaniac - dee steals from big businesses and never from small/independent ones, he taught heavy who only steals food (candy, drinks, etc) bc anything else makes him feel guilty - dee has a spacehey account - hes also very active on the dark web, and holds a paywall on hacker services for people - he has sent things to people who wanted him to hack for shitty reasons. by things, i mean animals. not alive ones. also, small pipe bombs that arent quite deadly but will still hurt pretty damn badly - dee will jailbreak people's school devices, for a fee - hes such a con artist except hes not cause he actually pulls through - his stalker thing with lif was purely genetic, idk how but it was (see: glam stalked vicky too) - both relationships are super healthy tho dwdw - heavy cant work the internet without dees help, but is very active online where hes allowed to be - dee is a dipper personality type, heavy is a mabel personality type, and lif channels bill cipher without the,, yknow,, pure insanity - that one pink haired girl whos name i cant remember is super nice but super sheltered from alt subcultures and queer people, think caitlyn from my creative writing class (ik you dont know her)

metal family part 4: - lif had a dsmp phase and was an e girl in 2020 - she also has a scene phase shortly after - goth isnt her only style but its def her main and shes super good at the makeup and also the dancing - heavy would pierce someone for enough money - dee would give people tattoos at school for money, but he refuses to do stick and poke so he cant (doesnt have a machine) - lif draws art commissions online - dee and lif are both huge creepypasta enjoyers and have loads of ocs - heavy knows the basic ones (jeff the killer, toby, ben drowned, etc) - heavy and dee would write and produce films with shitty production quality thatre somehow really good and post them on youtube - dee takes college level classes and is aiming for his two-year by graduation (omg look its ollie projecting onto his fav characters again) - glam is pan, dee is demiromantic ace, heavy is straight as a fucking board, vicky is straight but was bicurious at one point cause lesbians absolutely love her (anna has a one sided crush one her rip), ches is gay but doesnt date much anyways, lif is bi with a preference for girls (although technically she has a preference for dee) - lif had a pink and girl phase in elementary, complete with the justice and claires stuff - lif is a demigirl (our lif is transfem i think iirc)

Wait.

Imagine Dee died in a fire, that he started in a rundown abandoned building, and it collapsed and went up in flames. Dee didn't come home that morning, ofc the family was worried and everything, and once the police were able to investigate the building, they found his DNA.

It was right beside a big pile of concrete and medal from where the building fell, and supposably under it as well. They thought that he got caught under it and then died, the fire getting rid of what was left of his body.

So, he was trapped and burned alive.

But what really happened, is that he got stuck but managed to escape- not without burning half his body though. When he got out he was in excruciating pain, then proceeded to pass out. Somehow, he woke up before the cops could get there and went to another building he knew no one would look in.

Trying to pull out his phone, he saw that it was unable to be recovered, and he honestly doesn't know how he's survived, but he did. When he was walking, he heard the news report.

Knowing he was presumably dead, he has a fuck ton of more freedom. Run. Was what came to his mind first. Start a whole new life. Was what followed it.

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

(Part 4 - Final)

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Masterlist

When Dee returned to his room after speaking with his parents, and ignoring Heavy's questions, he layed on his bed thinking things through.

He was starting to feel guilty that he was putting so much blame on y/n when he didn't know their side of the story. Perhaps he really had offended them?

After taking a nervous breath, he decided to message y/n again, to hopefully clear the air. It occurred to Dee that he was so obsessed with getting positive feedback from them, when he hadn't once complimented their ideas... and he had to admit they were good ideas.

So here he was, typing another message, praying it would get through to them.

Hey y/n, just wanted to let you know, I think your ideas are actually pretty awesome and this project wouldn't be half as good without them. I know I don't say it, but you're smart and you've put so much great work into this project. I just wish I could hear your thoughts on my idea? I would actually appreciate hearing your opinion

Dee hated how vulnerable and mushy it sounded, but knew it was all true, so with a last breath of courage he hit send. After a small pause, he typed another short message, just to seal it up.

And I'm really sorry if I acted like too much of a bitch

Send.

And now Dee waited. Again.

-

Dee woke up bright and early for school the next day. All was fine until he saw his phone. Still no reply! Dee was really pissed now. He'd tried so hard to be sincere, and they weren't even trying to cooperate! As much as Dee wanted to feel angry, he felt dejected more than anything. Which bugged him, because he really shouldn't care this much.

