Fusion to Air Special ‘The Naked Truth’ Report on Standing Rock Movement

Fusion To Air Special ‘The Naked Truth’ Report On Standing Rock Movement

Special Includes Interview with Actor and Activist Mark Ruffalo

‘The Naked Truth: Standing Rock’ Reported by FUSION’s Nelufar Hedayat Airs Tonight, December 22 @ 10PM

In a new special report ‘The Naked Truth: Standing Rock,’ FUSION takes an in-depth look at the Native American activists who have have been boldly standing up to a large energy company and the government to prevent the construction of an oil pipeline under the Missouri River. After months of protests, as the world watched, the self-described ‘water protectors’ accomplished a momentary victory when the Obama administration announced it will not allow the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) to move forward. Actor and activist Mark Ruffalo, one of the strongest supporters of the #NoDAPL movement, sits down with FUSION’s Nelufar Hedayat to discuss the challenge of transforming a momentary gain into a long-standing victory, considering the potential threats from the incoming Trump administration. “The Naked Truth: Standing Rock” will air Thursday, December 22 @ 10PM on FUSION (channel listings).

“Corporate and state power has come so close together that people are at a moment where they don’t feel like their voices are being heard. And so the last thing that’s left for us is to assemble, is to gather together and to protest – or protect,” Ruffalo said to Hedayat.

“People think that Bismarck moved the pipeline because they wanted to protect the white people. In fact what I would tell you is that that’s bullshit,” the Mayor of Bismarck Mike Seminary told FUSION. “The city of Bismarck never was involved in the process… ever. We didn’t have a role in it.”

“It’s my home. It’s my water. My home is right there - my house on the hill. My son is buried there. My father is buried there. Who would put a pipeline next to your son’s grave?,” Ladonna Brave Bull Allard told FUSION.

Review: Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Rating: 8.0 of 10

So, if you live on Planet Earth, you have probably read reviews/heard from other people about how amazing Thor: Ragnarok is.

I’m not gonna be one of those people.

image

Alright, I don’t think it’s terrible either. I just think Ragnarok is okay, and somewhat on par with other “okay” Marvel’s Cinematic Universe (*cough* Ant-Man *cough*).

I could say that the one great thing about Ragnarok is that it has a lot of personality. The sin of previous Thor movies were that they were not only forgettable, they felt “cookie-cutter”. They felt like you’ve seen them before, and in fact you definitely have. Meanwhile, Ragnarok is definitely its own beast, and that is for sure thanks to Taika Waititi’s clear vision as director. His vision in infusing fun and humor is definitely something that Thor sorely needs. And that proved to work, as evidenced by its success both critically and commercially.

However, Taika’s brand of humor is not my brand of humor. Because the story is quite thin, Ragnarok definitely hinges a lot on its humor. So if you like Taika (see What We Do In The Shadows) then I guess you’ll like it, but if you don’t get the laughs then you won’t enjoy it as much. I’ve always said that Marvel movies are always unexpectedly funny, but although there were laughs, they were not usually at the expense of the characters. However, Taika likes to make fun of his characters, to the point that he makes them look quite foolish. He probably was trying to make them more “relatable” or something, but for me, they just make me respect our heroes less.

image

The villain is played by none other than Cate Blanchett. Cate Blanchett just has that enormous movie presence that makes every movie better, but her character Hela was not given the gravity it deserves. Given that Hela is Thor and Loki’s sister (and given what happened to their father Odin), Ragnarok is ripe for a real, emotional family story. But Ragnarok failed on that front. Sure, Ragnarok touches on that in one or two scenes, but they definitely were not enough. An emotional core like that should be ingrained in its story, but instead it just felt tacked on. Just because Ragnarok is a funny movie, that doesn’t excuse the lack of heart in this film. Just look at Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. That movie was funny as hell, but the emotional content of that movie was through the roof. Sadly Ragnarok couldn’t do anything like that, instead Hela just felt like another Malekith (villain from Thor: The Dark World, if you don’t remember, who was not that good of a villain to begin with).

image

Ragnarok, though, definitely plays on Chris Hemsworth’s strength. Hemsworth is an incredible comedic actor, and he fits right in this new tone. I couldn’t grasp much of Hulk/Bruce Banner’s character in this movie, mainly because in-universe we have not seen him for 2 years. He has changed a lot but we were not given time to revisit his character more. Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie though, is really great! She is badass and memorable, and is definitely a worthy addition to MCU family. About Loki… I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but I do think that Loki’s character has definitely run its course. Unless something happens to the character that changes him, I can’t see how Loki could add value to future Marvel movies.

image

TL;DR If you need some laughs, or you have 2 hours to kill, Thor: Ragnarok is definitely a great movie. But if you’re looking for something more emotionally profound, you’re not gonna get it here.

Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Rating: 8.0 of 10

In terms of Marvel’s universe, Avengers: Age of Ultron is pretty decent. Because Marvel has been pulling things off left and right throughout these years, any small dip downward will always be felt like a dip. For me unfortunately, Age of Ultron could not reach the heights that was Iron Man, The Avengers, or Captain America: The Winter Soldier, although thankfully it did not rise low like Thor or Iron Man 2.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, after the fall of SHIELD, Avengers Initiative was continued by Maria Hill under the wings of Tony Stark. They were looking high and low for Loki's Sceptre that was left on earth, and found it in a HYDRA base in Sokovia. They attempted to retrieve it, but they also faced something more: two "enhanced" people, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (although no one's calling them that). But wait, they're not the villain! The villain was an Artifical Intelligence called Ultron, almost unknowingly built by Tony Stark, who was hellbent on destroying the world like how ultrasmart AI sometimes do.

The movie was fun and exciting, for sure. There were plenty of action to be found in this film, as you would guess from a movie that has Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye together. After all, you can't really accuse a movie that had Hulk vs Iron Man's Hulkbuster Armor to be lacking action. The sequences were big and beautiful as always, and one thing I particularly liked was how determined the heroes were to keep civilians as far as possible. I even liked how they protrayed Scarlet Witch's mind-altering powers visually, she never looked out of place at all.

image

Despite all that, the movie's strong suit was always when the action stopped. The personal moments were incredibly the best in this film. Hawkeye, who was mostly mind-controlled in the first Avengers, had a lot of screentime dedicated to him and his (surprise) family, and it was sweet. We got to see a whole new side of Natasha and Bruce Banner as they found solace in each other. And Tony Stark? We found out that he was still an arrogant and a genius, as expected. It was always fun to see them hangout over nothing too, like how they did in the party with Thor's hammer (not a euphemism).

image

Unfortunately, I found the villain kinda meh. Ultron was a very powerful villain, and his very existence was supposed to change the world or something, but he was too strong, too fast, and too vague that it was hard to feel any particular emotion towards him. Mostly I was like, "What's with this guy?" wondering why he got so crazy and ended up with no satisfying answer other than a single Tony Stark's off-handed remark. Ultron was an underdeveloped villain, but the movie itself was already clocking at 2,5 hours that it was an understandable decision. The Vision was pretty cool, though!

And I am excited for the new generation of Avengers!

TL;DR With serviceable villain, Age of Ultron could not be an instant Marvel classic, but it was a spectacle like none other with excellent dramatic moments.

“Hate when secrets are revealed” Avengers cast x teen reader

Detail: Y/n has been part of the cast since the first Iron man. She is now 16 and everyone sees her as family. During filming of infinity war she starts to act a little different. What the cast don't know is that she is hiding a big secret.

Who: Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie

image
image

"I don't know why I bother trying to talk to you dad. You never listen to me!" y/c/n (Your character name) screamed at her father figure since she was young.

"Oh I never listen to you. News flash darling, not everything is about you. I should of left you there the day  I found you." Tony yelled back. Y/C/n looked at him in tears as Tony instantly regretted it. "Y/C/N............" "Don't Tony, don't you dare." She said through gritted teeth as she stormed off. "Well that went well." Thor stated after a minute silence, causing everyone to look at him.

"And cut, well done guys."Joe called. "Alright, lets call it a day. Back tomorrow at 7 sharp." Anthony followed on as the cast moved off set.

Y/n slowly moved towards her trailer and started to change into her own clothes. She was trying to avoid the cast as much as possible. She didn't want them to find out that she was hiding something big from them as she was sure they'd freak. However, on her way out she immediately bumped into Mark.

