Zach Mitchell | Jurassic World | Not my gif | Requested
Requests are OPEN
Can I have a Zach Mitchell imagine when he takes me somewhere romantic for my birthday please? Announcements: I hope this is what you wanted! I hope you enjoy and Happy Birthday!!! :-) Warnings: None
Today is going to be a great day. It was your birthday and nothing could bring you down, especially since your boyfriend, Zach, was coming over and said he had the entire day mapped out. You didn’t know what he had planned, but you were happy just because you would get to spend the day with him. The two of you met at the theme park, Jurassic World, on the unfortunate day Mother Earth decided to show the world, once again, who was boss. He had given you his phone number and, miraculously, the two of you lived relatively close. You were suddenly pulled out of your memories by a knock on the front door. You looked at yourself in the mirror one last time, straightened out your clothes, and headed out of your room. Smiling, you bounced over and opened the door to see Zach standing on the front porch. He looked up at you as soon as the door opened and out came his thousand watt smile.
“Hey, Y/N,” he said, pulling out a small bouquet of flowers behind his back, “Happy Birthday!”
Stepping out and closing the door behind you, you took the flowers and looked at Zach, a smile on your lips, “Thanks, Zach, this really means a lot to me.”
You pulled him into a tight hug, careful not to crush the flowers, “Of course! And this isn’t even the best part,” he pulled back and led you toward his car. “I have the whole day planned. Lunch - there’s that new restaurant you wanted to check out - then I thought we could do a movie, maybe some shopping, anything you want to do, we could do. It’s your special day.”
So, that’s exactly what the two of you did. Lunch was amazing, Zach apparently told the staff it was your birthday and soon they came out and sang, all while he smiled and took numerous photos.
“That’s my Y/N,” he had said, “They might be another year older but they don’t look a day over 80!”
You playfully looked offended and tossed a breadstick at his face, “You total dork.”
The movie was great as well, snuggling into your boyfriends arms, the two of you completely entranced and at peace. The shopping was nice as well, you even took some photo booth pictures, making faces at the camera while laughing and trying to outdo eachtother. You couldn’t ask for a better day.
Currently the two of you were leaning against each other, taking a nice stroll through the park, watching the sun slowly sink behind the earth. Your hands were intertwined and nothing in the world could pull you out of your calm trance. Well, maybe dinosaurs, but that was for another day. Soon a pond came into sight and gently, Zach led you over the hill and to the waterfront. As soon as it came into view, you almost stopped and gasped.
Near the waterfront, someone, probably Zach, you thought, had set a small blanket on the ground, a picnic basket sitting in the center. You looked over at your boyfriend, who was smiling brightly at you, glad that you liked his handiwork.
“Oh, Zach, it’s wonderful!”
He chuckled before saying, “Like I said, it’s your special day and I would do anything to keep that smile on your face. I, uh, I hope it’s not too cheesy, I mean I know that-”
You quickly cut him off by placing a small kiss on his lips. The two of you stood there, completely quiet, before you stepped away again, “Zach Mitchell, this is the most lovely thing in the world. Today was amazing and of course it’s cheesy, you are, in fact, a major cheese ball. But, you know what? You’re my cheese ball. So are you going to stand there, or are you gonna help me eat my birthday dinner?”
You walked over and sat down on the fuzzy blanket, not noticing he was shaking his head, looking at you with love in his eyes. Soon he regained consciousness and sat down next to you, “So, you do like it?”
You chuckled and looked over at him, “Of course I like it, cheese ball.”
“Am I really that cheesy?”
Leaning over, you kissed him after every word to emphasize your point, “One hundred percent. All. American. Cheesy goodness.”
The two of you laughed and started eating dinner, which, you must say, wasn’t half bad. There was much talk about the simple things of life as you just enjoyed each other’s company. Soon, after you were finished eating, some candles were broken out and, carefully, as to not set yourselves on fire, you lied down next to one another and gazed up at the stars, continuing your conversation, occasionally being interrupted by one of you pointing out a constellation.
Looking over, you saw Zach looking up at the sky while still talking about the morality of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets when you realized something. You loved him. You smiled and thought about how you never wanted to leave this one moment in time, hoping you could both just stay star gazing for the rest of time. You realized that he really was your cheese ball, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Today really was a great day, you thought, smiling to yourself, an absolutely amazing day.
One-Shot: Could you do a one shot of Jurassic from Zach’s point of view, where he’s sneaking out to go out at night but Owen catches him and pulls him by the ear back to house? Announcement: I hope you all enjoy! Warnings: Mild language, just to be safe. Mention of alcohol
The house was quiet, the only sounds were the even breathing of the sleeping forms and the quiet footsteps of the sneakiest person in the world, me. I mean really, I could be a freakin ninja I’m being so stealthy. Gray and I are spending some time with Aunt Claire and Owen while our parents are on a couples retreat trying to save their marraige. It isn’t so bad, Claire has a pretty nice house. The only downside is that Owen and Claire are being all mushy gushy around eachother. To be honest it wasn’t all that hard to sneak past them when they were buried in each others eyes.
I slowly made my way down the stairs, avoiding the creaky ones, and on to the carpeted ground floor. I held my breath for a few moments, listening for anyone who might be getting a late night snack. It was around 10 at night and I’m about to hit the town with some friends. I made my way to the front door and oh so quietly turned the lock and opened the door. With the door safely closed behind me I allowed myself a small chuckle and started walking down the block where I told my friends to pick me up.
Still with a smile on my face I made it as far as the end of the driveway, when I heard him.
“Zach? I thought you were in your room? Where are you going, kid?” Owen said.
I cursed in my head and turned around. Sure enough, Owen was on the other side of Claire’s car, working on his stupid motorcycle.
“Oh, nothing, y'know, just coming outside for some fresh air-”
It was at this exact moment when the idiots I call friends decided to drive up and start yelling, “Hey man! Hurry up, we about to get fu- Oh, dude! Is that your dad? Let’s get our of here!”
And with that clever remark, they sped off, leaving me with a very confused and slightly angry Owen. He suddenly looked like he put two and two together and started glaring at me.
“You were sneaking out? To do what?”