As he left for school, he had a determination to find y/n and ask them why the fuck they've been ignoring him. No more compliments and nice words, they threw that chance away. Now he wanted answers.

When he arrived, he immediately scanned the halls looking for them. Seeing them by their locker, he approached with his prominent-as-ever bitch face.

Y/n jumped when they turned and saw him, startled by seeing him. Dee was just about to start ranting, when y/n beat him to the punch.

"Dee! I've been meaning to talk to you." They started, not seeming annoyed, or ready to laugh at him, so he held his tongue and waited for them to continue. "You haven't by any chance found my phone at your place? I've been searching for it all weekend, and I only thought this morning that I might have left it at yours."

Dee didn't know how to process this new information. He always knew there was a possibility that they just misplaced their phone, but he had been so consumed with thoughts of them rejecting his ideas, he hadn't truly thought of that being the case. He suddenly felt a little self conscious, both at the way he had been acting all weekend, and the message he had sent them.

"Umm, no I haven't seen it, but I haven't exactly been looking for it, so..."

Y/n huffed a little, thinking before asking, "Do you mind if we work on the project at yours today? I could keep an eye out for my phone as well."

Internally, Dee was panicking. Why? He wasn't too sure. There were many reasons, but all he knew was that them coming over today meant finally discussing his idea, and he was nervous to actually hear what they thought after all the suspense. But he didn't have a good excuse, so he said to meet him outside the school like always, at the end of the day.

-

Walking back to his house, his steps in sync with y/n's, he was quiet, and slightly anxious. He had been all day, and he'd tried hard in vain to delete his message. For some absurd reason, he couldn't. Dee was good with technology, so given some time and a clear head, it wouldn't have been a problem. But during school, Dee had neither of these things.

Dee could only hope at this point that y/n doesn't find their phone. How ironic.

When they arrived at Dee's house, he ushered them inside, hoping to avoid seeing his parents. He didn't want them asking questions, considering his conversation with them yesterday. That would be the cherry on top of embarrassment.

"So, any new ideas?" y/n questioned after taking their usual spot on his desk chair.

Dee took a shaky breath readying himself to finally share his idea. "Actually, yeah, I think it's a decent idea, but y'know, it depends what you think.." Dee was babbling, and already feeling embarrassed for how he was acting. But lucky for him, y/n was far away and not even listening.

"Hold that thought!" Y/n got up suddenly, crossed his room and picked up their phone off of one of his shelves. "Aha! I knew it had to be here!" They seemed so triumphant, they didn't notice Dee's rising panic. The message he sent them was still on their phone. And his time was up.

In a last ditch effort, he tried to distract them by speaking again, but they were already going through their notifications.

"Sorry, give me one sec just to check if any of these are important." They mumbled while seeming to discard most of what was on their screen. "Oh! Sorry I haven't been able to reply to you, had no clue you messaged me."

Dee leaped off the bed at that, trying to gain their attention. "You really don't have to read that! It's not important!" He practically plead, but they were already reading.

As y/n pored over his words, the heat in his cheeks grew, and he stood awkwardly in front of them, accepting his fate, and having no clue what to do.

Y/n read intently at his theory, and had an impressed look on their face by the end of it. But Dee couldn't read them, he had no idea what their expressions meant. Were they judging him? Trying to contain their laughter? Silently mocking him? Had they read everything, or only one line? He was in the dark.

Y/n was about to comment on how good his theory was and how they should use it, before they moved on to the next message.

Y/n's heart melted at the words. He had been so genuine and sincere, and seemed to really care about what they thought. Y/n never knew Dee had cared so much. Y/n's little smile grew tenfold, accompanied by a little chuckle when they saw the last message. Dee had been a bit of a bitch, and so had y/n, and for so long they had been rivals because of it. But y/n didn't care about that any more. They felt appreciated.

Y/n glanced up at Dee's cherry-red cheeks and giggled again, before hugging him tightly. Dee didn't know what he expected, but it wasn't this. But after a moment's hesitation, he slowly returned the hug.

After pulling back, y/n finally spoke, a light blush dusting their cheeks as well. "I think your idea's amazing... we should definitely use it, I mean, you're so incredibly smart, I don't know why you ever needed my confirmation!" They both chuckled at the last bit, but Dee looked at them with sincerity in his eyes.