"Woah." "Sorry Mark. Didn't mean to." Y/n replied to the older man as she went to leave. "I was heading to tell you that I'll bring you home." Mark offered with a smile. "No thanks, I'm good." Y/n replied with slight panic. "Come on y/n, it's too dark for someone your age to walk home alone. I'll drive ya." "No seriously, I'll be fine. I've done it before." "Which none of us agree with. Seriously, I'd much prefer to see you home safely." "Mark I'm sixteen years old. I've been walking since I could talk. I think I'll be fine to walk on my own." Y/n stated causing him to roll his eyes. "Y/n go with him. You'd safe us all the worry." Robert called as he came out of his village of trailers. "Guys, I'll be fine. Thanks for the concern though." She fake smiled and headed off.

"Is it just me or is y/n distant lately?" Robert asked Mark as they watched y/n walk off. "No, I've realized that too." Mark nodded. "Watcha watching?" Sebastian asked as he and Anthony walked towards the two. "Y/n. She's being distant." Robert explained. "I know right." Anthony sighed. "Why don't we follow her. But not so it's noticeable." Sebastian suggested. "Good idea." Robert nodded and they headed in her direction.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n turned on the television as she sat down in front of it with a cup of hot chocolate. Currently, she was living in an apartment. After everything that happened with her family y/n decided it would be best to start living on her own.

Y/n was interrupted from her thoughts when there was a knock on the door. Confused, she placed her cup on the table and made her way to the door. She looked on in shock when she seen four of her cast mates standing in front of her.

"What.............." "We followed you." Robert interrupted her as the four pushed their way in. "That's not creepy at all." "How long you been living here?" "A while." "I thought you living in a house." Mark stated. "Dad decided it would be best for us all to move somewhere close to my work." "Where's your parents?" "Out. Now if you don't mind, I have school to do." Y/n stated as she grabbed her laptop.

"y/n." Sebastian sighed as she ignored them. "Y/n." He said again as he took her laptop. "Hey!!" Y/n exclaimed. "We know you don't live with your parents. Robert called them." Anthony said causing Y/n to slouch in her seat. "How'd you get their number?" "Working with you since you were young has it's strengths." Robert explained.

"So now can we have the truth?" Mark pleaded as they sat beside her, him and Sebastian either side and Anthony and RDJ on the table in front. Y/n sighed and leaned forward, head in her hands. "My parents are struggling. Dad lost his job and mum, mum lost it. Money is scarce. With three kids it is a struggle so I decided to leave, give them some sort of relief even if it isn't much." "How long?" Sebastian asked. "Six months." Y/n sighed. "Six months!!? Y/n, why didn't you say anything?" Robert asked in shock. "Because I knew you guys would want to help. That's not what we want. I give them half of my earnings so they are slowly getting on their feet. Dad thinks he found a new job. I would be moving back in soon so what was the point?" "The point is we could of helped. I know what it's like for your family to be, well, poor. It sucks and a struggle beyond belief. We could of helped you grasp it better. Stay with one of us." Mark stated, wrapping a arm around y/ns shoulders. "That's what I didn't want. You guys and everyone else would hassle against noting. I'm fine living here. I get around." "How did your parents agree to this?" Rob asked, not believing that y/ns parents allowed their child to leave and live on their own at 16. "I didn't give them much of a choice." I stated causing them to chuckle. "Just like your character. Anyway, listen, we all would like if you would at least spend once a week at one of our houses. That way, we know that you are safe for at least one day." Rob smirked. Y/n sighed. "Your not going to take no for an answer." "Not a chance." The four laughed. "Alright fine, but only once a week. I don't want you to stop everything for me." "And we'll keep it between the four of us." Sebastian stated. "You going to be able to do that Mark?" Y/n joked causing the other three to laugh. "I'm not that bad." Mark said, fake offended. "Oh but you are." Rob said as they calmed down.

"I love you guys." Y/n smiled. "We love you too y/n." The lads said as they pulled into a group hug.

And here, Y/n felt safe. She knew that these four, they would do anything for her. And she was grateful for that. And when she returned home to her family when everything was sorted, she made sure that the rest of the cast knew that Iron man, Hulk, Winter shoulder and the Falcon, were real life heros as well as in the movies, much to the dismay of the four actors.

honestly ... yeah i agree with this. i think of actors like mark ruffalo for example, who is capable of truly incredible things, and it kinda hurts my heart that in 50 years or so he'll be better remembered for his turn as bruce banner than for anything like spotlight or zodiac or shutter island.