The ground suddenly looked real interesting as I replied quietly, “Just a party at a friends house, it’s no big deal, I wouldn’t have gotten drunk or anything.”
“There would have been alcohol? I don’t really have any authority around here, but I think I am correct in assuming you’re grounded.”
I sighed, “Oh what ever will I do.”
That seemed to set him off. All of a sudden Owen stood up and made his way over to me, wasting no time in grabbing my ear like you would see in a movie and dragging me into the house. It would have almost been comical if I didn’t think my ear was going to be ripped off.
When we got inside Owen led, well, dragged me into the living room and told me to sit on the couch.
I only thought one thing. Aunt Claire is gonna kill me.
One-Shot: You have so many requests but if you have the time could you maybe write a Zach Mitchell one shot where it’s just a normal day at the park and you and Zach are supposed to watch Grey but Owen doesn’t like the idea of you two doing it because you are dating. But you do it anyways and end up losing Gray while like flirting or being all lovey dovey and they have to find him somewhere? I love your one shots and imagines awhh Announcements: I hope you all enjoy this one! It was fun to wright. Warnings: None, I’m pretty sure. Maybe mild language, it depends on who you are.
Crap.
Oh crap.
Crrraaaaap.
Hmmm, yeah… no. This is not a good thing that is happening at this very moment in time. You and your boyfriend, Zach, were supposed to be looking after his little brother, Gray. And, well… as you had said, crap. He was gone. Off into the great big sea of tropical shirts and fanny packs.
You should have listened to Owen, he told you and Zach that it might have not have been the best idea to watch Gray since you and Zach were dating. And as always he was correct. But, as they say, hindsight is 20-20. You tore at your hair with anxiety and started looking around franticly and
“Zach, Zach, we need to tell someone, ok? We need to tell someone and then they can help find him and-”
Zach grabbed you lightly by the shoulders, “Hey, hey, calm down, ok? It’s not like he can stay lost for very long. And we don’t need to tell anyone, ok? My mom would kill me and then my aunt. I can not be responsible for another persons death. Now, lets go,” and with that, you began to walk around, calling Gray’s name.
—-
It all started about an hour ago. It was a normal day for Jurassic World, sweaty park goers and screaming children. Claire had been called in to work suddenly and Owen was busy with his Velociraptors so she had asked Zach and you to watch over Gray. Owen really didn’t think it was a good idea because the two of you had been long distance dating and finally, after months, had gotten to see each other in person again after your father, Owen had gotten this job.
“C'mon, dad. It’s just for one day, and besides, whats so bad about us watching Gray.”
Owen sighed, “Because, you are a couple of in love teenagers that are gonna get distracted and lose him.”
You groaned, “I promise we won’t be that distracted, plus, you have to go to work so…”
He din’t say anything for a moment, “Fine, just don’t lose the kid please.”
You smiled in victory, “I promise. Now bye!”
“Bye,” he said, unconvinced.
—-
A few minutes later you had met up with Zach and Gray and went off to see a few of the animal exhibits, Gray geeking out and Zach and you staring longingly into each others eyes. At least thats what it seemed like. Right now you were freaking out and couldn’t remember of the details. The three of you were sitting around the fountain near the entrance to take a break. You do vaguely remember Gray asking for the two of you to hurry up so they could go see more dinosaurs, but again, Zach and you were lovey doveying up the place.
“I really missed you,” you said.
“I missed you too,” he replied.
After a minute of you two catching up, you looked around and noticed that there was a Gray shaped hole in the immediate area around you.
You tapped Zach’s arm, “Hey, where is Gray? Wasn’t he just here?”
“You sure? Maybe he just went to the bathroom or something.”
“No, now that I think about it, I haven’t seen him in a couple minutes.”
The two of you realized what happened and looked at each other slowly, “Crap.”
—-
And now here you were, the two of you were looking for the smaller boy and yelling his name around the park. You went to each of the exhibits, even to the small petting zoo, but you couldn’t find him.
You looked over at Zach, who was looking more worried by the minute, “Hey, you said, its gonna be ok. We’ll find, him, I mean, it’s not like he could have gotten eaten by anything. Heck, maybe he’s in the lost and found?”
He sighed and looked over at you, “We’ve already looked there, remember?”
“Yeah, I know. Oh, uh, what about the Rex exhibit? We haven’t checked there, right?”
“Yeah, right. Lets go.”
—-
Zach and you squinted in the low light, looking around people and trying to not be distracted by the goat outside the observatory being devoured. You tried sorting through the sounds, trying to hear the familiar voice of Gray. All of a sudden, Zach grabbed your hand and led you to the front of the crowed. You instantly let out a breath of relief as you saw the shaggy blond head of Gray.
“There you are, you little squirt!” Zach yelled over the tells of delight from the crowed, “You can’t just disappear like that, we were worried.”
The three of you made your way to the back of the crowed to have a bit more privacy, “We’ve been looking everywhere for you,” you began, “Why did you just run off?”
The younger Mitchell looked down, “I told you I was leaving. It was you two that didn’t listen because you were too busy with yourselves.”
Zach and you looked at each other in guilt, “We’re sorry, Gray. We just haven’t seen each other in a very long time and, well, we got a little distracted. I’m sorry,” you said.
Zach stepped in a moment later, “Yeah, sorry. I promise that we’ll stop being completely distracted, ok? But you can’t ever run off again, ok? Also, we’re not gonna tell mom, or Aunt Claire, ok?”
You cut in quickly, “Or my dad. Ever. We gotta pinkie promise.”
Zach smiled over at you, “Yup. It’s our little secret.”
The two of you looked hopefully down at Gray, who squinted at the both of you, “Fine, but I get half of your souvenir money and the employee discount.”
“Deal,” Zach and you said simultaneously.
He smiled deviously and stuck out his pinkie, then Zach, and then you, shaking on it while the T-Rex let out a huff from outside.
Pinkie promises are no joke.
One-Shots: Can I have a Zach Mitchell imagine when it’s my birthday and he takes me somewhere romantic? Please Announcements: Hope you all enjoy this one! Warnings: None
You ran your hands through your hair and yawned, making your way outside of the hotel and into the humid night air. You began to look around for your boyfriend, Zach, who had texted you to come outside. You started to yawn again when someone jumped in front of you. Instead of yawning you let out a strangled cry of surprise and jumped back.
