Accepting Who
Why do I feel like I’m becoming something new
Every little thing seemingly changing shape in my view
Even the words on my tongue sound different too
Now like an owl I must question who
I look into the mirror of my soul
Always questioning my self given role
Forgetting that it isn’t my entire sole
Accepting that there is more than one goal
Why have I became entirely anew
Feeling like grass with the morning dew
As my face embraces a calm bright hue
Now like an owl I must declare who
Once again gazing into the mirror of my soul
No longer fearful of taking the reigns of control
Replacing all the pieces that others stole
Finally constructing my being into something whole