i also think about tom holland, who is by far the most charming spiderman and seems to enjoy doing it — will this be more of a jumping off point for him? i hope so; baby can act. he more than held his own against robert pattinson in the devil all the time, which is saying a lot. i would hate to see him mostly cast in goofy shoot shoot bang bang bullshit after this.

i've seen quite a few "pedro pascal in marvel when?" type posts lately. i'm not inserting myself into the marvel vs ✨cinema✨ debate right now even though i have some thoughts about it, but i will say this: i can't imagine wishing for this poor man to get stuck in marvel hell for the next 10 years or so

i enjoy marvel properties on the whole — they're fun and sometimes genuinely emotionally resonant, but they do have a tendency to swallow up good actors and not spit out their withered husks until character death occurs

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men dressed in their Sunday Best

Ok, so maybe on Henley Monday I promised a Tuxedo Tuesday. And maybe yesterday there was a blizzard and I also go distracted and forgot to make the post. Maybe that's all true. But HERE. NOW. I bring you a plethora of photos from Hollywood's Biggest Night.

I bring you...Men In Tuxedos at the Oscars!

First, let's walk down the red carpet....

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

If you look closely, you can see Mr. Tveit's striped socks. I love a man who has a bit of whimsy when it comes to his dress socks.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

Next up is Aaron "Enjolras" Tveit's Les Mis buddy Eddie Redmayne rocking the hell out of his velvet slippers.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

Chris Pine went for the double breasted jacket. I die. I just die. He's not alone in his refusal to shave either. Many, many actors declined to rid themselves of facial hair for the black tie event.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

This picture of Joseph Gordon Levitt shows the detail on his tux. The fabric has a bit of texture to it, as well as the piping details. I can't tell if the piping is silk or leather. I really want it to be leather.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

Bradley Cooper brought his mom! He brought his adorable and precocious mom! She has on a pink ostrich feather stole AND tennis shoes! Brad's three-piece Tom Ford also rule and even though his hair is yucky he looks fine.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

My personal fave Chris Evans brought his proud momma along too! She looks radiant. Chris, I love a good bow tie, but I get that's not quite your style.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

Then the show started and more men tromped out on stage including this fine selection of male specimen from the Avengers. Samuel L. Jackson gets major points for going with that garnet velvet. Love it.

Tuxedo Time - The Best Looking Men Dressed In Their Sunday Best

A whole bunch of awards were given out and the biggest one of the night went to Ben Affleck for Argo! He dressed the part of a best picture winner with a one button, silk lapel jacket, vest, and silk bow-tie! DAMN, AFFLECK, YOUR FACE IS AGING AS WELL AS YOUR CAREER!

Basically I was looking at my TV like this all night long:

Predicting the fate of the Avengers - Spoilers below

So I just finished Infinity War and boy did it hurt. A lot. So to make myself feel better and hopefully other fans out there, here is a little list of what I think will happen to my children.

IRON MAN/TONY STARK

Well he surprisingly survived Infinity War against all odds but the chances of him surviving Avengers 4 are slim. Robert Downey Junior has made no official statement of renewing his contract with Marvel so he will most probably bow out of the role in Avengers 4. Whether Marvel kills him off entirely or he retires from the life of Iron Man and is never seen again, maybe start a farm with Pepper. Well I hope for the best but that’s not usually what I get.

CAPTAIN AMERICA/NOMAD/STEVE ROGERS

Another person who surprisingly survived Infinity War. Chances of surviving Avengers 4 are small. Chris Evans has not yet expressed any interest in renewing his contract so it will be likely that Captain America will be killed off in Avengers 4. Whether Bucky or Sam will take up the mantle of Captain America is another question entirely.

THANOS

Hopefully this motherfucker dies because he is a complete asshole and doesn’t deserve life. He will probably die by the end of some big final battle in Avengers 4.

THOR

A survivor of Infinity War who will hopefully not die in Avengers 4. With the huge success of Thor: Ragnarok there might be a chance for a Thor 4 and Chris Hemsworth will be back to reprise his role. That would be the best possible outcome for Thor. His chances of surviving Avengers 4 is probably a tiny bit better than the survival of characters such as Iron Man and Captain America. Also he just got this amazing axe upgrade and it would be a bit of a waste for it to be shown in just 2 movies.

BLACK WIDOW/NATASHA ROMANOFF

A survivor of Infinity War. There is a decent chance that she will die in Avengers 4 but also a decent chance that she will live. Marvel is currently working on a Black Widow movie but whether the events in the movie are going to be before or after the events of Avengers 4 is still unknown.