“Yeesh, scaredy cat,” Zach said, coming out of the shadows, “I wasn’t being that creepy.”
You let out a breath and slugged your boyfriend in the arm, “You were totally being creepy! Like, serial killer creepy! What are you doing?”
He laughed and wrapped his arm around your shoulders, “Eh, well, what better day to make you fear for your life then your birthday! And besides, I needed to grab your attention. Because, since I am the best boyfriend ever, I’m taking to a nice place.”
You squinted at him, “What place is gonna be open this late in an amusement park?”
“It’s not a restaurant… exactly, but I’m gonna cover your eyes.”
“Ok, now we’re going back into serial killer territory, where are we going?”
“No spoilers,” Zach said, whilst wrapping a piece of cloth around your eyes.
“You run me into something and I swear I will kick you in the shins,” you commented after he took your hand and began walking.
“I would expect nothing less.”
After a few minutes of silence and more walking, Zach stopped suddenly, causing you to bump into the back of him. You furrowed your eyebrows and walked backwards, trying not to fall over in the process.
“Can I take this off now?” You asked.
“Allow me, m'lady,” he replied.
You felt the cloth being untied and then moving away from your face. Blinking quickly to make your eyes adjust to the low light, you let out a small gasp. In front of you there was a large fluffy blanket with dinosaurs on it, probably from the gift shop, and on it was a small picnic, with some candles strewn about.
You smiled brightly and turned to Zach, “Oh, it’s wonderful. This is really sweet, you didn’t have to do this, y'know.”
“Of course I did! Why wouldn’t I? Your the best friend I’ve ever had, and, well, I love you,” he said quietly.
You grabbed his hand and sat on the blanket, careful not to set anything on fire, and then kissed him on the cheek, “I love you too. Now, whats for dinner?”
He smiled at you, “Uh, well, obviously I didn’t have anything to cook, so,” he took two containers of take-out food and handed one to you, “I got some stuff from that restaurant we saw earlier.”
“Even more romantic,” you said, taking the food.
The two of you sat there for the rest of the night, talking and looking at the island and the stars, while finishing mediocre park food. You almost fell asleep right then and there if Zach hadn’t told you to go to bed for real. While in the elevator you smiled sleepily and chuckled softly at nothing in particular.
Well, maybe one thing, or, should you say, person.
One-Shot: Is it ok to request a one shot based off an existing imagine (secretly dating Zach and having your father Owen find out)? Thank you, great blog :) Announecements: I realize I am a bad person and I’m so sorry for not posting for so long again. But I love you all my precious peoples! Please enjoy :-) Warnings: None
“Alright Y/N, I’m heading out to work, try not to die while I’m out!”
You chuckled to yourself and shouted back down the hall, “No promises! Bye dad!”
You paused and listened, hearing the front door shut and your dad, Owen, start up his old motorcycle and leave. You hurried, got showered, dressed, and put your shoes on before making your way out of the Bungalow. Grabbing your bike you started to make your way to the docks.
Before you had come to the island you had met Zach and one thing led to another and boom, relationship. It had been a struggle ever since your father had gotten his really super cool job at Jurassic World and had to move to the island but miraculously, the both of you had stayed in contact. But, because your father was so protective, there really was no choice but to keep the relationship a secret. You pushed back the slight sadness of having to lie to your dad as you started thinking about today. Today was the day that Zach and his little brother, Gray, were coming to Jurassic World for a vacation and to visit their Aunt Claire. To be honest, this was the greatest coincidence ever. You stashed your bike at the usual place and walked into the bustling crowed of vacationing families, looking back and forth for the other teenagers.
Finally, you saw the disgruntled looking face of your boyfriend and the happy face of his brother, “Hey guys! Over here.”
Their heads snapped up and over to your position, immediately both of them started to smile.
“Y/N!” Zach said, walking up and hugging you.
Wow, you thought, this is your first hug from him in a long while. You forced yourself from him in fear that you would just stay there forever and placed your hands on your hips.
“C'mon,” you said, smiling, “I’ll show you to the hotel and then we can get you some VIP passes. Courtesy of my boss, your awesome aunt.”
The two boys shared a glance and turn their attention back to you.
“It’s really nice to actually see your face and not through a computer screen, Y/N,” Zach said, “Ive missed you so much.”
You softly pecked him on the cheek and then looked him in his soft, warm eyes, “I’ve really missed you too. And hey! Now we have a whole bunch of time to spend together! At least the days my dad is at work which is most of the time so-”
“Wait,” Zach interrupted, “I thought that you had told your dad.”
You grinned guiltily, “It might have slipped… ok, I didn’t tell him. But it’s not because I’m ashamed of you or anything! It’s just that, well, if he found out I really don’t know how he’d react.” You looked down at your shoes, “I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry, I don’t want you to have to lie to your dad, you should tell him at some point.”
“I know, I know, and I will, ok? Maybe once you’re safely off the island and a couple hundred miles out.”
He smiled softly and wrapped his arms around your shoulders, “Sounds good.”
You chuckled and turned your attention over to Gray, who had, for some odd, unknown reason, lost interest in the date talk.
“You ready to go see some dinosaurs?”
The smaller boy perked up instantly, “Finally! Now c'mon! We’re wasting daylight,” and with that, he began to jog ahead of you.
“He just sucks the energy right out of ya and uses it for his own purposes, doesn’t he?” Zach asked.
You laughed again, “C'mon, grumpy Gus,” And began pulling him in the direction of the hyper-active child.
—-
It was around the time after the T-Rex exhibit, that Gray finally asked, “Hey, Y/N?”
You looked over at him, “Yeah?”
“What does your dad do on the island?”
You shrugged a little bit, faking boredom, “Oh, y'know, he just trains a pack of wild Velociraptors, the normal stuff, I guess,” You smiled when you saw his face light up with wonder.
“Ooh, really? Can we go see them?”
Your smile dropped a bit, “Oh, um, I don’t know if…” you trailed off as you saw that look of excitement drop off his face, it broke your heart. No kid needs to have their dreams snuffed out, even if they involved sneaking around your fathers workplace with your contraband boyfriend.
