BEARHUG :D

Not much to say about them. Big fat ugly meat pile. Her body was modified to grow much faster than others to make her arms long, hands big and in return make her much more huggable. To not turn her into a giant and keep her small cute state she was given suppressors to reduce her growth however after the hoj she could not get these anymore resulting in her massive height. Here is a small something something to show the size difference:

Unlike the other critters bearhug specifically needed meat to sustain herself as the body wanted more proteins to grow itself bigger even though the suppressors didn't allow it. To help her eat she was given teeth which had to be replaced every month to stop them rotting away. After the hoj the teeth slowly rotted away as expected and became much smaller compared to their original size. Bearhug was the last to die before dogday because of her massive size making her pretty much invulnerable to most damages. Catnap didn't want to face her as she could easily punch them into the stratosphere so when she became the last food source (not including dogday) catnap gathered every other creature to keep them away from Bobby so she would starve to death. This plan worked and Bobby eventually went limb on the ground. Have I forgotten to mention anything? Idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

CATFEINE!!!11!!1!11! I love the idea of them and couldn't help but make a monster version of it. Right side up:

I think after the hoj Catfeine would solely rely on what she can produce for her diet: coffee. Her digestive system had to change itself to process coffee more efficiently and the most obvious one from an outside view being running tubes around her skin. These tubes are there to send coffee back up to her throat so it can be digested again like a cow. To further help digest coffee some of her digestive organs became larger and having nowhere to go moved upwards trough her neck making it longer. Catfeine would end up burning her hands a lot so she started wearing gloves the engineers had. Sadly her claws cut the tips :( . She would end up burning other parts of her body aswell so to help ease the pain she uses belts as bandages on the burning areas. Obviously coffee lacks a lot from a normal diet so she still needs to eat meat. Her long tail hand helps a lot with hunting small ones that hide inside the factories cracks and crevices. Hunting is dangerous though and because of this she ended up losing an eye and a part of her tail hair.

They are so silly (the anatomy is wrong for a cat but I didn't want to make them a normal cat)

Factory Issue

Originally, I only intended to draw bbi Catnap, but then I suddenly felt like drawing the other two and making it into a large, fully shaded picture. I'm actually really proud of how this turned out (especially mll), so this blog is getting a new banner.

I'm attempting to give my grambell family au a massive re-work, so if you guys could give suggestions on what I should change in the storyline, please do!

Hey there! So remember how I mentioned that I felt Betsy needed a sister? Well, since I'm still figuring out her design, here's some info on her:

Her name is "Chatty Katty." Or Cathy, I'm not sure yet

Toy:

She was a kindergarten doll from the same line of Miss Delight. She had a button in the middle of her stomach so that when kids pressed it, she would sing the Abc's

Bigger bodies:

During the time Harley had started the bigger bodies, Initiative, he had no idea of kathy's existence. He only knew after wandering around Elliott's office where he found a blueprint of "Chatty kathy" and "Itsy bitsy Betsy." Seemingly, two toys from the same exact line except one shared the semi- appearance of an already exiting bigger body. Mommy long legs. The other one shared the appearance of Miss delight more. Harley was able to look through the files of these two to find out more about them. But it seems a couple years prior to him running the factory, "Chatty Kathy," had been forgotten and labeled as "Younger delight," but of course, Harley saw this as another opportunity. So he picked out two young girls by the names of "Abbie Collins" and "Samantha Williams." Once in their bigger bodies, they kept silent for a while, then began to speak to one another. Once let out of their resting periods, They did decently well with the kids in playcare. But the two had quickly grown emotionally attached to 1122 and a teacher in the schoolhouse.

I MEAN THIS IN THE LEAST PROBLEMATIC WAY POSSIBLE BUTTTT

I'm sick and tired of ppls only excuse of why you should not ship ppt characters is "BECAUSE THEY'RE CHILDREN WE SHOULDN'T BE SHIPPING CHILDREN" especially if it's under a post of the cartoon version of them.

LET ME CLEAR SOME THINGS UP!!

