These days I have enough thoughts and feelings about Adrien (and Gabriel Agreste and sentiadrien and everything) to write a dissertation, but art is easier
Felix: "I want to keep Sentibeings safe"
Also Felix: *doesn't tell Adrien he's a sentibeing, even though the rings are in Adrien's possession*

Marinette: "I want to protect Adrien"
Also Marinette: *Breaks the rings withholding Adriens amok, knowing that could've caused Adrien's death*
I want Adrien to fake his death when he find out (on his own) that he's a senti, so that everyone who kept it a secret from him would realise they've messed up bad in giving him the rings while not telling him the real importance of them.

He was immortal.
The miraculous is indestructible
The Amok had to be captured or the owner of the miraculous had to destroy him.
But his fatter took both, the Miraculous and the amokatized object with him.
And now, hundreds of years later, he was still there, still the same Adrien. Cause at some point he just stopped physically growing.
But his mind was old, very old.
He often tried to find the two objects, but eventually always gave up.
The mansion was unhoused until some years ago were people tore it down to build something new.
So he was homeless since then.
And a stranger whose proposal didn’t go as planned, walks by and tosses the rings into the hat standing in front of Adrien.
He wanted to chase after the man and give them back but, he recognized them. Those were his parents’ rings. Those rings that probably held the amok.
He carefully took them out of the box and, yes. Those are the rings. He could feel it.
Now he only had to break them.
A few hits with a stone and the amok was out.
Now the Amok had to be purified.
Adrien had no idea how-
The amok flew over to a group of playing and laughing and overalls happy kids.
And what is purer than a kids laugh?
Unnoticed he crumbled out of existence.