“I don’t know if I can wait! Lets go,” you finally said, after sighing.
Zach looked over at you with a surprised look on his face, expecting you to say something different, “Are you sure? I thought that your dad didn’t know about us, really, we don’t have to go.”
You looked over at him with a nervous smile, “Ahh, what the heck? We’ll just need to do a bit of sneaking, and if we get caught then I’ll just say I’m giving you guys a private tour cause you’re the boss’ nephews. I’m sure everything will go ok.”
—-
The three of you stood just towards the edge of the jungle before the gigantic clearing the held the large arena for the Raptor training.
“Ok,” you said, and began pointing out specific places, “We’ll just run over behind that crate over there, and then over to that little alcove just over there and wait there for a little bit until they start doing something with the Raptors, got it?” After seeing them nod you continued, “Remember, if anyone asks who you are, you’re with me, alright? Alright, lets go,” and took off towards the crate.
Once the boys got there you looked around again and dashed off towards the ground level viewing area, and stepped to the side to catch your breath. The boys got there and only moments later you heard the familiar sound of the big gates sliding open and the sound of a pig’s squealing becoming louder.
You motioned them to crouch down, “Ooh, hey, its about to start. C'mon!”
The three of of you watched in awe as the four, sleek, reptilian bodies came into view, their lethality showing in their movements. Gray had his mouth wide open, and even Zach looked slightly excited.
“And we’re moving!” You looked up, squinting against the harsh sun, and smiled.
Your father started walking across the cat-walk, clicking the little think in his hand and speaking to the pack of Velociraptors.
Finally, after about a minute, “And, go!”
You smiled wider, “Go dad!” you whispered under your breath.
“That was awes-” Gray began.
“Shhh!” Zach and you hissed at the same time.
“Sorry,” he mumbled.
You glanced around quickly and stood up, “Ok guys, time to go, lets hur-”
“Who are you? You’re not supposed to be- Y/N? What are you doing here? And who are you two?”
You froze and tensed up, “Hey, dad.”
Standing up fully you turned around and grimaced, “Um these two are, um, Claire’s’ nephews. She was wondering if I could, take, them… on… a private-”
“I don’t care if the president wanted you to take someone on a private tour. You know you’re not supposed to be here without my permission and someone to supervise you!”
He turned to Zach and Gray, looking sternly at the both of them, “Now the three of you need to leave right now, got it?”
The two of them shook their heads quickly while you sighed and looked down.
“Now, who are the two of you again?” He asked.
You started answering for them, but was cut off, by a terrified Zach, “I’m a boyfriend- I mean, their boyfriend, I mean, no, I’m not, oh god just shut up, I-”
You looked at him in disbelief, mouth slightly ajar.
“Excuse me?” Owen asked quietly, “What did you just say. Cause it sounded like you just said-”
“He’s my boyfriend, dad, and, it’s been going on for a couple months now and I just didn’t tell you because I knew you would over-react and… I’m sorry.”
You swear you could see the man’s eye twitch, “Wha- I just- why would you- I- Wow.”
You started to worry, you thought that he was maybe having a stroke or a heart attack, or something, “I’m sorry, dad, but I love him and I didn’t know what to do.”
Your father said what you were thinking at the exact same time you thought it.
“You’re grounded.”
One-Shot: Could you do a Zach Mitchell One-Shot where you like each other and fall out of touch but meet again in college when you both end up studying science because he is now interested in dinosaurs and you want to be a geneticist and work at Jurassic World. Announcements: I am really sorry about not updating in so long. I’ve have been swamped with homework and other school things. Im hoping to get another story out but I really don’t know. But thanks you guys for staying with me, I really do appreciate it. Thanks guys, enjoy! Warnings: None
You had seen him last on the island, the one where all of the dinosaurs had gotten out and started to terrorize the people. Somehow you had ended up with him, his brother, his aunt, and his aunt’s… ‘coworker’ that last night before the boats came. And now, he was here, just a few yards away being hugged goodbye by his parents and brother. Once they got back into their car and drove off he looked around, finally noticing you staring at him. It took a moment, but finally his eyes lit up with recognition. He smiled and started making his way over to you.
Now that it had been a few years you could finally admit that the last fight between all of the dinosaurs was actual pretty… awesome. For some reason seeing all of those creatures, who had been dead for millions of years, and according to Claire, one wasn’t even a real dinosaur until quite recently, had just sparked your fascination more then it ever had been before. Thats why you were here, at such a prestigious college as this one, to study genetics. You wanted to create as great of things as the dinosaurs in that park, you wanted to create something that would bring happiness and wonder to everyone around the world.
You smiled at Zach who stopped walking in front of you, “Hey there, dino boy.”
“Dino boy, nice… so what are you doing here?”
“I am looking for an education actually. What’s your major?”
“Archeology,” he chuckled when you saw the look on your face, “Yeah, now that I’ve had some time to process what happened at the park I’ve realized that dinosaurs are pretty cool. I just want to know more about them, y'know? Whats yours?”
“No, yeah, thats pretty cool. It’s just that, I was thinking pretty much the same thing, except I’m going into genetics, maybe work at Jurassic World when it reopens, bring some more fascination into this world.”
He looked around and leaned in with mock horror, “Please, just, no new dinosaurs… like… ever.”
“No promises,” you whispered back.
The two of you laughed at that and went silent for a moment. Nothing happened as the two of you watched other students say goodbye to their families and try to find their dorm rooms. Finally your eyes made their ways back to each other, and you both smiled again.
“So,” you started, “It was real nice seeing you again. We should get together some time, catch up maybe.”
“Yeah, um, yeah, that sounds great, I’ll uh, get your number?”
“Of course,” you grabbed a pen from your bag and then his hand, “Call sometime soon, maybe. It really was nice seeing that you didn’t get eaten by anything else since we last saw each other.”
“Yeah, being eaten by anything else would have just been… anticlimactic.”
The two of you waved one last time and said farewell for now. Wow, you thought, he is a cute one. After that you joined the little group of people looking like lost tourists to try and find your dorm.