"I care about what you think because you're so smart yourself, and maybe... maybe I wanted to know that you were impressed by my ideas, I just-! I just think you're kind of incredible, and didn't want to seem dumb."

Dee avoided eye contact for a moment, but after hearing no response, he chanced a look at them. After one brief second of eye contact, y/n moved forward and kissed him sweetly. His eyes went wide before he closed them and melted into their embrace. Y/n's hands snaked round his neck and their hand lightly twisted his long blond hair. His hands found their waist, and they stayed like that for a short second before pulling away breathless. The two were smiling like idiots.

No more words needed to be said, instead y/n sat down next to Dee on his bed - for the first time he noted, but was more than ok with it - and they laced their hands together, avidly talking about their project. Both of their ideas were spoken highly of, with many compliments and smiles given.

Y/n stayed long after they were done with the project, and the two talked about everything and nothing. Both were happier, even when it came for y/n to leave. And that's how they stayed. (There was also a lot more making out!)

-

A/N: ok, I'm super sorry this took so long, but this is finished now, and I'll try and get some one shots and requests completed! Also, I made this chapter gender neutral, and I'll update the others do they are too! I really hope everyone enjoyed, and thank you so much for over 1k reads, that's way more than I could have hope for!

Hope you have a great day/night,

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

(Part 3)

Part 1, Part 2

Masterlist

Dee and y/n had spent a few meetings working on their project, some at y/n's house, some at Dee's. As predicted, there'd been plenty of arguments, both trying to be the best and take the lead. But in the end, they both had to admit that the other had some pretty cool ideas, and they're presentation was shaping up to be a pretty damn good one.

But they're not actually going to admit that, obviously. And the arguments just kept coming. Neither would swallow their pride long enough to give good credit to the other - even when they knew they deserved it.

Sometimes one of them would come close to complimenting the other, having to build it up in their head first... then the other would ruin the moment with an asshole-ish remark, and they'd wonder why they ever thought to say something in the first place.

Then, something happened, and that changed. That caused their dynamic to change. That kinda made everything change, it seems.

It was a very slow build up. And it started with a text message.

-

Dee was up late, and an epiphany struck him about their project. It was a brilliant idea, really. He could've waited to bring up the idea in person, and played it cool, but he was actually quite proud of himself, and decided to text y/n at 12:04 at night instead. They were online seventeen minutes ago, it was likely they'd see it.

They didn't reply that night. Dee checked once again, and when he saw no reply, gave up and went to sleep - they were probably sleeping too.

The next morning, Dee woke up to see no reply, still. It was a Sunday, they were probably sleeping in late.

It was mid way through the day when Dee really began to get annoyed. Why weren’t they answering him? He knew they didn't get along, but this was strictly work-related, and they could at least begrudgingly work together for the sake of their grade.

They haven’t been this petty before, but surely after so many hours, they would've seen his message. But why are they ignoring him?! Maybe he pissed them off somehow? But what could he have said that's worse than what he says already? ...And that warrants ignoring the project that they care about just as much as he does? He just can't figure them out! Maybe that's why they frustrate him so much.

Everyone in the household was beginning to notice Dee's growing temper, and thin-wearing patience. While Glam decided to give Dee space, letting Dee come to him if he so wished, Heavy decided to constantly badger Dee, wondering what was bugging him so much. Victoria was curious on the inside, but didn't want to seem mushy, so decided to call on him each time he lashed out, but not push on the subject - he'd tell her if he wanted to.

But Dee kept it to himself. He didn't want to appear like he cared about y/n’s opinion. He doesn't. He just wants to get on with the stupid project. But they could at least show him they’ve read it! Even if they just say they'll discuss it in person, they should at least acknowledge it! But, y'know, it doesn't matter anyway. Who cares what they think?

Then Dee had another epiphany. What his message to them was a bad idea? What if it was stupid? What if they saw it, laughed at it, and decided to wait so they can laugh in his face? He read over the message again, and again, having thought this, and although he couldn't see any flaws in his theory, his insecurities and doubts were still there. What if it was something so dumb and obvious, he kept missing it?

