Day 5 (Five)
Gender Identities
Characters: “Flynn ‘Puck’ [he’s just called Flynn :) | SHOA], Hosah Azriel Elderhallow [D&D Campaign], & Kolimai [doesn’t need a last name | Disaster Crew]
[Image Description: The first character on the left is a young (seemingly) masculine person who named Flynn. The second character is near the center of the image, he is named Hosah. Hosah has light colored eyes and hair, though their hair is darker than Flynn’s. Hosah is wearing high waisted pants, boots that go up to the calf, and a button up shirt with a bola tie (I think that is the term for it but it doesn’t have the gem that bola ties seem to have). His hair is long and straight, it is in a loose pony tail that is draped over chest. They have several small scars and are wearing a band on their left arm that says “Druid,” there is also fire coming from their left hand in a ball. The is a small halo over his head, though Hosah is not dead, they are simply of celestial heritage.
The third character is only a head that is on the right. They have glasses and smooth hair. Their name is Kolimai.]

Flynn can be simply described as Flynn by everyone, or some people describe him as a genius “Cotton-Eye Joe” (which he has no idea why they call him this as he has great vision and isn’t named anything close to Joesph) as no one knows where he came from or where he goes in his free time. Flynn was extremely quiet at first but then suddenly started to socialize, one day he behaved as if he was an observer then suddenly the next day, he blended into the class perfectly. Everyone thought that was just some kid but the more they talked to him the more they realized he was anything but a normal kid. The main thing everyone figured out quickly, he somehow knows almost everything to know about math and science but has never heard of anything related to pop culture. He didn’t even know what ice cream or soda was.
Hosah is an Archdruid of the highest order, who spends his days helping the small town he helped found with an old school friend and managing many businesses. Well, most people don’t think he’s a druid, due to the fact that never shapeshifts, he is always Good Ole’ Hosah. He often pays his friend Crypt visits in their forest.
Kolimai is the leader of the odd jobs business they run with Stephan and Nicoren. They also have an OBSURD amount of doctorates, because what else are immortals supposed to do? Stephan and Kolimai met when Stephan was 10 during the aftermath of the garlic bread incident. And Stephan & Kolimai met Nicoren at the same time. While the Kolimai knows a decent amount about the other two, they don’t really know a lot. They know Kolimai is cursed, and they know that their immortality and eternal youth aren’t curse... but other than that, they don’t know sh*t.

Day 4 (Four)
Trans Pride
Characters: “Kit/Kitty [last name not decided yet | Wacky World (Name of work may change)], Nicoren [no last name in canon | Disaster Crew], Alyssa [last name not decided yet | SHOA], & Gene [last name not decided yet | SHOA]”

You have already heard about Nicoren so I shall talk about the other catboy, Kit. Kit has always been on the shy side, but observant. For a long time, He didn’t realize he was trans but now that he knows, he is a lot happier. He has his small group of friends and is happy about it.
Alyssa has triplet who is still alive and one that isn’t. She is now the oldest sibling, she has the unique ability to transform parts of her body into weapons. Though she doesn’t do ranged weapons as she would need ammo, and would rather not lose her teeth. She is definitely an extravert but is very anxious about a lot of things.
While Gene can in fact hear and quite well, they are selectively mute. But this doesn’t limit their ability to communicate as they can easily make a connection to other people’s minds, thus allowing them to telepathically communicate with people, this is only part of their abilities as the main one they use is the ability to change how people are processing the environment or see someone’s worst fear. Essentially, they can make someone see them as a blonde while another thinks they have bubblegum pink skin all with Gene’s mind. Because most people don’t work on building a defense against people with telepathic abilities, it doesn’t take long for Gene to be able to perceive their thoughts. They thought that they could (theoretically, they never did this, because why should they) manipulate everyone into either worshiping them or not be able to perceive them that was until they met Flynn. To this day, Gene can’t do anything to Flynn. Which is exactly why Gene became close friends with Flynn, because they did NOT want to be enemies or rivals with someone they can’t read the mind of.

Day 3 (Three)
Bi Pride
Characters: “Nicoren [no last name in canon | Disaster Crew] & Stephan Castellanos-Nomikos [Disaster Crew]”

These two (plus their friend) are not apart of any universe I have made yet but I want to state that they are somewhat inspired by alittlesliceofcucumber‘s Spooky Lads! AU. They aren’t dating but close friends. The three of them have a business of sorts that is basically “pay us a commission and suggest what we do, and we try our best to do it (without destroying the world)” they will even do some less than legal things but they generally won’t commit murder. They are often mistaken for monster hunters as they often do things related to the supernatural but they are very much not.
Nicoren and Stephan get along great, with their love language being lovingly insulting each other, being salty, and sarcasm, but they have one genuine argument that they will never agree on and will go on until someone stops them. It is all about whether being turned a vampire, but your heart never stopped beating until they were full vampire, could be considered dying.

