Louisiana-

He’s chaotic, just as bad as Florida but not nearly as obvious

Dyslexic, normally with English but it can affect him when reading French as well

Was really wary of the NE for most of his childhood as a state, now he is generally fine with them but there is no way he in going into any of their states willingly

Has been in a small prank war with Kansas since the 60s, over that time other southern states have been dragged in every so often

If he’s exhausted then there is no hope for understanding him

He won’t be in a good mood if he’s away from Florida for more than two days

He and Nevada go to parties in their states, switching every time

Is really chill and not aware of anything if he doesn’t have a daiquiri or any type of alcohol for more than a day

Has gotten into multiple fights with numerous states because of his quote on quote drinking problem, “it’s not a problem *state name here* I will literally die without it”

Always has a song stuck in his head, he has zero control over what the song is so it could be the most annoying thing in the world or something that puts him to sleep

The Cooking Mama god, The Babysitting Mama god, The every Mama game ever god, he is way to good at them

Has a few pets, 3 lizards, 2 cats, a few gators, and a snake

Absolutely loves horror games

He loves to see different magic systems and how they work in video games and books, it’s his favorite pastime 

He started to ask Jersey about his magic and how it works slowly but surely once he started to trust him more

He and Florida fell into the Hudson on one of their first visits, never again (seriously how are York and Jersey alive!??)

Cryptids are real, he’s met a bunch, but it is so much funnier to say they aren’t when California tries to prove they are

Collects YuGiOh cards, started because Florida got really into Pokémon but he couldn’t get into it as much

Likes to draw, just anything that comes to mind it goes on paper

Has a pin board, he mostly has button pins and enamel pins from anything and everything

Will just lay on states if there is no room on the couch, he doesn’t care if there is another couch, he wanted to be on this one and he doesn’t care how

Do you do ship headcanons? Would it be okay if I request some

CaliFlo - GoldenSunshine

Their dates normally consist of Cali trying to coral Florida into not doing something destructive, and normally ends with one or both of them being the reason they are banned from another place

They cuddle, a lot, always 

Some states bet that they wouldn’t be together for a month, the NE got like 50 dollars because of that bet

When Cali’s sad, Florida just lays on him till they aren’t sad anymore

When Florida’s sad, Cali will bring him either to the shore or Disney World, if that doesn’t work he gets Loui

They’ll do little drawing competitions with each other, just drawing either a character or they’ll go to a park and draw the scenery

Florida introduced Cali to first person shooters, they now play every Saturday

The times where Florida wants to cook, he’ll get the help of Loui to make sure it’s edible, Cali doesn’t care if it’s edible or not, he just cares that Florida thought to cook

Cali got Florida into the world of sitcoms, which takes over their Friday nights

They dance around in the living room when Cali has a record playing

They just like to sit together, even if they are doing completely different things

ColoVada - ColdCasino

During the winter they go snowboarding and ice skating, during the summer they go to casinos and dancing

Very visibly in love, to an almost sickly amount

They would just lie in bed for hours if they had nothing to do

Nevada will dress Colorado up just for fun, and he lets him, just whatever he wants him to wear Colorado will

Colo is the only person allowed to brush Nevs hair

They watch those horrible Christmas romance movies when tis the season

Colo always makes sure to go to Nevs shows 

Nev found this indoor snowboard and ski place that he took Colo to as a date, now they go once every weekend

Nev always makes sure to make time for Colo considering that he has a much busier schedule than Colo

Nevada just always sits on Colo, whether it’s in a meeting or just being around the StateHouse, Nev never uses an actually chair

Elllooo, of course you can so kind much wow, also don't worry I haven't done Florida hcs before and even if I did I would just make the list longer so don't sweat it.