—-
A few weeks later, after getting all settled in with your classes and a new roomie, your phone buzzed. Looking at the caller ID you saw that it said UNKNOWN.
Flipping it open you said, “Hellllllllo, this is Y/N and you are a go.”
“Uh, yeah, hi. This is Zach, I was just wondering if you wanted to get coffee or something?”
“Oh, uh, when?”
“Maybe now I guess?”
“Mmmm, no good. I am completely swamped at the moment. How about tomorrow? At lunch?”
“Yeah, that sounds great! At that little place across the street?”
“Sounds good, see you then.”
“Yeah, see ya!”
You were just about to hang up the phone and go back to homework when shouting came from the phone, “Oh, wait! Earlier, I didn’t say, but it was really nice seeing you again too.”
You smiled, “Later Dino Boy.”
—-
After you cleaned up and got out of the dorm, breathing your first breath of fresh air in what seems like a year, you made your way to across the street, seeing Zach outside the door. Smiling, the two of you went inside, ordered your respective coffees, and sat down. For about an hour the two of you talked about family life and other things, catching up, laughing at the others story. After that you had to say your goodbyes, having more homework and studying to do. Although you promised to get more coffee sometime soon.
After long years of rigorous work, the two of you graduated, you went to work for Jurassic World and so did Zach, although he worked far away from the actual dinosaurs. The two of you still go out for coffee all the time as well.
Anything else would have been… anticlimactic.
*Gifs not mine
One-Shot: Can you do a one shot where the reader is with Zach and Gray in the back of the truck when the velociraptors are chasing them and idk, the reader almost falls out of the vehicle or whatever while trying to scare away the raptors and Zach saves her and they kiss, idk? There aren’t much Zach imagines, and he’s like, the loml
You basically fell down when the woman named Claire told you and her nephews to get into the back of the truck. Today had been a really long freaking day, mostly involving trying to not get eaten by any number of dinosaurs, and you had just about had enough of it.
You had gotten together and started fighting for your life with the boys when you were stupid enough and tried to investigate a hole in the fence and fell in. Whatever propelled the glass ball you were in wasn’t strong enough to get back up the steep hill so you turned around and went to find another way in, and thats when you saw them, in another ball just across a clearing containing five dinosaurs. You had tried to signal them about the big white one behind them but it was too late. While they slipped out from a hole in the glass you had decided it would be better to stick with them and climbed out of the door and raced after the boys. The three of you ended up jumping off of a small cliff and into a large pool of blue water until whatever kind of dinosaur that was went away.
After surviving that and then the Pterodactyls, you all thought it was best to stick together. And now here you were, all safe and sound in the back of the metal walled truck. You, Zach, and Gray all knew about the plan to use the Raptors to track the white beast and were trying to cram into the tiny window to see what was happening on Claire’s tablet. After a few minutes or so, they found it, and just when it was getting to the good part Claire decided that you were all too young to see what was going to happen next, which was probably for the best.
You and the boys were talking when suddenly the truck doors flew open and a man wearing body armor burst in, “Run! They’re coming, run-” and then he was pounced on by one of Owen’s Raptors and taken away.
All of you started yelling at Claire to get moving and almost fell out when the truck shot off. That didn’t concern the Raptors one bit though, as they used their speed and kept gaining on the moving vehicle.
You and Zach looked at each other, seemingly thinking the same thing, that you needed to defend yourselves. The two of you got up, careful not to fall out, and looked for something heavy. Zach grabbed what looked like an air tank, so you grabbed the second one. At the same time you heaved the objects out of the door, trying to aim for the reptilian figures. They sidestepped them as easily as walking around a pole on a sidewalk.
You both of you slumped down, out of ideas, when Gray yelled form behind you, “Hey! What about these?” He held up what looked like a two pronged taser.
“Yeah!” Zach said, “Turn it on, turn it on!”
“I don’t know how,” Gray replied.
Zach glanced at you, “You ok?”
“I’m fine, just go!”
You looked around for other things to throw and grabbed one of the metal boxes you had been sitting on earlier and was just about to toss it when the truck made a violent jerk to the left, tossing you off balance.
You were just about to fall over and into the grips of an awaiting Raptor when you were yanked back by the hem of your pants and into safety. Zach pulled you in and swung you around into his arms, there was a moment where it was just the two of you, standing there and looking at each other. Then, without even thinking, you smashed your lips into his, being a part of what seemed the longest and best kiss ever. Finally, the two of you parted and looked at each other, “Wow,” he said, “That was, um, it was-”
“Gross for all other parties in the back of this truck,” Gray interrupted, “And really bad timing, now come on!”
Zach glanced at you went and turned the taser thing on, taking out another one of the Raptors. You grabbed the second one and did the same thing with another one, this time making an effort to stay in the truck. When it seemed that all the Raptors were gone for now all three of you slumped down, adrenaline levels dropping back to normal.
Soon, you all met up with Owen and tried to get off the island. That didn’t work too well, but after Claire brought in the T-Rex everything else went pretty smoothly.
After all dinosaurs were gone and everyone was safe and being patched up, you went over to where Zach was sitting, “Hey,” you said, “Thanks for keeping me from being Raptor food.”
He looked up at you, “Oh yeah, um, yo- you’re welcome, I guess? I mean it was- it wouldn’t have been fun for any of us if you became Raptor food. I mean, you’re like, really cool.”
You smiled, “Thanks, you’re really cool too.”
There was a moment of silence, “So,” Zach began, “I was just wondering if, y'know, when we got out of here if you wanted to, get together some time? See a movie or whatever?”
“I would love to,” you said, grabbing a pen someone had left behind and writing your number on his hand. “Once you get a phone again, call me sometime and we can make it a date, I guess.”
He smiled, “Yeah, awesome.”
Wow, you thought, maybe you should fall out of the back of trucks more often.
