What I wrote ten weeks ago in a post, here about how Sawyer felt about Jack when they were on the Island:
His school girl antics with Jack in the first seasons were just the manifestation of his crush in a way he himself couldn't grasp.
What I found yesterday: A French pop song from my youth (so the early 00's lol) sung by a then middle-school girl, to which the lyrics, when translated, say:

And I mean, there's no better way to express his way of acting with Jack. It's so on the nose it made me lol for a while when I realised the parallels.
It's giving I'll tease you, call you names, have you break up the fights I'm a part of, follow you around making dumb jokes you're not in the mood for, volunteer for every risky thing you're also a part of, kiss the girl you're obviously crushing on, get injured so you can help me, and if all fails, I'll actually ask you to play courtyard games with me for a while... anything.

The fact that no one on that island approached Jack for help only to immediately realize that he was on the verge of a panic attack is insane. They’re like ‘damn this leader guy is sweating profusely and nervously muttering about his commitment issues, I think I should ask him to help me on my horrifically dangerous side quest.’ The best part is he says yes every time.
The insanity of Lost is special because you don’t expect it. The trailers and plot make it look like a regular ass drama that you can just put on to chill out but no. The people are actually freaks, it’s actually the most cryptic and philosophical thing you’ve ever seen in your life. Want cool survival scenarios? WRONG. You get weird smoke monster
Funny how the least stable person on the island somehow became the unanimous leader. If I had to bet on which survivor I could most easily make cry in an argument it is without a doubt Jack. One well timed dad remark and my man is crumbling like a house of cards.
Haters will say Jack Shepard was unstable but I get him. I honestly think he should have crashed out more, I too would have lost my shit if I fumbled both Kate AND sawyer, like I would have genuinely blown that stupid ass island up

that whole inhaler situation was so.... 😕. sawyer is such a sad little man making multiple people put their efforts into getting him to give up smth that he knows he didn't have and then to try and spin it like "he had a bad childhood awwnn 🥺" i give absolutely no fucks abt his childhood and how he wants to be hated. he let shannon suffer and pushed people to act out of character and that kiss from kate... barf. all for what? and then he wants to get mad at kate for figuring out he wrote the letter because he decided to make bad life decisions.