NEBULA

She’s thankfully alive but it could be due to the role she plays in defeating Thanos in the comics. Hopefully we could see her play her part in Avengers 4 but whether she would survive the ordeal in it is still a question remained unanswered. She should survive as her character has a lot of potential for development especially with Guardians of the Galaxy 3 coming up.

THE HULK/BRUCE BANNER

My boy Bruce is alive. The chances of him surviving Avengers 4 are higher than most of his team. Considering the development The Hulk has gone through in Thor: Ragnarok and Infinity War, his character hopefully won’t come to a close in Avengers 4. The Hulk still has room to develop especially after that whole thing in Infinity War where The Hulk wouldn’t come out to fight.

OKOYE

This badass is thankfully alive and should remain so as we won’t have a general to lead the Dora Milaje with a Black Panther sequel being discussed.

ROCKET RACCOON

My small rabbit survived but at a very great cost. Marvel give him a break already he doesn’t deserve losing everyone. He should be safe for Avengers 4 with Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in the works.

WAR MACHINE/RHODEY

Oh he’s already been through so much thank you Marvel for keeping him alive. He should be safe for Avengers 4. If he survives he’ll be a member of the new Avengers and help fill in Tony’s shoes if he dies.

STAR LORD/PETER QUILL

He’s at the moment dead. Star Lord will most probably be revived as there is a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 scheduled for release in the next few years. He should be alive by the end of Avengers 4.

DOCTOR STRANGE/STEPHEN STRANGE

A dead man. Strange will most probably be revived as there is much room for his character to grow and develop. Strange is also a very powerful character in the MCU so getting rid of him will be a waste. A person like Cumberbatch also brings in a lot of profit due to well Benedict being Benedict and the entire internet absolutely loving him. There was also that cliffhanger at the end of Doctor Strange which could be explored in sequels. He should be alive by the end of Avengers 4.

SPIDERMAN/PETER PARKER

Oh my poor child he was too young. Spiderman will most probably be alive by the end of Avengers 4 as there is the Spiderman sequel being made. Spiderman is also a very new and popular addition to the MCU so killing him in Avengers 4 would be a waste.

SCARLET WITCH/WANDA MAXIMOFF

My poor girl is dead. Scarlet Witch is a very powerful character and has a lot of room to grow and develop. Marvel won’t give up this character with that much potential. She should be safe for Avengers 4.

GAMORA

Oh my poor girl is dead. With a Guardians of the Galaxy in the works, it is uncertain if Gamora will rejoin her family to fight evil ever again. But it is possible that she simply trapped in the Soul Stone as she was necessary for Thanos to obtain it. She could be revived for Avengers 4 but still keep your fingers crossed.

GROOT

How dare they touch my tree. My tree did not deserve that. He should be alive by the end of Avengers 4 due to Guardians of the Galaxy 3 around the corner. Also I just want to see my tree grow.

THE VISION

My baby is dead. He did not deserve that right after he found love. The Mind Stone was ripped from his head killing him but there might be a chance of survival. This depends on how far Shuri got into removing the Mind Stone. If they somehow got the Mind Stone back to Vision that might bring Vision back to life. He probably has a 50/50 chance of being revived by the end of Avengers 4.

WHITE WOLF/WINTER SOLDIER/BUCKY BARNES

I’ve watched him die twice now. Give my boy a break. After the whole finger snap of doom we can assume that he is simply another soul trapped in the Soul Stone. Bucky has gone through a lot of changes and development through his time in the MCU and he should be safe for Avengers 4. Also I just want a Bucky movie Kevin Feige please just give it to us.

MANTIS

My sweet innocent girl just crumpled to ash. She should be alive by the end of Avengers 4 with Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in the works. She is also a very powerful character despite her timid personality. Would be a waste for Marvel to just throw away this character.

LOKI ODINSON

Now there’s lots of theories surrounding Loki’s death which you can find by just scrolling through the Loki tag on tumblr. I am currently in denial myself about his death because I love hime too much. The best possible outcome of this is that he is alive and he goes and leads what remains of Asgard and get a standalone Loki movie. Worst case scenario is that he remains dead forever and Thor is alone without a brother he just got back. Prepare yourself for both.

THE FALCON/SAM WILSON

He dead. Also probably trapped in the Soul Stone but should be alive by the end of Avengers 4. He should also be a part of the new Avengers team after the original ones die/exit.

