Me glancing at my exponentially growing document of several dozen pages of new ideas and all the ongoing stories I need to finish w
sometimes i wish it didn’t take me so long to rediscover my love for writing. it’s something i LOVED as a kid. i loved books and was so mesmerized by the fictional world. then that love got lost as i grew older and i only just started rediscovering it almost two years ago.
can’t help but wonder how much closer i’d be to my writing dreams had i rediscovered my love for it sooner or never lost it to begin with.
"Writer's block" is rarely a problem. It's "writer's flow" that keeps getting in my way.
give yourself the gift of reading your own fic. it was literally written just for you.
"perfect" writing is an opinion anyway. what's perfect to me is deeply flawed to someone else. what's profound to someone else is corny & overused to you.
there is no perfect, there is only what is on the page and who is willing to receive it

People dont care about perfection. perfection is boring. if your story is perfect people will forget about it. its how we are wired. we remember the strange, the weird and all things left open.