It was then that the rest of his family became uneasy too. Dee was many things, confident being one of them. It was in his nature to be a bitchy teenager, so they weren't too bothered before, but now... now, Dee seemed anxious, and that didn't happen often. Glam and Victoria decided, if he didn't talk to them soon, they'd bring it up, make sure he's ok.

He didn't talk to them, naturally.

-

After dinner, Dee started to get up and leave, as per usual, with it being Heavy's turn to wash the dishes.

"Dee," Glam called, and Dee glanced back, "can you sit back down for a moment please, your mother and I were hoping to have a word." Dee groaned dramatically, but sat down anyway.

Upon seeing Heavy slow his movements, and lean back an inch, Victoria called out to him. "Hey! Heavy, scram!"

"No dishes?" He questioned hopefully.

"No, leave 'em, just go to your room." Heavy dropped the dish he was holding rather harshly, making a big splash in the sink full of water, but payed it no mind. He gave a little 'yesss' while punching the air slightly, then ran off before she changed her mind. While Heavy would love to eavesdrop and know what his parents were saying to Dee, getting out of chores was much better.

Glam and Victoria shared a small look, silently deciding who would be the first to speak, while Dee just looked on with his resting bitch face, expectantly.

"Dee," Glam started, evidently losing the battle (not that he minded, he just wanted to give Victoria the chance to speak first, should she want it) - "we just wanted to ask, if everything's been ok lately?"

Before Glam could continue, Dee got instantly defensive. "Of course it is, why wouldn't it be? I'm fine." He got up to leave again, but was sat back down by his mother's glare.

"Dee, we're concerned." Glam continued. "You've been acting strangely lately, more on edge, like something's bothering you. We just want you to know that you can talk to us, with no judgment."

"Yeah!" Victoria piped up, as if just realising that she should probably say something reassuring as well. "If there's something really bothering you Dee, we won't criticise or make fun." A side glance from Glam made her huff slightly, but correct herself, "Ok, I won't criticise or make fun."

Dee looked apprehensive for a second, debating whether to talk to them. He decided it might be worth getting their opinion. He knew Glam would give his honest opinion on his theory, and if it's any good or not, and he could trust his mother to be honest about if he's overreacting to y/n's lack of response.

"Ok, fine, but I need you to be brutally honest with me... you too ma." Victoria visibly relaxed at that, knowing that it was her son's wish for her to be honest, without risk of hurting him.

"Ok, so, y'know the project I'm working on at school..."

-

By the time Dee had finished recounting everything, Glam looked with the same nonchalant gaze, and Victoria looked wildly confused.

"Dad, I was hoping you could look at my theory and make sure there's not something stupid I'm overlooking, I mean, what if there's a dumb mistake, and they’re just laughing at, and waiting to humiliate me, and..." Dee stopped himself, took a breath, and turned to his mother. "Ma, don't worry about all the other stuff, I just want you to tell me if I'm overreacting, and what you think y/n might actually be thinking here, cos I'm really lost, and, honestly, really pissed."

At this, Victoria visibly relaxed, and knowing her job was something capable, she instantly jumped to give her input.

"I'd say everything's fine! They probably can't be assed to do school work while they don't have to and will bring it up when you see them next, relax!"

Dee relaxed a little at her words, but was still nervous. He honestly didn't know why, y/n's opinion shouldn't matter so much to him. He just didn't want to seem dumb. He wanted them to see his intelligence. He just didn't know why.

Victoria saw that Dee still wasn't convinced, but wasn't really sure what she should say next. She was grateful when Glam pitched in after having read the theory that Dee had come up with.

"Well Dee, I must say, it's an excellent theory, no obvious issues. I agree with your mother, you're probably worrying over nothing. Perhaps they misplaced their phone over the weekend?"

Dee nodded slightly in acknowledgment, but couldn't get his mind to wrap around the fact that he was overreacting. Surely there was something wrong. Dee wouldn't get this anxious over nothing. All because of y/n's opinion! There's no way he cares that much.

"Dee, can I ask you something?" Glam asked cautiously. Dee glanced up as if giving permission, spurring him on. "Why are you in such a hurry to hear this person's response?"

Glam already had a feeling he knew the answer, and whether Dee knew it himself was another issue, but the way his face turned a light shade of pink confirmed Glam's suspicions.