MARIA HILL

She’s dead but should return by the end of Avengers 4 as she is another soul trapped in the Soul Stone. She should continue to be Nick Fury’s right hand.

BLACK PANTHER/T’CHALLA

How dare they kill my king. Right after we just fall in love with him in Black Panther. He should be alive by the end of Avengers 4 with a Black Panther sequel being discussed. Marvel also wouldn’t end T’Challa’s story after the immense success and impact of Black Panther because that would be the stupidest move made in Marvel history.

HEIMDALL

Poor Heimdall. Didn’t deserve that. Unfortunately I don’t see a return for his character into the MCU after being stabbed like that. You will be missed.

HAWKEYE/CLINT BARTON

Alive? We don’t know after the whole finger snap of doom but seeing as there are a lot of theories surrounding him for Avengers 4 we’ll presume that he is alive. We don’t know the how big of a role he will play in Avengers 4 so it will be hard to tell whether he will survive Avengers 4.

WONG

Alive? I don’t know but he should be as there was that cliffhanger in Doctor Strange and it just wouldn’t be complete without my boy listening to Beyoncé while kicking ass.

ANT MAN/SCOTT LANG

Alive? Don’t know because he wasn’t in the movie. Hopefully he wasn’t a victim of the finger snap of doom because that would suck. There’s also theories of his role in Avengers 4 which relies heavily on his use of the quantum realm. Look it up.

SHURI

Alive? Hopefully she wasn’t a victim of the finger snap of doom. She should have a bigger role in Avengers 4 especially if they plan on bringing Vision back. Hopefully she’ll be safe by the end of Avengers 4 especially with a sequel being discussed.

PEPPER POTTS

Alive? We don’t know if she’s a victim of the finger snap of doom. Hopefully she isn’t because we just her back and Tony would be devastated if she was dead.

Please tell me if I’ve missed anyone because I feel like I did with this gigantic cast.

The thing is, Thor isn't a person who would abandon his responsibilities as a king or his people after Thor 3. Possibly in Thor 2, sure. He actually mentions that he doesn't want to be a king. But after Thor 3 and Infinity war he's grown, he saw Loki & Heimdall sacrifice themselves so Thor could live. But in all those incidents he wouldn't let him self go just like that. He just wouldn't. Remember when he lost his hammer, father, hair(lol), finds out he had a sister who's really evil and he got casted out as a slave in trash planet? Did he let him self go? NO. Because Thor is someone who continues to walk forward no matter the failures and mistakes he had made. He destroyed his own planet to save the Asgardians and still had hope to carry on. Then in Endgame where Valkyrie, Korg, and the survivors of Asgard returned, he just chucked away his responsibilities and whines about his the one who killed Thanos and blah blah. He's trapped in self misery which is out of the past 10 years of characterisation. He actually doesn't have the reason to give up! Not to mention How Russos used Thor's PTSD as a comic device and fat shamed him the entire movie for the sake of humor

For Bruce Banner, in Infinity War the Russos didn't give any chance for Hulk to actually fight until the end after he got beaten in the first act. I thought there would be an important reason for that which would be explained in Endgame. BUT NOPE. The struggle of Bruce identifying his alter ego is just one and they mixed the two together. We didn't even got to see how the hell did that happen. Russos were like 'here, this is canon accept it even if we showed & explained nothing for you' in our throat. Also, Bruce banner is one of the smartest scientist in the mcu yet he struggles so much on the Quantum realm sutff and in the end, its always Tony Stark who saves the day with Bruce banner not being able to solve anything. I really prefered Whedon's Bruce Banner & Hulk more than Russos'.

For Natasha, I found it really creepy on how Russo brothers kept sacrificing the only female member of the team (Gamora in original GotG, Natasha in original Avengers) for the sake of 'sacrifice the LOVED ones for the sake of greater good' in Vormir. Also it just doesn't make any sense. If they wanted the soul stone then didn't Nebula forewarn them that there should be a LOVING sacrifice? Again, plot hole. Natasha's sacrifice was unnecessary and was just full of plot holes. But then I thought, fine. I guess they're starting to kill off all the original 6 avengers one by one starting with Black widow. But nope, just her and Tony, who got the most screen time and emotional scene with most dramatic exit ever happened in MCU, but not Nat. Didn't you find it odd to see when Steve said Avengers assemble and there was no Black widow? Or the scene where all the female heroes stand and there is no first female superhero in the MCU? Didn't you think that Black widow's death was totally unnecessary and was just wasted as mere plot device? Or she didn't get that grand funeral that Tony got or just NO FUNERAL AT ALL. I mean you can say that 'Oh I'm pretty sure that Nat had her tombstone too and everyone's mourning for her as well!' But did we see that in the movie? NO. It's just Clint and Wanda mentioning her for 3 sec then boom. End of the movie

