I feel like 3GS was physically built for his role, but never mentally. Take Mephone4 for example, when he was “born,” he acted childish, like any ordinary kid, he had innocence, before Cobs stripped it away from him. And considering how Cobs treats his own creations, perhaps 3GS had it similar? Born with child like innocence, only for it to be stripped away immediately. Forced to be a troop leader on the battle field, to learn how to defend yourself and fight for some alien egg? Forced to face the risk of death?