People can be young and in love. Though I don't EVER think any poppy playtime bigger body ship would work out except for maybe kissy & doey or mommy long legs & miss delight(not so sure about that last one)

And yeah, you're right, depending on context. I don't think toured children are thinking about love rn( coming from someone who has mostly cartoon ppt ships)

What also makes me upset is how I only find these types of comments under ships involving doey, catnap, or dogday. But when it comes to mommy long legs, miss delight, huggy or kissy, it's just fine

My point is if you're gonna make an excuse, make it different. PLEASE

DOEY MI BEBE

Someone who is a neurodivergent adult and identifies a lot with several of the toy-turned characters: benefit of doubt is you likley didn't intend it this way nor thought how it could be "read into", however, I don't appreciate the insinuation that having visible traits indicative of childhood trauma means a person is inherently less deserving of autonomy.

If you headcanon/read them as perma-kids, that's not my issue. This isn't to be angry or adversarial (heck, you genuinly dont even have any obligation to reply) as much as... this being such a widespread attitude the fandom has and not realising what mindsets it feeds into, being told I'm too broken, too Other to be treated with any respect or to have choices, just makes me really sad. Every time.

Fellow poppy playtime selfshippers I think we should start altering the appearance of the toys we ship ourselves with, so it's somewhat clear that we are doing selfships with the Mascot versions and not the actual toys.

That's all the ideas I have for now. Some of these episodes don't have plots yet, but I really wanna make comics/ drawings of them so it'd be a big help if you could hand me some ideas.

I'm a bit upset about this, though, because the time I was halfway finished, I realized child yarnaby looks too much like @amiderpsva quinn. And I'm upset bc I really like it😭

•Basically, he was treated like a lab experiment his whole childhood

• he dyed his hair to look like the stuffed lion the doctor had given him a long time ago.

Meh, nothing serious, just concept pianosaurus doodles

I actually like his design, so it'll probably be close to close to his final.

Info on pianosaurus, doey, and Yarnaby in this au:

Pianosaurus:

Mr. Pianosaurus here is kind of cocky not in a mean way! just playfully joking no harm done.

Our musical man here loves to mess with Mr.doughman a lot. What we mean by that is like poking him in random places whenever he's doing something important. this punk, will sit down or look at the mirror at random times and say to himself, "I miss my band." And get all sad about it and start playing depressing music! Chill with those bad vibes dude your turning my milk for sour!

whenever he's idle, he'll stand and check/ pick his nails or have his hand on his hip.

• He suffers from a tragic disease called "pathetic loser"💔💔💔💔

• MUSIC, he loves music he's a musical man,it's kinda his thing! He plays a keyboard during his free time.

• he doesn't like kids much. He doesn't hate them. He just finds them gross and sticky.

Doey:

• Well! To be clear, doey's main job isn't Babysitting it's a small thing he does every now and then. His main thing is teaching a pottery class.

• #1 pianosaurus victim. Before the whole "you know what I actually really kinda love you now" thingy he really REALLY, REALLY hated pianosaurus. He still does in a way he just finds him annoying.

• He spaces out often mostly during conversations, so if someone is giving him instructions, there's a 69% chance he isn't listening

• He finds children precious that's what makes him such a great neighbor

• he's optimistic, not dumb but optimistic!(keep this in-mind!)

•" He is an ABSOLUTE DORK, DORK I TELL YOU DORKKKKKK. from the way he dresses to the way he laughs and / or giggles, just a good for nothing DORK!"As pianosaurus would say.☺️

• He usually braids or twists Yarnaby's hair while listening to him ramble about animals and rant about how unfair it is that playtime city's zoo only lets him work 6 hours a day! Can you believe that?

Yarnaby:

A fellow of nature indeed! He has a very special connection with animals. He also thinks their awesome sauce.

• he sometimes wishes he was a lion freely roaming through the forest along with the others, not a care in the world!( crazy canonical foreshadowing)

Fun fact in a small comic/ fanfic I'm doing, we get to see a small part from Yarnaby's past in this au, which is a direct reference to wildernessa's rant from Craig of the creek.

