ES|| Este conejo no es una sirena, aunque poco le falta. El conejo más aventurero del mundo, después de viajar al espacio a conocer los planetas y las estrellas, se ha aficionado a ponerse el neopreno y las aletas y salir a explorar uno de los mundos más desconocidos del planeta Tierra, el océano. Todos los dibujos están inspirados en animales marinos reales, podéis reconocer alguno de ellos? Si tuviera que escoger uno de estos animalitos para poder verlo de cerca creo que me quedaría con la ballena, la tortuga o uno de los peces globo, aunque todos me parecen bastante curiosos y el mundo marino, en general, es impresionantemente rico, aún me sorprendo descubriendo peces de colores y formas que no imaginaba posibles y, además, todavía estamos descubriendo nuevas especies. 🐋🐡🐠

EN|| This rabbit is not a mermaid, although it’s very close to one. All the drawings are inspired by real marine animals, can you recognize any of them? If I had to choose one of these little animals to see up close, I think I’d choose the blue whale, the turtle or one of the puffer fish, although all the creatures in there seem quite interesting to me and the marine world, in general, is impressively rich, I still surprise myself by discovering fish of colors and shapes that I did not imagine possible and, furthermore, we are still discovering new species. 🐋🐡🐠

ES|| La primavera es el tiempo predilecto de las flores y como no, de las rosas silvestres, las cuales tienen infinidad de propiedades medicinales.

Sus frutos contienen gran cantidad de vitamina C, por lo que son muy adecuados para combatir estados gripales. Son antianémicos, estimulantes, tonificantes, antidiarreicos y, en decocción, diuréticos.

Los pétalos pueden comerse frescos. En infusión como colirio tienen grandes propiedades oftalmológicas, ayudan a combatir infecciones e inflamaciones oculares. Además, mezclada con miel combate la gingivitis, y mezclada con zumo de limón, si sumergimos las uñas, las hace fuertes y saludables. La decocción de las flores ayuda contra las menstruaciones abundantes.

La decocción de la raíz y sus tallos es astringente y, haciendo gargarismos, combate las afecciones e irritaciones de gola.

Además, otras especies de rosas son muy apreciadas en el mundo de la cosmética y la perfumería. Los tónicos para la piel tienen propiedades cicatrizantes, regeneradoras y bactericidas, combaten las arrugas y las inflamaciones cutáneas. En la aromaterapia, las rosas, ayudan en estados de depresión, insomnio y ansiedad. 🌱✨

Ya sabéis que con los temas de salud siempre se tiene que ir con cuidado y consultar con profesionales. No a todo el mundo le van bien los mismos remedios, a veces pueden tener contraindicaciones o generar alergias!

ES|| Hay un montón de cosas con las que quiero experimentar, aunque parece que nunca encuentro el momento (No os pasa lo mismo? Parece que el tiempo se me esfume entre las manos!!). Una de estas cosas es hacer patterns. Os muestro un experimento que hice con los dibujitos laterales de la ilustración de conejitos para pascua. Ya sé que destacan más son los conejitos que las estrellas, incluido el sol, pero es difícil superar ese nivel de adorable!🐰✨

Qué os parece el resultado? Creo que, aunque sea la primera vez que experimento con este tipo de composiciones, ha quedado bastante bien! Ya me lo imagino en papeles de regalo y libretas… Vosotros donde creéis que podría quedar genial un estampado como este?

EN|| There are a lot of things I want to experiment with, although I never seem to find the time to do them (Isn't the same thing happening to you? It seems like time is slipping through my hands!!). One of the things I always wanted to try is making patterns. Here you can see an experiment I did with the side drawings of the bunny illustration for Easter. I know that the bunnies stand out more than the stars, including the sun, but it's hard to beat that level of cuteness!🐰✨

What do you think of the result? I think that, although it’s the first time I experiment with this type of compositions, it has turned out quite well! I can already imagine it on wrapping paper and notebooks... Where do you think a print like this could look great?

ES|| Disfrutad de la "mona" y del chocolate! Este pastel en el que están trabajando tan duramente los conejitos (bueno, casi todos, algunos solo saben hacer travesuras y comerse trocitos de escondidas) me recuerda a las monas de cuando era pequeña, aunque la faltan las plumas de colores y los pollitos

EN|| Enjoy the "mona" and chocolate! This cake that the bunnies are working so hard on (well, almost all of them, some of them only know how to get into mischief and eat little pieces while hiding) reminds me of the “monas” my childhood, although it lacks the colored feathers and the little chicks.

ES || Hoy es mi cumpleaños!! Muchas felicidades a todos los que hacéis los años el mismo día que yo, y a los que no, feliz no cumpleaños! He de decir que a mí me pirra el chocolate negro en todas sus versiones, ya sea en galletas, magdalenas y, por supuesto un buen pastel (siempre con poco azúcar, que no me apasiona el dulce). A mí me dais este pastel sin el frosting y soy más feliz que una perdiz. Aunque ahora mismo yo no puedo comer muchos dulces espero que este ratoncito se pegue un buen festín y sople todas la velas! Sabéis de dónde viene la tradición de soplar las velas? Pues hay varias teorías de su origen pero a mí la que más me gusta es la de antigua Grecia, donde era costumbre llevar al  templo de Artemisa, la diosa de la luna, unas tortas redondas, que simbolizaban el circulo lunar completo, con una vela encendida que representaba el resplandor de la luna. Después esta vela se soplaba para que el humo llevara a los dioses el deseo pedido. Esta tradición de pedir un deseo para celebrar el día que vinimos al mundo me encanta. Espero que todos vuestros deseos, por muy imposibles que parezcan, se cumplan!