Florida-

Chronic biter, if brain says bite he bite

Begged Jersey to take him to Action Park when he learned about the CannonBall Loop, he’s still disappointed that Wet ‘N Wild never did anything that fun

He doesn’t spend ALL his time at Disney, just a sizable amount of time is spent there

Has numerous pets, an alligator, crocodile, Florida panther, an unknown number of crabs, and different types of fish

He also has a baby alligator with Loui at the StateHouse that Gov has given up trying to remove

Unlike Cali, he actually can cook, he doesn’t do it too often but when he absolutely needs too or is bored he will

Likes barging into Cali’s room at random without any warning

Got into Pokémon briefly during the 90s, has a ton of very rare and expensive cards just lying around his home

Likes to doodle, on everything anywhere

Thinks he’s speaking Spanish half the time, has a very hard time comprehending English, it’s why he can’t read, he can but just Spanish and only kind of most of the time

There are times where he’s just very mellow and it terrifies everybody

Has a llama plush that he brought with him EVERYWHERE when he was younger, now it resides in his room at the StateHouse

While he likes to explode things, he doesn’t like out of control fire, something something trauma?

Steals Cali’s laptop at times, it’s just funny

He and Loui love to just exist in the same area, even if they aren’t doing something together or are just sitting around not speaking, they just like the closeness

Does almost everything with Loui but if he isn’t around then Florida will just mope and sulk until someone bothers him

He doesn’t get sad often but if he does it’s straight to Loui he goes, if Loui isn’t around then he goes to Cali and if Cali isn’t around then he goes to Jersey for reasons still unknown to everyone including Jersey himself

Pretty much exclusively listens to Spanish music, which would be fine if he didn’t play it at 3 in the morning scaring the hell out of all the southern (+Jersey since his room is there) states in the South Hall

May i ask about your headcanons for states as kids, just whatever you want come up with, I'll share mine

I think a lot of the states had accents speaking English as kids

Florida would definitely just combine the weirdest food, if there's a weird food that every state is eating it's because Florida found a really good one and made it a trend

I personally imagine texas would sleep(or try to) in a pillow nest, his hair would also be very unkempt and his hat would be oversized

Gov has been overly professional forever and has made a fool of himself, i imagine the states were adults already and whenever they even slightly take him seriously they remember the ridiculous things he said as a kid and laugh

They all definitely commit violence upon each other, especially after Christmas with the bonk stick

YES YES, them as kids is such a fun thing to think about

States as kids

Mass and Penn were bitters, you get too close and you got 50 unknown viruses 

Jersey is a forest rat

York and Jersey would swim in the Hudson, no one knows how they are still alive

Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Oklahoma would go hunting together, yes they were about 8, what about it?

If Jersey talked too fast he would stutter or switch to either Dutch or Swedish, he wouldn’t notice the language switch until York told him

Florida and alligators, need I say more?

California was very food picky, most times Texas would cook something for him

York and Jersey would go between each others homes for dinner every weekend, York’s grandparents loved to introduce Jersey to different Italian foods, Jersey’s mothers would do the same to York but with Dutch and Swedish foods

Penn and Virginia would have other states watch Gov during the week, with Mass, Vermont, and Maine watching him on the weekends

Jersey and Del weren’t allowed alone, they would go onto boats and try to take them over, just two probably 7 year old's successfully taking over a British ship

Minnesota and Michigan would trick Wisconsin by swapping places, like the parent trap but with a fellow child and it’s just that child that would fall for it

Florida and Jersey would refuse to believe that English was a real language, when Louisiana came along, he too refused to believe it was real, Jersey was never able to convince Del that it wasn’t real but he was close

York and Jersey were inseparable when Jersey first met Mass and Penn, Jersey couldn’t really understood the English they spoke because accents so York acted as a sort of translator, translating English to different sounding English

I'll be honest, I could probably make this list way way longer but I think this is long enough, might do another list to get more of these down

This is very green, I apologize. Anyway! I tried to draw FloGov in @ciitrusfields <3 art style because I was bored. I hope it turned out okay.

Florida reads so Greyromantic to me, it's insane. I can't fathom him actually being romantically attracted to people very often. Sure, he's been in relationships, but rarely did he have real romantic feelings for them. He has exceptions (for me, that's Louisiana and California), but even those are subdued, unique to him versions of romantic attraction. The feeling of being into someone like that freaks him out a little bit.