I agree Joss Whedon was horrible in AoU with her character but I really liked Nat in Avengers 1. And in terms of female characters, at least Whedon didn't make Wanda to wear Corset through out the movie. The suit at the end of AoU had no corset which Russos just ignored... Also he actually cared for Bruce Banner & Hulk which Russos just used him as comical device in IW and Endgame. And Thor... god I just want to cry on how they concluded the story line like this. Tony and Steve had glorified ending but Thor who's the big three of the MCU was just unacceptable

Gosh Avengers Endgame was so bad now I’m starting to want Joss Whedon back

At least Whedon wouldn’t ruin Thor & Banner’s character just like that or he’ll kill off female character so pointlessly… Seriously, there’s so many plot holes in this time travel shit that Russos failed to explain. Are they even the same directors who directed Infinity war???? What the fuck happened?? I think marvel will never be able to surpass Whedon’s Avengers 1. And yes, I am this desperate. It’s like Sherlock season three all over again. Directors starring themselves& their family members in the movie, taking up time and not enough for the actual characters. I didn’t pay to see your face or your children

Just watched Avengers endgame

If you are Thor or Bruce Banner's fan, I highly recommend you to not watch it. Cuz I'm a HUGE Thor fan and I walked out the cinema PISSED AS FUCK HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. Does Russo brothers hate Chris Hemsworth? Or Just the Asgardian characters in general? I mean, WTF they completely erased all the character development that has been built up for past 10 years

Thor Ragnarok review!

I'm back guys! With NON- SPOILER (maybe minor minor) review of my favourite guys

- This was definitely a THOR movie. God Chris Hemsworth my man, I loved his short hair cut. Also I feel like Thor has the most character development in the entire MCU who actually moves on and goes forward. Honestly, I bet a lot of them thought that Thor is a boring/ stupid avenger who can't do anything without his hammer. This movie slaps their faces. This movie persuaded me why Thor was more appropriate heir to be a King than Loki, not just because he is Odin's true first son. His actions were perfect too. He really shined in this movie

- Loki, my favourite guy since 2011, the one who made me start all this fan- girl things, was also dope. HOWEVER if you guys liked his aura in Thor 1,2, you may feel a bit ???? with the characterisation. Nevertheless, he was still adorable and Tom Hiddleston's suit and costume porno was just .. Wow. Also I liked how Thor and Loki's relationship was developed.

- I was actually worried that Hulk would have big role in the movie but I think it was ok. We can see the mental separation between Bruce Banner and Hulk like in the Hulk comics. Also, Brutasha was kind of my notp in AoU. No hate towards their character though. But I think Taika Watiti produced their relationship more convincingly in this movie than Joss Whedon.

- Hela was DOPE. Some may not be too happy about the reveal, but you know.. its quite impossible to make Hela Loki's daughter in MCU unlike in the mythology. Her actions were great, Cate Blanchett's acting was great too. I think she was one of the best villains made in phase 3 after Vulture in Spiderman Homecoming

- I also liked Valkyrie's drunk character. Also the flashback scene of Hela vs Valkyrie was also just visually stunning. Like straight out of mythology. I actually hoped to get more scenes portrayed like that

- I really loved Heimdall too. He was so righteous, wise, loyal and perfect. I also really loved the scene where Thor and Heimdall communicated at the middle part of the movie

There were quite bait scenes which were different from thentrailer which I also liked. However, I kind of hope that there were a bit of less comedy and more seriousness. Also, I think it would have been better if there were less scenes of the Grandmaster's planet too. Oh, and Taika, why???? The worriors omg... BUT there were a lot of strong female characters.

Anyway, I liked the movie and actually made me fall in love with the Odinson brothers again. It was a 9/10 movie for me

Lastly ONE SPOILER for you guys

THERE WAS NO INFINITY STONE IN THIS MOVIE. Maybe in Black panther?