Nicoren is the newest member of this odd jobs club and least educated. He is both the muscle, the looks, and the distraction. He can best be described using three (3) words that start with the letter ‘b,’ bada**, b*tch, and b*stard. He knows that he is a solid 10 on looks but cannot read (Stephan and Kolimai are teaching him) but he can identify a crazy amount of random stuff.

Stephan is from a well known, famous, and powerful family of magic users (most are sorcerers but some are wizards) and is an extremely intelligent young man... so you would think he would be good at magic... but his genetics decided to be a**holes and gave a condition where he will get migraines, mild vertigo, and very severe motion sickness when he casts (or even affected by) magic. There is only one spell he can cast without this condition activating, summon balloons. He is also gained a habit where if he panics and can cast a spell, he will cast that spell. It has solved a lot of problems, but it also made a ridiculous amount of problem exponentially worse.
He is extremely stubborn, clever, and can hold a grudge for eternity. He may be an a**hole, but he is a loving a**hole.

Day 2 (Two)
Lesbian Pride
Characters: “Thomasia [Last name not decided | SHOA] & Aderyn [Last name not decided | SHOA]”

Thomasia is a woman who has a condition that causes Hyperpigmentation causing patches of skin to be darker than the surrounding skin. Her skin is darker in comparison with Aderyn’s. Thomasia doesn’t have the majority of her right arm (has only part of the upper arm, just below the shoulder. Thomasia has her left arm wrapped around Aderyn. There is a note next to Thomasia to note that she has the condition Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).]

These two are nicknamed the ‘Cool Aunts’ of the class as while, neither of them are responsible for the class, they still are some form parent figures for the rest. Thomasia’s ability is the ability to teleport to places she has been, which is useful when trying find where a group of classmates are hiding around campus. Adelyn is one of the people you should call if you broke something but don’t want the teachers to know, with her ability to create a mimic of any object (minus organic material such as food or real animals) using a substance she can create and mold at will, she can easily fix it and if it is beyond repair, she can dig a hole to bury it.

Day 1 (One)
Gay Pride
Characters: “Blaze Patton ‘Vivero’ [SHOA] & Erin Strange-Brooks ‘Mothman 2: Electric Boogaloo’ [SHOA]”

Erin has a lighter skin tone compared to Blaze but is not white who also has wavy light blue hair. Erin’s name is colored with the colors of the bisexual flag.]

The two are from a story that I have nicknamed SHOA for now. The two, personality wise, are extremely different as Blaze is very open with his emotions and very quick to respond to everything, while Erin is quiet, barely speaks to acquaintances, and very slow to respond. They are even opposites in the fact that Blaze is a lot smarter than he acts and Erin is a lot dumber than how he looks.
Though they both have been assigned as the ones who will drive on roadtrips but should never drive in any other circumstances. Blaze (as the very ‘creative’ name his parents helped him choose) has fire related abilities, or more accurately he can generate heat (which can result in fire) and has extremely high resistance to heat, fire, and for some reason molten stone (doesn’t ask how they found that out, his 8th birthday party got wild). When Blaze gets a bit emotional, he can accidentally melt the steering wheel.
Erin is basically a walking electric generator who has to release electrical energy, so he won’t get even more damage to his nervous system or heart. This means that he is only aloud to drive electric cars as he always ends up breaking most hybrids and other kinds of cars.
The two didn’t really confess, they just mutually realized that they were both interested in dating each other and decided ‘okay, we are boyfriends now.’ They even forgot to tell people until like 3 months after they got together. It is as if they were just made for each other, Erin has communication problems, but Blaze is so good at reading people that he can just practically read Erin’s mind.
No, I will not explain Erin’s hero name yet. Not even Blaze knows why he chose ‘Mothman 2: Electric Boogaloo.’

