I finished The Acolyte and i noticed some things that really got me and made me go crazy over that I’ll share with you all cause why not
(Warning spoilers)
Ok first of all watching the finale for the second time made me realize even more things than I did the first time like how in the beginning osha said she had a vision of Mae holding a lightsaber but not using it with her hand outstretched killing Sol and originally I thought she meant when Mae is holding the saber and then throws it aside (and maybe I’m stupid for not realizing the first time)but then I realized that the vision is actually her killing Sol herself but she thought it was Mae and I thought that was really amazing
Also how she went to the planet to save sol but that was the very thing that led to his death ( which is also like almost an exact parallel of Anakin which is beautiful)
I thought it was really interesting how at the beginning both sisters are angry and struggling with what happened on Brendok and Mae chooses to hunt down and kill the Jedi as revenge and in anger and osha tries to bring Mae to justice but at the end when the whole truth comes out Mae refuses to kill Sol and wants him to be brought to justice and Osha is the one who kills him in cold blood out of anger which really shows how the sisters have switched places over the course of the show
(Which is mirrored by the way at the end it is Mae wearing Osha’s white clothes showing her turn to the light and justice while Osha wears Mae’s black clothes and gives into her anger)
Also I love how perfectly they set up her killing Sol like they specifically have her say that she failed at being a Jedi because she couldn’t control her negative emotions and couldn’t cope with what she’d lost and she was attacking Mae with clearly a lot of emotion and then when she finds out it was Sol and that he lied to her all this time she once again couldn’t control those emotions and ended up killing him even though he was her master and she went to the planet to save him
(Also adding on that they way she choked him as she was saying how much he loved her and the way he told her it was ok basically forgiving her as she was killing him I mean he obviously made a lot of mistakes but no one can deny how much he loved her which just makes his death so much sadder cause really everything he did was for her even if he was also somewhat selfish at times)
Another thing is just how on Brendok the Jedi blamed Mae both for Osha’s sake and to hide their own actions but it all came out later and really hurt them all but now Vernestra is doing the exact same thing which is probably going to send everything into a huge downward spiral
Alright a couple things to finish up
what is Plagueis doing there??? Honestly I don’t even want to know but that’s slightly scary for season two
Also can we all agree that Vernestra’s purple light whip is cool as hell? Cause I feel like it doesn’t get enough recognition
Alright last of all rip to my favorites Sol Jecki and Yord the three of them deserved better and I wish we got to see more of them (especially jecki and yord in that manner)
Alright sorry this post got really long and it’s honestly just my ramblings that no one needs to hear but you’re getting them anyway

Too Sweet - a Jecki/Osha fanfiction
A/N: Hello everyone! After episode 5 aired this week I decided to write a little Modern AU about Jecki and Osha. It is extremely fluffy. Here is an extract and if you want to read the whole story you will find the link at the end!
Jecki pushed the scooter to the edge of the garage then called:
“Excuse me? I could use some help?”
She looked on either side of the car but could not spot any mechanic wearing a jumpsuit who could help her. Then, she heard wheels on the concrete floor and looked down. The mechanic was coming out of under the car. She was wearing a jumpsuit, but had wrapped the top around her waist. A dark green tank top freed her strong arms, with a little tattoo on the right one. They flexed as she rolled herself from under the car and Jecki could feel herself blushing.
“Hey, sorry,” the mechanic said. “Do you have an appointment?”
“Er… No… My scooter just broke down and Sol recommended I come here.”
The mechanic stood up and brushed her grease-stained hands on her pants. Jecki took the time to look at her once more. They were the same height. The mechanic had thin, ruddy colored dreadlocks. Her brown skin was stained with little dots of grease. Her dark eyes landed on Jecki and she smiled.
“You work for Sol?”
“How do you know?” Jecki replied, doing her best not to stutter as the mechanic continued to look at her.
“You’re wearing a ‘Master Sol’s Korean Noodle Bar’ shirt.”
Jecki looked down at herself. She had forgotten that she was dressed for work.
“Oh yeah…”
“I used to work there too, a few years ago.”
Jecki’s mouth fell open.
“You did?”
It certainly explained why Sol had recommended the mechanic’s shop to her.
“I’m Osha,” the mechanics said as she held out a hand.
“Jecki. Is that a nickname, Osha? Like did you get a lot of OSHA violations so they…”
She pursed her lips to stop herself from talking when she realized how stupid she sounded. Osha’s smile hadn’t fallen, but she shook her head.
“My name is Verosha, but my friends call me Osha.”
“Well, Jecki isn’t short for anything, it’s…”
She cleared her throat.
“Can you help me with my scooter?”
Yord: How dare you mock me in such a manner!
Jecki: Well, how would you like me to mock you then? I take requests.
Yord: can we please do things my way for ONCE? Jecki: Yord, we tried things your way.
Yord: What are you talking about? No we didn’t.
Jecki: I did it in my head and it didn’t work. So we’re still doing things my way.
Osha, to Yord: I dare you-
Jecki: Yeah, no. Don’t you know Yord’s not allowed to accept dares??
Osha: ??? Why not???
Yord: I.. *making air quotes* “have no regard for my personal safety”
Jecki: ITS TRUE
Jecki, turning to Sol: Master, would you please back me up on this?
Sol, shrugging: Jecki does have a point, Yord..
Jecki: HA! .. I mean, see, Yord? It’s for your own safety.
Yord: Do you think I could fit fifteen marshmallows in my mouth?
Jecki: *sighs* You’re a hazard to society.
Osha: And a coward, do twenty.
Sol: Why are you smiling?
Jecki: What? Can’t I just be happy?
Osha: Yord tripped and fell in the hallway
Yord: You know, I was once arrested for being too cool
Jecki, not impressed: Yeah, and the charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence
Jecki: How long are we going to stand here and let him do that?
Osha: Just give him a minute
Yord: *pushing on a door that clearly says pull*