This was right before I redesigned California. Florida is having sweet dreams about pretty men. He may be aro, but he's DEFINITELY not ace. I get it, dude. I question my aroace identity for these guys all the time.

I am the world's biggest multishipper, and California is my favorite WTTT character, sooo. I talk a lot about different Cali ships because he deserves love, and I thought, why not make them poly!

My partners and I jokingly call it the "Cali Harem" because we ship so many damn characters with this guy. I have my favorites, but I think he's kissing everyone ever. We have so many dynamics set with more characters than just this. I might post about them. If y'all want headcanons for a particular ship, just shoot me an ask >:]

Could he realistically pull this many people? Absolutely not. Pretentious little bitch boy could never. Would a poly that large realistically work out? Probably not. Do I care? No 😌

Ft. Massachusetts' missing eye. Once again, he's got a cool prosthetic. This one is striped in his flag colors (blue and yellow). So far, I only have this one and the 1776 Prosthetic, and I need ideas for more.

Some Alaska Tradtional Sketches and Headcanons Under the Cut!

He's such a sassy creature. I like drawing him, it's so fun. Plus, the leaning? I think he looms over people to explain things. Hands against the wall behind them or on the chair they're sitting on sort of thing. It's unintentionally intimidating (or attractive, if you're into that!)

It doesn't read very well, but he's doing the wishy-washy / so-so motion with his hand in the second one.

I don't think Alaska's very expressive with his tone (nor face really. His only two expressions are 🙂 and 🤨), but his body language is very exaggerated and easy to read. He moves his shoulders a lot. Much shrugging gets done.

Slightly unrelated headcanon, but I think Alaska's the type to flirt very bluntly. Less subtlety and more "[action] was attractive." or "You looked great doing [action]." Ykwim? That or it's entirely unhinged, no filters, but completely earnest. I don't think he flirts often, but if he does, it's:

California playing drums ( I adore musician Cal)

Alaska, after the set: "Hm."

California: "What?"

Alaska: "I kind of wish I was that drumset."

FL/GA posting again just to say that @ciitrusfields and I have dubbed the ship Peach Rings!

This goes hand in hand with a couple of headcannons we have. The main one is Florida's fixation on the stars.

We have Cape Canaveral here!! And the Kennedy Space Center ( I've been >:] ). Why wouldn't Florida want to launch himself into space?

I think he's a lot more of a hands-on & visual learner, so you won't catch him reading a rocket science textbook. He's surprisingly good at it, though! I think he enjoys fiddling with the spacesuits, controlling rovers, and launching ships. He takes the people he really cares about to go watch Rockets launching with him.

Astronaut Florida supremacy, I say. (< This would come with art, and I have a drawing prepared, but that is in a very different context and will have to wait. Soon, though. Very soon).

He is also very knowledgeable about constellations and compares things to stars and planets when he's feeling a bit sentimental. He's smarter than people think he is and very observant.

Got sidetracked, anyway. If you take that headcannon into consideration, you can take the rings of Saturn (and other planets) and pair it with Georgia’s peaches. Giving you Peach Rings!

helloooo! of course, my bf ( @vankassian ) brought this to my attention!!! as a poc (an asian, specifically pinoy) myself, i have so many of these - pennsylvania - dutch & filipino - new york - italian, jewish, cuban & dominican (you can't deny the guy is a melting pot too with all of the people that come to his one city) - florida - puerto rican, cuban & haitian - california - mexican & filipino - maryland - jamaican & african-american - louisiana - cajun (duh), haitian & african-american (as @vankassian said, why not have TWO creoles?) - new mexico - mexican & native - georgia - african-american (there is definitely more to him i just dont know yet) i imagine most of them to be poc!! i just havent stuck specific ethnicities onto most of them. but here are the ones i have practically solidified! side note: the NE are my bbgs, but most of them are like WHITE

PLEASE please tell me your diversity (PoC states) headcanons, there’s so many white boys in there and my face blindness is struggling and I swear every time there is diversity for a state it’s just them as a different kind of white