Dee instantly got defensive, but that was likely because he didn't have an answer. "I don't know, I just- I just want to finish this stupid project, and their procrastinating isn't helping!" Dee spoke heatedly, and stormed out.

Victoria was about to snap something and call him back, but Glam put a hand on her arm, and filled her in on his thoughts.

-

A/N: ok, so I'll start off by saying, I'm so, so, so sorry that I took so long to write this! Also, I was hoping to finish this in this part, but it was already super long, and I didn't want to make it any longer, but I'll get the next part out a lot quicker now that I'm back in the swing of things. If you have any requests, feel free to leave them in the comments!

Have a great day/night,

Metal Family - Dee x Reader:

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

-

Summary: y/n and Dee never got along. Both were highly intelligent and competitive students. They always seemed to butt heads, but what neither knew was that they both secretly admired the other's traits, that they simply didn't have. It takes time for them to realise they're more similar than they thought. Dee x Reader

Masterlist

Y/n and Dee were at each other's throats, as per usual. Y/n got riled up easily, while Dee kept his witty, sarcastic remarks cool and collected. That's not to say he wasn't thoroughly annoyed - one more word and y/n knew he'd have a mini outburst, as aggravated people tend to do.

They both knew just how to push each other's buttons, and what the sure signs of victory were, knowing what got under the other's skin.

Anyone would tell you that the two were polar opposites. They would tell you that, past their common academic goals, the two had nothing in common. This wasn't true. They actually had many common interests, but neither ever paid enough attention to notice this, and everyone else only cared about the verbal battles rather than a possible make-up.

Y/n was high-strung and constantly stressed, Dee was calm, stoic, and collected. While Dee had a deep appreciation for art and music, he couldn't make them himself for shit, but to y/n, the arts came naturally as they often sketched and wrote music, playing in their band.

Y/n wanted Dee's ability to keep his cool, to not give a fuck about what people are saying, but not take shit all the same.

Dee wanted y/n's artistic skill, wanted to play instruments and read and write music, wanted to sketch and draw whatever came to mind.

In short, they were jealous of each other, and every time one of them bested each other in their common skill - knowledge, and academics - they took it hard, and personally, only fuelling their war.

-

All lesson, y/n and Dee had been fighting for the top spot in class, trying to answer more questions than the other, and trying to finish their work the quickest.

Their teacher was not dumb, and although he encouraged friendly competition, their rivalry had gotten out of hand.

That's right. It was partner project time!

When the teacher had announced a partner project, both were annoyed before they even knew the worst of it. Partner projects were annoying because it meant that they had to rely on someone else to help them get the grade they deserve, or end up doing twice the usual work alone.

It was then that the pre-chosen partners started to be announced... they listened and waited patiently for their names to be called.

It didn't take long for the outrage to settle in once their names were called together.

"Sir! You can't pair me with them!" Dee all but screamed across the room.

"The first and last time I'll ever say this, but I agree! We cannot work together!" Y/n hurriedly chimed in.

They teacher stopped reading off his list, anticipating this sort of reaction. "And why not?"

Dee sputtered for a minute with no good reason other than he didn't like them. It was times like this that y/n's stubborn and argumentative nature came in really handy.

"If you pair us together then our attitudes will clash and we won't be able to get anything done! If you pair with someone we're more compatible with, we're more likely to get better grades." Y/n shot back, fully expecting their argument to win.

They were, however, wrong. "Yes, but my prime goal is to prepare you for the real world. Sometimes you'll get paired with someone you don't like, and you'll have to make the best of it." Their teacher spoke carefully, words already prepared for their backlash. "Besides, you're both very bright students, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Now no more on the subject."

Y/n and Dee glared at their teacher one more time before finally giving up and stewing with rage in their seats.

-

When the lesson ended, Dee reluctantly went over to y/n. "Do you want study at your place or mine?"

Y/n eyed him cautiously. "Who says we have to study at either? We can always study in the library."

"No, because the library closes sooner, giving us less time. Not to mention, we'd probably get kicked out for screaming at each other after five minutes of work."

He had a point.

"Fine. We'll go to my place after school, meet me outside."

-

A/N: ok, I wasn't planning to, but I'm going to make this a two-parter, because it's already longer than I expected. Let me know what you think, and feel free to request!

Hope you have a great day/night,
