Dia Internacional da Mulher.
Dia intrigante. Desconfortável.
Ser combativa, politizada ou aceitar os mimos?
Por muitas horas do dia me questionei, pensando: quero lutar por uma sociedade mais igual; quero equidade, mas também quero aproveitar essa massagem e ganhar chocolate!
Como desejar Feliz Dia se não é tão feliz assim? Fiquei o dia inteiro em reflexão: O que dizer? O que fazer?
Acho que o dia de hoje é para isso: ser inquietante; fazer a gente (sociedade) se questionar, pois é no desconforto/incômodo que a gente consegue propor mudanças!
Hoje foi um dia muito simbólico para mim. E ainda teve a “cereja do bolo” das violências invisíveis!
Então, meu desejo às mulheres hoje é:
PERMITAM-SE!
O simples (que não é simples) fato de existirmos já é resistir e lutar! E como disse uma amiga:
Bora que amanhã é dia 9!
A luta continua! 💪🏼💋

Reivindicamos que nuestras elecciones personales y obligaciones familiares no condicionen nuestro futuro profesional. Reivindicamos que ser madres o cuidadoras no nos alejen de desarrollar una faceta laboral plena y satisfactoria. Reivindicamos que no tengamos que elegir entre desarrollar esa faceta u otra en nuestras vidas, que la elección sea nuestra realmente y no condicionada por terceros. Reivindicamos que los roles de género desaparezcan. Ojalá no tengamos que celebrar más días como éstos para recordar que el género no nos condiciona. ES|| La ilustración de este año se la dedico a mi madre y a todas esas raíces de lucha feminista! Aunque hayamos recorrido mucho camino aun nos queda muchísimo más por luchar! En otros tiempos cuando una mujer tenia opiniones, conocimientos, sueños, o cualquier otra aspiración o comportamiento fuera de la norma establecida podía acabar en la hoguera tachada de bruja, aunque hoy en día no tenemos hogueras muchas mujeres tienen que aguantar comentarios y comportamientos sexistas, peyorativos o violentos por estas mismas razones. Yo personalmente cuando pienso en brujas no pienso en esos seres malos de los cuentos sino en las curanderas que bailaban bajo la luna en los solsticios y recogían hierbas del campo para curar casi todos los males. A ellas también les dedico esta ilustración donde las llamas de la hoguera se han trasformado en una flor de hipérico, una flor medicinal muy unida a los solsticios. EN|| This year's illustration is dedicated to my mother and to all those feminist roots! Although we’ve come a long way, we still have so much more to fight! In other times when a woman had opinions, knowledge, dreams, or any other aspiration or behavior outside the established norm, she could end up at the stake labeled a witch, although today we don’t burn people, many women have to put up with sexist, violent or derogatory comments and behavior because of these same reasons. Personally, when I think of witches, instead of those evil beings on tales I visualize the healers who danced under the moon at the solstices and gathered herbs from the field to cure almost all ills. I also dedicate to them this illustration where the flames have been transformed into a St. John's wort flower, a medicinal flower closely linked to the solstices celebrations.
ESP || Hoy y siempre libres y rebeldes! Juntas somos más fuertes! Vivimos en un mundo globalizado donde es innegable que el supuesto género de las personas genera desigualdades en todos los ámbitos de la vida: salud, educación, mercado laboral, lenguaje, amor, libertad y autonomía, arte, familia,... Podría citar cientos de estadísticas que ponen los pelos de punta y no dejan lugar a dudas de cómo hoy en día, aunque hayamos avanzado en muchos aspectos, aun nos queda mucho camino por recorrer para llegar a una igualdad real. Desgraciadamente últimamente solo se da visibilidad y se habla del feminismo la semana del 8 de marzo pero todas vivimos con ello todos los días del año. Por este motivo, este año he decidido dejar de lado las grandes referentes universales de feminismo y en cambio reconocer a mis amigas, que a pesar de nuestras diferencias somos compañeras de lucha. Unfortunately lately we, as a society, only give visibility and talk about feminism the week of March 8, but all women live with it every day of the year. For this reason, this year I’ve decided to set aside the great universal feminist referents and instead recognize my friends that despite our differences we are fighting partners.
CAT || Avui i sempre lliures i rebels! Juntes som més fortes! Vivim en un món globalitzat on és innegable que el suposat gènere de les persones genera desigualtats en tots els àmbits de la vida: salut, educació, mercat laboral, llenguatge, amor, llibertat i autonomia, art, família, ... Podria citar centenars d'estadístiques que posen els pèls de punta i no deixen cap dubte de com avui dia, tot i que haguem avançat en molts aspectes, encara ens queda molt camí per recórrer per arribar a una igualtat real. Malauradament últimament només es dóna visibilitat i es parla del feminisme la setmana del 8 de març però totes vivim amb aquest problema tots els dies de l'any. Per aquest motiu, aquest any he decidit deixar de banda les grans referents universals del feminisme i en canvi reconèixer a les meves amigues, que malgrat les nostres diferències som companyes de lluita. Mexico was painted purple by feminists today 🥰
Today, the feminist movement took the streets of mexico, with women marching for their rights and against the epidemic of feminicides that is taking place in the country 💕💓😭
When the march began to be organized in social networks, people were "worried" and critizised the lack of empathy (from feminists) with the women (specifically) who'd have to clean the streets after the marching - the cleaning ladies showed up to show their support tho 💖♀️
This was today and I'm filled with pride, I wasn't able to participate and it breaks my heart. However tomorrow is the mexican feminist strike - just like Icelandic women did in 1975 - tomorrow, Mexican feminist groups have called for a full on strike: no women in schools, work places or even on the streets. Women won't buy or sell anything tomorrow, or actively participate in the mexican society in any way, including social media. No internet tomorrow for us. So I wont see ya until the tenth. ✊✊✊