ONE-SHOT: Can you do a one shot when you’re visiting your dad Owen at Jurassic World and Zach ends up falling in love with you ONE-SHOT: Imagine your Owen’s daughter and Zach falls in love with you ONE-SHOT: Would you please do a one shot where you’re Owen’s daughter and a super badass and at one point you save Zach’s life by fighting a dinosaur and he totally falls in love with you ANNOUNCEMENTS: I paired these three requests up because they were all pretty similar so I hope you all like it! WARNINGS: Maybe a little violence but thats it really
Your face crunched up as the ocean spray splashed up and over the side of the boat. Blinking the salty water out of your eyes you were finally able to see the up and coming Isla Nublar, the famous Jurassic World. You smiled nervously, you were coming here to begin living with your father, Owen Grady, the Velociraptor trainer. It had taken this long because he didn’t really know if he would be staying or not, but he did, and at first he changed from coming to the island and back home but eventually he just stayed on the island and left you with your neighbor, the most boring person on Earth. At first you didn’t like the thought of him working at a place who messed this up the first time 22 years ago, but you soon realized that he could handle himself just like he had taught you to do.
Once you got off of the boat you looked around the docks through the churning sea of people and finally saw your father surveying the crowed. His eyes locked with yours and brightened up. Making your way over to him the two of you instantly embraced in a warm hug.
“Hey there!” He took you by the shoulders and looked at you, “My gosh, it has been too long. I’m really sorry that it has taken this long for me to get you to the island but I’ve just been so busy and-”
You laughed, cutting him off, “It’s fine, really. What you should be sorry about is leaving me with Ms. Wyatt for an entire year. You do realize that the only thing she has for fun is a television and that somehow only get the crocheting channels.” He winced, “Yeah… but hey! People say those things will rot your brain y'know! Besides, I don’t have a tv at all.”
“Yeah, but you live on an island full of dinosaurs.”
“True. Now lets get going, I still have a few more hours of work but I’ll introduce you to the Raptors and then I’ll have someone drop you off at the bungalow and then you can explore the park.”
You through your fist in the air in celebration, “Yes!”
Instead of getting on the monorail to the park the two of you took a jeep with the parks logo on it and headed down a dirt road. The two of you had a little catching up to do but not much, I mean, he only called you basically every day so there wasn’t much you hadn’t covered in those calls. Eventually the bumpy road came to an end next to a large concrete structure. To be honest it wasn’t that impressive but you could still barely contain your excitement, I mean, actual Velociraptors! Not skeletons or pictures in a textbook but real, living, breathing animals! The two of you hopped out of the car and into humid jungle weather and made your way over to the bottom of some metal stairs.
“Ok,” he said, “I don’t usually let random people up here so if anyone asks you’re with me,”
“Got it.”
The metal clanked under your boots as the two of you made your way up the stairs and onto a cat-walk that overlooked a jungle filled enclosure.
“Oh, and by the way,” Owen started, “Don’t fall over please, in fact, hold onto the railing, please.”
“I’m not gonna fall over, chill,” you said taking a hold of the railing anyway.
That seemed to satisfy him as he started what ever he was doing. A pig squealed through followed by 4 other things that you couldn’t quite see until they came to a stop right beneath you. The breath caught in your chest and you smiled brightly, there they were, 4 Velociraptors, all big and powerful and deadly. Your father called out some commands and they actually listened, go this way, that way, and finally he gave them all treats, the one named Blue getting a little white rat.
“And, go!” he said finally and the Raptors went sprinting back into hiding.
“That,” you said with wide eyes, “Was, awesome!”
He laughed and the two of you made your way back down the stairs. He introduced you to one of the other workers and said that they would be taking you to the park for some exploring. Once you were at the park you felt kind of lost. You had never been alone in a place as big as this before, but that was ok, you would be able to handle yourself. And besides, what could really go wrong?
—-
You jinxed it, you thought to yourself as you ran through a crowed of screaming people as they tried to keep from being Pterodactyl food. You just had to open your big fat mouth at say something as stupid as, ‘what could possibly go wrong?’ so, so stupid. You could barely make out one person from another as you tried to find a safe spot. And all you could really do for your father is hope that he wasn’t dead.
Suddenly, a few of the beasts started falling to the ground, one landed near you and you saw something sticking out of its side, a dart. Looking up you saw a few people scattered throughout the crowed with dart guns, aiming at anything flying. One of the men was taken from behind, screaming as he went up and dropping his gun, and without a second thought, you grabbed it and started aiming at the beasts too. All of a sudden, two boys ran in front of you, one about your age and one a few years younger than you. They went to the large fence that kept people from falling in with the Mosasaur, looking at something that you couldn’t quite make out. In doing this they were in plain view of everything that thought to try and look for food, and soon, a few of the Pterodactyls were swooping for them.
You ran to get a better shot and started taking out those things left and right, all the while the two boys just looked at you in awe. You couldn’t blame them though, you were being pretty freaking awesome right now.
When the air was clear for the moment, you looked at them, “C'mon, don’t just stand there, lets go!”
They got up and start running with you while you tried to look for anyone who familiar, all the while shooting anything that flew. All of a sudden the boy about your age tugged on your shirt and pointed to a redheaded lady standing on a car. You nodded and followed him towards the direction of the lady, and almost shouted with joy. Right next to her was Owen, keeping an eye on the lady and making sure she wasn’t carried off. Suddenly though, he was tackled by one of the flying beasts, barely fighting it off from biting his face off, you raised your gun, ready to shoot, but was beaten to the point by the redheaded lady.
The three of you kids jogged over to them, they hugged the lady and you went and about tackled Owen. It was a quick moment though, as the panic was not yet over. Your father led the way to a company jeep and all of you watched as people broke through the gate and flooded past the car. For now at least, you were all safe and could take a breath.
“Can we stay with you?” said the younger brother.
“Trust me guys, I am never leaving you again,” replied the redhead
They both started at once, “No, no, we meant them.”

The rest of the day pretty much sucked also, the raptors temporarily found a new Alpha which sucked for a lot of people, then this big fight between the I-Rex, T-Rex, Raptors, and Mosasaur, but then, you saw your dad’s heart break when his last remaining Raptor, Blue went back into the wild of the jungle. But, even with a few cuts and bruises, everyone made it out alive. Currently you were walking around an 'infirmary’, helping people find their families and things like that. You saw the boys and the redheaded lady you found out was named Claire, and signaled Owen you were going over there. Claire stood up and went over to your father and you took her spot right next to the boys.
“Hey,” the one named Zach said.
