Birthdays. The day that celebrates your birth. Winter hated his. After all, back in the Ice Kingdom, his family never celebrated his existence. Hell, they didn't even want him.

Which is why it was weird to have 4 people giving you gifts, being all happy l, as if they *appreciated* you. It was strange. It was, well, preposterous! He didn't need charity. He was very much fine with earning things himself.

..Although, his heart *did* skip a beat when the rest of the Jade Winglet smiled at him. As if they were happy that he was here. He wouldn't ever admit that out loud though!

The gifts were things that they though he would like. A few mystery genre books from Moon, a white lamp from Turtle, and a bouquet of yellow roses from Kinkajou, which was awfully symbolic of her.

..Nobody would find out that he actually kept all the Rose's in a glass vase. Maybe Qibli would, but he doubted Qibli would know what yellow Rose's meant.

Speaking of Qibli, he gave him a pair of pale blue headphones.

"I know your old ones were broken, and you haven't replaced them yet..so, here you go." Qibli said, as his face noticeably coloured.

"..Thanks. They'll be useful." he had choked out. His face was red too. Luckily, they were back in the dorm room, where nobody saw two people obviously pining after eachother.

Whilst Winter might've thought that gifts were foolish, maybe he would give his friends the benefit of the doubt. After all, he did find his true love through getting a gift.

sasuke uchiha = winter

you wanna know why? because they're both huge ass tsunderes whose brother loves them v much. hailstorm didnt kill their entire family, but if he did it would be because scarlet threatened to kidnap winter. scarlet was also against the ice wings because of blaze. winter fuckin forgives hailstorm when it's revealed he was used by scarlet just like danzo used itachi.

also sasunaru and qinter did not become canon

also they're best friends ( although winter and sasuke dont admit it)

naruto and qibli= dumbass energy

moon= sakura

pretty and also can kick your ass