Accountability Post #5 (23 June 2022)
Arm day!
My workout consisted of:
1. 5-minute warm up on the elliptical
2. 23 minutes of weight lifting
3. 20-minute hill workout on the treadmill + 5-minute cool down after
Honestly, I almost didn’t go to the gym today. I had to remind myself of my fitness goals (and the fact that I pay for a monthly membership lol...). I ended up going later than I would have liked to, though. So, there were more people in comparison to these past few days. Thankfully, I was able to use all of the machines in today’s routine.
I, most likely, won’t be able to go to the gym tomorrow. So, I’m going to go on Saturday instead. Tomorrow, I think I’ll try to go on a walk around the neighborhood or I might even see if my family’s old Wii still works and play Wii Fit (lol). Anything to get some movement.

Leg day!
Today’s workout:
1. 3-minute warm up on the stairmaster
2. 19 minutes of weights
3. 20-minute hill workout on the treadmill + 5-minute cool down after
I was unable to use all of the machines I usually incorporate into my Wednesday leg workouts. I ended up just using one of the other machines in my routine twice. Still feel good, though.
Accountability Post #3 (21 June 2022)
Today was arm day.
My workout consisted of:
1. 5-minute warm up on the elliptical
2. 29 minutes of weight lifting
3. 20-minute hill workout on the treadmill + 5-minute cool down after
Since I had not done any arm workouts for over a week, I made sure to take it easy during the weight training portion of my workout. So, I did not go as hard as I would have normally liked to. However, I still think I had a great workout. I feel good and am looking forward to tomorrow (yay leg day).
Accountability Post #2 (20 June 2022)
I did not make it to the gym. However, my Fitbit registered all of the cleaning and packing I got done today as “swimming.” That counts...right? (lol)
Additionally, I made it to 10,000 steps. Honestly, this has been a very rare occurrence, given the fact that I have been spending most of my time at home these past few weeks. So, I think today was still good.
Also, I know that I was not consistent with my accountability posts last week (didn’t even last a day before becoming inconsistent lol). But, I’m not going to be hard on myself about that. I’m just going to try harder and continue to try. I’m really determined to not give up on myself this time around.
Accountability Post #1 (13 June 2022)
Today was leg day (my favorite day :D)
Before we get to my workout, though, I want to stress that, when I exercise, I do not aim for burning a specific amount of calories. My main goal is to move my body in some way, at least 4 to 5 times a week, for at least 30 minutes each session. I have found that, for me, personally, focusing too much on how many calories I am burning makes my workouts a lot less fun. I’m trying to relieve stress, not add to it.
Anyway...
My workout consisted of:
1. 3-minute warm up on the stairmaster (trying to work up to around 5-10 minutes...3 is all I can handle for now lol)
2. 22 minutes of weightlifting (I, typically, aim for 15-20 minutes)
3. 20-minute hill workout on the treadmill, followed by a 5 minute cool down
In the past, I have always completed the cardio part of my workout first before moving on to weights. However, since the end of last month, at the advice of some gym bros (lol), I have been doing weights at the beginning and then cardio. So far, I feel great. It has taken some getting used to, but I’m starting to think I prefer this order. I feel that I am able to put in more energy and effort into the weightlifting portion of my workouts and still have awesome cardio sessions after.
I finally have a routine. Once I start seeing results that actually show that this routine is working, I will definitely be sharing.
Now, I’m going to go shower, drink some tea, then go to bed. :)

So...last month, a couple of my friends and I created our own 90 Day “Glow Up” challenge. We created goals that we wanted to accomplish together (e.g., trying a new recipe each week, working out 4-5 times a week, etc.). Additionally, we each created individual goals that we want to work towards during this time frame. Unlike some of the challenges I have seen gain popularity on social media (e.g., tik tok, insta, etc.) a component we added was that if you “mess up” or are inconsistent one day, you just try again the next day. There is no restarting or punishing ourselves. Instead, we will check in with ourselves, reflect on what’s working and what hasn’t been working, and then keep trying. We, officially, started our challenge on May 30, 2022 and will complete it on August 31, 2022.
I have decided to start making accountability posts pertaining to my individual goals on this blog. My friends and I have been keeping up with each other on a shared google doc that we used to outline all the “rules” of our challenge. However, there have been days where I have not been as consistent as I want to be. I feel that making additional posts here will help me to stay on track.
I also want to emphasize that with this challenge, the focus is not just on physical health. Additionally, instead of being stuck on losing weight, my personal aim is to build up my strength and increase my endurance. I also want to focus on my mental and spiritual health. Basically, my main goal is to really work on loving and being kinder to myself and my body. I’m using this summer to focus on myself and improve myself for, you guessed it, myself.
My next post will be my first accountability post for this week. Stay tuned :)