“Hi,” you replied.
Gray looked at the two of you and sighed, “I’ll just be over there then.”
“So,” he started, “Thanks, for, y'know, keeping us alive back there.”
“Ah,” you said sarcastically, “It’s was nothing, really.”
The two of you chuckled at that one, “Hey. So, I was just, I was gonna ask that, um, if you wanted, to, like-”
You cut him off by taking his hand and grabbing a pen, “I would love to, here’s my number, call me sometime maybe.” And with that, you got up and started helping your father again who had just apparently had a similar moment with Claire.
Maybe you should jinx things more often.
One-Shot: Can I please have a one-shot with Zach from Jurassic world where the reader is his girlfriend and plus size. And he keeps looking at the other girl so she hangs out with Gray then when a dinosaur almost kills her he like realizes his mistake please love your imagines Announcements: It’s a few minutes after midnight so technically it’s Monday so I’m sorry for lying about when I would get this out. Hope you guys like it! Warnings: One death, not really put into detail though. “Wow,” You whispered as the island came into view. You looked up at your boyfriend, Zach, and smiled, “Thank you so much. This is amazing.” He smiled slightly back down at you. You know you weren’t the skinniest girl in the world but that apparently didn’t stop him from loving you. And for him to take you along on this trip? To an Island full of dinosaurs? To Jurassic World? You knew that he really did mean it. Zach’s younger brother, Gray, started pushing his way to the front, taking you along with him. You didn’t offer up much of a fight as you had wanted a better look too. Looking back at Zach you noticed him looking around and then something on the below deck catching his attention. You followed his gaze and noticed a group of pretty high school girls giggling and smiling back up at Zach. A little pulse of, something, jealousy, you thought, went off in your heart. You pushed those thoughts to the back of your head though. He’s just being friendly, you decided as your mind was then pulled back to the growing form of Jurassic World. —- Eventually, through a series of events that included meeting the boys’ Aunt, making an escape from a baby dino petting zoo, and a T-Rex eating a goat, you all ended up at a ride that would allow a closer look at the dinosaurs. To you it just looked like a high-tech, human sized hamster ball but you could look the other way. And thats when you saw it. Looking up you saw Zach, looking around again, and again he caught the attention of a group of pretty girls. This time he stared long enough to make you feel sad. You looked at the girls, they were pretty and skinny, unlike you. You frowned and pushed off of his arm lightly and went over to Gray who was next in line. “Hey,” you said, “Need a second rider?” He looked at you, then at Zach, and then back to you, “What about Zach?” “He’ll be fine,” and with that, the two of you got into the hamster ball. You looked back and saw that Zach had gotten into a ball with some random guy, looking confused when he saw you in the other ball. Looking forward again you pressed the handle down and shot forward. Why were you acting like this, you thought, because I’m jealous, ok? About ten minutes in to the ride, a little screen popped up and a voice came over the speakers, “ The ride is now over, please return to docking area immediately.” The two of you looked at each other and groaned, “Ahh man,” You said. All of a sudden your phone started buzzing. Taking it out you saw the name, ‘Zach’. You answered it, “Yeah?” “Hey, you guys see that hole over there? The two of you searched along the large metal fence until you saw it, “Yeah, why?” “Well,” he started, “I mean, I only want the two of you to get your full Jurassic World experience don’t I? I bet there are a ton of Dinosaurs that we aren’t even seeing.” You and Gray frowned, “But the thing says we have to go back. And what about the guy you’re with? "Ehh, he fell asleep. Jet Lag or something. Anyway, we’re VIP’s, we won’t get into trouble. I promise.” Gray started shaking his head, “No, no. I really don’t think that’s a good id-” All of a sudden Zach’s ball went down the hill and through the side of the wall. Wow, you thought, he actually just did that! You groaned and looked over at Gray, whose eyes were wide, “Well, we have to go after him,” and pressed forward after him It didn’t take long to find him and you all found yourselves in a large clearing, staring right at some armor plated dinosaurs. “Alright,” you told him, “We have now seen four more dinosaurs then we had before, now le-” “Five,” Gray interrupted. “What?” you looked over at him, “No, there are only four.” You pointed them out, “One, two, three, four-” “Five,” He said, pointing at a reflection in the glass. You all looked up, Zach too, and what you saw almost made your heart stop beating. It was a very large, very angry looking dinosaur with very sharp teeth. Everyone screamed, which woke up the guy next to Zach and then he also started screaming. It’s claws slammed down on the glass, making it shatter as one deadly talon broke through. It tried shaking you loose but all it did was somehow roll the ball onto its glass top. All of a sudden one of the other four dinosaurs hit it with it’s tail, thankfully taking it’s attention off of you for a moment. You tried to use the controls, but to no avail. You started to panic as you couldn’t find Zach’s ball, but you hoped he was ok. The ball shook as the large dinosaur now found the two of you interesting again. Suddenly the ball raised from the ground, taking you and Gray with it, and slammed back down. This happened two more times until you could grab hold of the belts and release them. You and Gray fell down onto soft dirt and sharp glass as you finally made your escape. Finally, the two of you started running as fast and as hard as your legs could manage, you held on to Gray’s hand for dear life, trying to make sure he was keeping up with you. And that’s how you stayed for what seemed like an eternity, running from a humungous dinosaur. Your breath started to run ragged, Gray pulling ahead of you now. You let go of his hand. You were about to become dino food when Zach came running at you from the side, pushing you out of the way as large white jaws came crashing down to where you once stood. With stranger in tow he said, “This way! Run!” You and Gray changed your course. All of a sudden there was a screaming coming from behind you. Whipping your head around you saw that the man was suddenly jerked up from the ground and thrown to the side. Nothing we can do for him now, you thought. Soon the remaining three of you stood at the top of a short waterfall. “We have to jump,” you said. Gray looked up at you, “What? No, I don’t think I can-” “On three,” Zach intervened, “One… two… Three!” The cold water came up to meet you. You all stayed under water until the beast left, and then came crashing to the surface, gasping for air. Crawling to the surface, Zach looked at you, “Hey, why’d you leave?” “You really want to talk about this now?” “Well, I mean, I just wanted to know is all.” You laughed slightly, your chest rising and falling rapidly, “It’s just, well, ok, heres the thing, I saw you looking at those girls on the boat and then just now at the ride and I got, well, jealous. They were all skinnier than me so, well, I guess I just got insecure.” He placed his hand on your shoulders, “To be honest, I kind of was. But, now, I realize that I was so, so wrong. I love you, alright? You could be the size of the moon and there would still be no one else that could ever compare to you. If I was gonna get stuck being dinosaur bait then I’m glad I’m bait with you.” You smiled at him, all of a sudden hearing a voice next to you, “Well, big brother, that really hurts.” Everyone was silent for a moment, in the next, though, everyone was in stitches. It was all cut off when a loud roar came crashing through the jungle. It sounded close. “We’d better go,” you said. And with that, the three of you began your journey to find somebody who knew what they were doing.
