During The 1830s Cooper Designed The First Steel Chair In America, Which Was A Rocking Chair. Cooper

During the 1830s Cooper designed the first steel chair in America, which was a rocking chair. Cooper produced a functional, minimalist design radically different from the Victorian heavily decorated, ostentatious style of the time. Most rocking chairs had separate rockers fixed to regular chair legs, but Cooper’s chair used the curve of its frame to ensure the rocking motion.

Cooper’s chair was made of steel or wrought iron with upholstery slung across the frame. The model was manufactured at R.W. Winfield & Co. in Britain. The firm exhibited examples of the chair at the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations (Crystal Palace Exhibition) in 1851 and the Great London Exposition of 1862.

Made a cardboard octahedron with gears in all its faces, this is especial because with other figures the gears would not be able to turn while like this they can.

The typhoon turbine can withstand typhoon-force winds and convert the energy into electricity. Its inventor, Atsushi Shimizu, calculated that the captured energy from just one typhoon could power all of Japan for 50 years. Source

Do u think that we could invent a device operated with batteries which could like toast a bread between our hands when we hold it. Like I would hold the bread between my toaster gloves and somehow switch on the toaster glove and boom a toaster bread

"Flaking Knives".

The edge of the blade(s) continue to peel/flake away, which process causes the blade to expose a new, ever-sharpening edge line.

This process is finite, considering the limited functioning nature of the design.

"Recompressioned chamber":

It works similar to a turbo for engines.

Whereas this, more power is enabled per consumed/spent ammunition by reinforcing pressure via opened/closed valves/moving-parts which activate/deactivate based on a chambered and/or fired bullet that is entering/leaving the chamber/barrel.

This method can Greatly improve effectiveness whilst reducing the length of the firearms barrel.

BOWYNN GODS: TARM

BOWYNN GODS: TARM

Tarm  (Tarm)  Tarm is the Mammont [Mammoth] god of invention. Tarm and the other mammoth gods were created by Brea and her siblings, along with all animals and humans.

In the early days when the Giants ruled the world, Tarm was the giant of the winds and winter season. He brought on this season to let the earth rest and fertilize itself. This he did with Brea, his mother. But when the younger gods took over and the brothers of the winds were born, Tarm stepped down from this role, even though Tarm will accompany the god Arn in the winter. Tarm however remained with the Akua because he was a most wise god and would create inventions for the gods and later, he spent the Seven Sacred days with the first tribes and creating items they would need to survive. These inventions were items like brooms, rakes, hand mills and many other items needed to get by every day. Tarm is also the bestower of wisdom to create and discover, so Tarm’s role as a god is still vital.

Tarm is seen as an older god, grandfatherly, with wild long grey hair. His clothes are simple, earthly colored traveling robes and a wood staff in hand. In his totem form he is seen as a burly mammoth. All items are sacred and offered to Tarm.  Also gifted to Tarm is bowls of milk and woven fans, as well as votive images of mammoths.

Project Blue (@proj_blue) tweeted at 1:49 PM on Dec 04:

Interested in the science of imaging Earth-like #exoplanets? See this @reddit_AMA w NASA scientists doing just that:

Project Blue is a Kickstarter, crowd funding campaign to finance plans to build an orbiting telescope capable of imaging a planet in the AlphaCenturi star system, a first. No telescope, however large, has yet done that.

It will employ nested lenses capable of being focused by warping, and also of blocking the intense light of a star, 4.37 light years away, in order to see the dim planet.

So far, Kickstarter has received 1,000 donations, and that was the first number to tackle. Now Project Blue has gone beyond that.

It appears their next goal include building a starship that can get there in 40 years instead of 10’s of thousands. That’s would be at approximately 1/10 the the speed of light!

This starship may only include machinery, sensors computers and a radio, as well as propulsion and antenna, and not include people. Since it took 9.5 years for a conventional spacecraft to reach Pluto, the idea of a non-conventional positron-electron powered ship to reach the nearest star in 40 years is a real jump in propulsion invention and may have barriers to overcome. This idea of a new way is not uncommon in America, we invent news ways all the time. Kickstarter and Project Blue and are standing on the edge of reality, both in devices and present knowledge. Making Light With Electricity

According to WHO, indoor air pollution and related diseases kill more than 3 million people a year in developing nations. Much of this is due to open cooking fires, but a significant portion is caused by the of burning fuels in order to make light.

As much as we take it for granted, lots of people on this planet don’t have access to consistent electricity. Just think about that for a second. It might be more than a century old, that electric lighting in your house, but you’re very lucky to have it.

Children exposed to the smoke from burning fuels might as well be smoking 2 packs of cigarettes per day, in terms of the chemicals and smoke they’re exposed to. It’s a serious health concern. This is why I was doubly amazed by this video from Smarter Every Day (@smartereveryday).

A company called Gravitylight has invented a lamp that runs on gravity! Through an ingenious application of old science to a new problem, they’ve been able to harness a truly renewable power source to make people’s lives better.

Hey Gravitylight, here’s my message for you:
