my writer's intuition for the binary bros ending is currently defined by an unstoppable force (the maria storyline is leading to demetri going back to spain with her instead of MIT to show "growth") meeting an immovable object (demetri + eli are going to end up in the same place for the spin-off potential). i fear the promo hug can pretty easily slot into either of those scenarios.

I doubt they’ll do that to us but then again the writers be finding unpredictable ways to fuck everything up so uhh might not be too unlikely I care more about the death of Yasmetri than the death of Kwon