One-Shot request: Imagine Zach saves you, and you end up falling for each other. Annoncements: Thanks everyone! I think I’m getting faster at this! WOO HOO Warnings: POSSIBLE SPOILERS
You didn’t know how this happened, but at the moment you didn’t really care. You were just screaming at yourself for wearing noise canceling headphones when you went to sleep. Of course you knew that you couldn’t have predicted that something was going to get loose and they would have to evacuate the island. You felt a rising panic, what if you missed the evacuation and you were all alone on the island full of loose dinosaurs? Currently you were jogging toward the docks when you heard yelling and inhuman screeches. You whipped your head around and saw something that made you stop in your tracks. Four beat up looking people came running out of the Dino information hall and were surrounded by what looked like Velociraptors. You looked around for something to throw and saw some glass dinosaur figures. Picking one up you more or less aim it at a Raptor and threw it while yelling like a maniac to get their attention. It almost worked, if not for a larger white creature barging in and getting hit instead. It began turning its large head to glare at you, the tiny screaming figure who was now turning silent. “Oh hell,” Was the only thing you got to say before the thing roared and started lumbering towards you. You started running back in the direction of the T-Rex attraction because that was the only direction you could go without putting more people in danger, “I so did not think this through!” You chanced a glance over at the four people, they seemed to be doing just fine STARING at you instead of HELPING, “Oh no, I’m fine thank you!” You yelled at them. That seemed to get them into action. The youngest two went find safety and the redheaded lady soon followed as the man seemed to be giving the raptors orders, you probably didn’t see that one correctly, I mean, you were running for your life here. You rounded the corner and almost slipped on the concrete, picking yourself up though, you raced and ducked into what looked like a large storage warehouse. You slowed down to a trot, trying to catch your breath, thinking you were safe in the metal building. You soon realized your mistake though, as suddenly the wall was crunched inwards from the weight of a dino body slam. You stopped breathing, and started looking for another way out, but found none. You started to panic, this was not good, not good at all, you were completely trapped. Your body started to freeze completely, your mind going blank, your breathing ragged as the Dinosaur finally burst through the wall, raining down glass and debris onto your head. You couldn’t really remember what happened next but you think it involved you squeaking and trying to run the opposite direction but tripping on some wires. You closed your eyes, waiting for the inevitable when you were jerked sideways by your arm and under a forklift just as huge jaws came smashing down where you once were. Turning your head you saw a head of brown hair and two panicked looking eyes looking right at you. It was the older of the two kids. “Come on!” He yelled, you gave no argument. Running had never really been your forte, but right now you thought you could be setting some new records. The two of you went to the far left side of the beast, trying to get around it. By some miracle you managed to do just that and leaped through the gaping hole in the wall and started running back to the gift shop area. “Zach!” someone yelled, the two of you turned your heads to find the woman running, but towards you instead of away like any sane person should be doing at this moment in time, with a lit road flare in her hands, “Run!” Sprinting into a nearby toy shop and hiding under one of the displays you and Zach looked out of the window to see the lady throw the flare at the white beast and then come into the shop with you. All of a sudden the ground started shaking dramatically, getting louder and heavier with each passing second until finally you saw it, the T-Rex. It was slightly smaller than the other Dinosaur but still impressive. Soon it was joined by the Raptors and it almost seemed like they were on the same side as they simultaneously attacked the beast in front of them. Soon, the fight was over, Rex, Raptors, and Mosasaur victorious, all going on their separate ways. The redheaded lady who you found out was named Claire found and hugged the youngest one, Gray, and soon was joined by Zach and the man, Owen, who was off having a moment with a blue tinted Raptor. That left you, standing off to the side quietly as they had their family love moment. Soon though, you were joined by Zach, “Hey,” he said. You looked over at him, “Hi,” you couldn’t think of anything better to say, “Thanks, for, ya’know, saving my skin.” “Hey, I was just returning the favor. You got us out of a big mess back there.” You turned and faced him, “Well, I guess this is good-bye. It was nice saving each other’s bacon.” His eyes widened a bit, “Uh, well, yeah, I guess it’s good-bye, I guess.” You gave him one last smile and turned back to the docks, hesitating a bit before you started walking. Zach came back over to his little group, earning a disappointed look from Gray. He looked back to where you were walking away and sighed, you were beautiful. Gray punched him in the arm, “Nothings gonna happen if you just keep staring at her.” Zach looked at Gray and back up at you, “Yeah, you’re right,” and started jogging to catch up to you. You turned around when you heard Zach’s voice from behind you, “Hey, wait up.” You stopped walking and looked him in the eyes, “Yeah? Is everything ok?” He looked down, “No, not really, I mean, it’s just that, well I-“ You stopped him from saying another word as you gave him a little peck on the lips, grabbed his hand and wrote down your number on his palm. “Here,” you said, “Call me when you get back to the mainland and we’ll get together, maybe.” He didn’t say anything as you turned around and started walking off again. Finally he breathed out a breath he didn’t realize he had been holding and yelled out, “I liked saving bacon too!”
*Gifs not mine
“You-,” Owen started, “I mean, he?”
You grimaced slightly, I mean, you were gonna tell your dad eventually, just not now. “Yes, he,” You said, pointing at a rather frightened looking Zach.
“But I- I didn’t think… what?”
Wow, you thought, he was taking this better then you thought he would
