Mini version of Galaxy S5 will be water-resistant
Samsung's latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 is already on sale around the world. At the same time the company works on the miniature version of the device to go up against the HTC M8 Mini and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact at the market of mini-flagship smartphones.
As expected the Galaxy S5 Mini is not very different to what we heard earlier. It will feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (pixel density: 326ppi), 16GB of internal storage with a MicroSD slot that support the cards of up to 32GB and 1.5GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will receive a quad-core chipset 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 8MP rear camera and a 2MP camera in front.
Mini-flagship has got a 2100mAh battery, Google OS Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top of it. For the New Zealand market the handset also got IP67 certification that will make the device water-resistant at least in that region. Samsung launched the mini version of their Galaxy S5.

Samsung has prepared a trio of Galaxy tablets
Samsung are expected to announce a several of new devices at the Mobile World Congress. So we can expect not only Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and the Galaxy S5, and now it looks like Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be shown too.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will be announced in three categories: a 7-inch display, an 8-inch display and with a 10-inch display. Other technical specifications of the Galaxy Tab 4 include a discreet quad core processor with a clock frequency 1.2GHz and 2GB of RAM. The tablet has 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory, plus a microSD card slot. It also got a 6800 mAh battery and OS Android 4.4 KitKat for all specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 4 will be announced later this month. As yet there are no details about resolution of the displays, as well as about the price.

Samsung has put Galaxy Gear 2
New Galaxy watch will never be so cumbersome as before. High rate of expansion of mental abilities and regular jog have done Galaxy Gear 2 by 15% thinner and more elegant. Galaxy Gear allows for discreet notifications, hands-free calling, S-Voice access, music control, and other exceptional features.
Smart watches Galaxy Gear 2 as expected got a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. Samsung set a dual core processor with a clock frequency of 800 MHz and 512MB of RAM. Still unknown what new amazing abilities of this model will require such power.
As before, the device has on the strap 2MP BSI Sensor with auto focus. The camera supports video-recording in HD (720p) quality. Lithium-ion battery 315mAh became smaller and more efficient. Bluetooth 4.0 with low energy consumption also increases runtimes from 25 hours prior to the ability to use the device without recharge for two days.
Galaxy Gear 2 with Android 4.4 KitKat on board paired with Galaxy S5 is available now. Do not expect that Samsung will reduce the price of the second version. They pushed to it so many new features that the price is justified.

Galaxy Gear 2 is available now
Samsung GALAXY S5 ascends to the throne
Samsung launched a new flagship smartphone Galaxy S5. Company also affirms that bundled with the new handset they will bring the Galaxy Gear 2 which will be 15-20% thinner than its predecessor.
Galaxy S5 will also be supplied with 2.5GHz Quad Core application processor and 2GB of RAM. Amount of internal memory 16/32GB (+ microSD slot up to 128GB). Novelty equipped with a 5.1” FHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels (432 ppi), a frame refresh rate of 27.7 fps and a 698 cd/m2 brightness. The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be equipped with a new 20MP rear camera. For video calls uses standard 2MP front camera.
The new smartphone will receive Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The device, as expected, got a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button. Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a 2800mAh battery which will support the smartphone during the day or more with moderate use. S5 is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, NFC and certainly LTE.