EN || Happy birthday to me!! Best wishes to those of you who also celebrate your birthday today, and to those who don't, a very merry unbirthday to you! I love dark chocolate, in all its versions, whether it’s cookies, muffins or of course a good cake (always with less sugar than usual, I’m not really into sweet things). Give me this cake without the frosting and I'm the happiest person in the world. Although right now I can't eat sweets, I hope this little mouse has a good feast and blows out all the candles! Do you know where the tradition of blowing out the candles comes from? Well, there are several theories about its origin, but the one I like the most is the ancient Greece one, where it was a tradition to bring round cakes to the temple of Artemis (the goddess of the moon). That symbolized the complete lunar circle, the cake had a lighted candle that represented the glow of the moon. This candle would later be blown so the smoke would take the person’s wish to the gods. I love this tradition of making a wish to celebrate the day we came into the world. I hope that all your wishes, as impossible they may seem, come true!

Hi havia una vegada una dragona de cua llarga i ales de papallona a la que li agradava tant llegir, que va plantar al seu jardí unes plantes molt curioses: tenien les fulles verdes, la seva flor era una rosa i donaven com a fruit llibres de tots colors i temàtiques diferents!! Així que, com us imaginareu, quan volia llegir una bona aventura, posava la tetera a escalfar i, amb l’ajuda de les seves veïnes les abelles, anava al jardí a recol·lectar tots els llibres que ja estaven al seu punt de maduració perfecte! Després depenent de si fa fred o calor agafa una manta o es posa a prendre el Sol en una hamaca. En una mà un nou llibre (una aventura per començar, una historia per descobrir, quins nervis!) i a l’altra mà la infusió, en una tassa fumejant o en un got ben gran amb uns quants “glaçonets” per acompanyar el temps. 🌹🐉 Quina llàstima que nosaltres no puguem plantar aquestes plantes però si que podem anar a les biblioteques o a les llibreries de barri o de poble, així que demà, si Sant Jordi voleu celebrar, ja sabeu on anar a triar i rebuscar, per un bon llibre regalar!

ES|| He hecho una nueva versión del caracolito enamorado. Hace muchísimo tiempo que tenia el esbozo y el apunte de color hecho en procreate y también realice una versión de la misma ilustración en formato vertical para la exposición de postales de @gallerynucleus . Además tengo pendiente una nueva versión donde quiero experimentar con mucho más gouache y menos acuarela! 🐌 En las imágenes podéis ver el resultado final, el primer paso con solo una capa de acuarela y gouache para el azul del fondo, y el esbozo. Por cierto recordad que si queréis tener o regalar una de las postales de la exposición aun las tenéis disponibles en la tienda online de la galería! EN|| I’ve made a new version of the little snail in love. It's been a long time since I had the sketch and the color tests made in procreate and I also made a version of the same illustration in a vertical format for the power in numbers exhibition at @gallerynucleus . I also have a new version pending where I want to experiment more with gouache and use less watercolor!🐌 In the images you can see the final result, the first step with just a layer of watercolor and gouache for the blue in the background, and the sketch. By the way, remember that if you want to have or gift one of the postcards from the exhibition, you still have them available in the gallery's online store!

It really is a shame it’s so far from my country because I’d personally love to go, be there and see all my postcards and those of all the wonderful selected artists! Today I bring you the entire marine life postcard, with the color tests I’ve been doing during the process next to the postcard. I love seeing the colors I've been testing around the final piece! What do you think? Keep in mind that the postcard is only the painted area since I later cut them to 5”x7”, it’s a unique and original piece (and my favorite one). ES|| Espero no estar muy pesadita con esto de las postales pero me encantaría que, todos los que podáis, fuerais el 3 de septiembre a @gallerynucleus y las vierais en directo y porque no, me comprarais alguna de ellas. Realmente es una pena que sea tan lejos de mi país porque personalmente me encantaría ir y ver todas mis postales y las de todos los demás artistas maravillosos seleccionados! Hoy os traigo la postal de la vida marina entera, con las pruebas de color que he ido haciendo al lado de la postal durante el proceso. Me encanta ver los colores que he ido probando alrededor de la pieza final! Y a vosotros? Pensad que la postal solo es la parte pintada ya que posteriormente las recorté a 5”x7”, además es una pieza única y original (Y mi preferida).

El verano tiene muchísimas cosas buenas, pero hay una que seguro que nadie hecha de menos: el auge de mosquitos con su ruidito amenazador por la noche y sus picaduras a traición. De momento en lo que llevamos de verano he tenido suerte y aún no he tenido una picadura de esas gigantes que se hinchan, se ponen rojas y calientes y pican una barbaridad, pero otros años no he tenido la misma suerte y investigando las plantas, sus propiedades y diferentes remedios naturales, descubrí esta cataplasma natural para estas ocasiones. La receta es muy fácil, solo hace falta triturar y mezclar los siguientes ingredientes (mejor si son de cultivo ecológico i proximidad!): - Copos de avena en polvo o polvo de avena, ya que la avena es muy eficaz contra las inflamaciones de la piel. - Infusión de manzanilla porque la manzanilla posee propiedades antiinflamatorias y analgésicas. - Albahaca fresca, la cual contiene eugenol, un compuesto que ayuda a combatir el picor y el dolor. - Romero fresco, además de tener propiedades similares a la albahaca es un antiséptico natural. Una vez hecha la mezcla solo tenemos que ponerla a enfriar en la nevera para que nos aporte el efecto frío que también ayudará con la hinchazón y ya estará lista para aplicar en la zona afectada. Podéis dejarla aplicada en la zona afectada entre 20-30 minutos, y después retirar los restos con agua fría. Si veis que no mejora, que tiene mal aspecto o que algún producto os hace alergia id rápidamente al médico!
