I love making bug reaction gifs too use when talking too my friends , this is one of my favs.
I actually found a weevil in my home once and was shocked how tiny they are. It was still like seeing a celebrity, i was like "OMG is this the bug, the myth, the legend? The snoots and boots insects i`ve been reading about and seeing photos of? In MY house? Visiting ME?" Took some photos and let the lil guy out

these are the miserable remains of a chestnut weevil (Curculio elephas) who will never again feel the joy of a freshly drilled acorn after unspeakable atrocities were perpetrated upon her by me
this is her thirty seconds later. the atrocities that she miraculously recovered from included "being gently scooped up from a branch"

Tiny bugs, tiny jars
Vintage bamboo weevils! These specimens are older than me! By, like, a lot!
Because bamboo weevils are from Asia, and these are very old, I decided to try and mimic staples of classic Asian art, like the deep green of bamboo leaves and the bright, lucky color red