This to be specific:

"Animals, don't pretend to be nice and ask you to sit with them at lunch so you can share hamster care tips just so they can pull your chair from under you and watch you spill food all over yourself and then you get called into the principles office( I am not finishing that sentence)"

• he's not a very good communicator and has a hard time talking people( he just like me frfr)

• the only negative thing about him is that he hinges his extince on his partners or his dad( the doctor). This is based on his carboard cutout)

• do any of you remember how in tangled(the series) mother gothel left her actual child for rapunzel( we'll her hair/ power I guess) it's pretty much like that for Yarnaby and the doctor. I'm not sure what the doctor's motive behind leaving Yarnaby is yet. Most likely leaving to be with Mr. Prototype because of his power.

• listens to pianosaurus rant about how he should have his own tv show( he should NOT, by the way, it'd be a very bad idea!!!)

• Yarnaby also doesn't handle being alone very well

Anyways yeah, Poppy's neighborhood catnap:] I really like his design, so this (MIGHT) is the final, but I still want to add the stripes on his pj's.

I think it was @radicalredrasp who said smth about wishing there was a cartoon au where they all lived in a neighborhood or something which is funny because that's kind of the excat( pun intended)point of my au lol.

We got a skinny purple dude, a skinny pink crackhead, and a grown man baby crying for his mama. THIS PARTY FINNA BE LIT❗️❗️❗️🔥🔥🗣🗣💯💯

Nothing serious, just some small doodles on an au I've been cooking up for a while.

Human bigger bodies au

Doey:

• After he gets out of his treatment area after six months, he wears his mom's pearl necklace bc he misses her

• Since his hair is made out of dough, he can just shape it into whatever he likes. But he mostly shapes it into a style that resembles how he last remembered his mom's hair.

• his skin is made out of dough as well! But you can't tell unless you poke him

•(USUALLY) doesn't give the scientists any problems( mostly Matthew)

• He gets often lonely in his cell. He's tried talking to other experiments in the ones next to him, but their always either sleep or feral

• sings silly short songs when he's bored( mostly playtime co commercial jingles)

Mommy long legs:

• not very aware at first, but once she realized the body she was in, she began to give the scientists problems

• unhinged

• a couple of things went wrong during her lobotomy

• very motherly to the other experiments(and the staff if they listen)

• flaps and plays with her noodle- like hair when she's bored and also hums melodies

Catnap:

• stays silent most of the time

• doesn't eat very often because he just isn't hungry

•it is also hard for him to eat/ digest due to the way his body has been reconstructed.

• draws on the walls using his fingers/ claws

• sits and waits until the prototype communicates with him again

• despises needles

• picks decent sized chuncks of his skin and hair off when he's bored

• #1 religion forcer/hj

Question! Is the prototype an ACTUAL prototype?

We all know that a "prototype" is the test, first, or unfinished version of a product, so could this mean something worse than the prototype is out there? Or does it mean that he's the first successful bigger body/ experiment?

He's also known as "The original," the original of what?

Anyways I listened to the voices. Here's my cringe poppy playtime self insert lol.

Her name is Handy Helper, or her helper handy is not sure yet.

•She's part of the safe haven gang.

• participated in the hour of joy like every other toy

She was originally just supposed to help around the factory fixing and cleaning things like pipes, leaks, cracks in the walls, and painting.

•She became the Mascot of the art program in playcare due to Stella noticing her art and how she would draw on everything.

•As I stated before, she wasn't originally going to be a character but playtime figured kids would ask questions on who she was.

•Basically, a re-skinned miss delight body but with a spider lower half

• Was NOT an orphan of the factory she actually had family. It's kinda like Jack's situation. When I went on, a tour got killed.

• when first tested with the orphans in playcare, it was half and half. Some of them were scared or cried.

• Scientist noted that she does not do well around loud sounds

Yapping about Theodore and other things in my grambell family au:

•He's not very verbal, so people don't always understand him, not even his own kids. Most of the time, whenever he speaks, it just sounds like mumbling.

•He is a girl dad with one son

•Marie is more like a sister to him than anything

•During the short 5-10 minute break, he'll always rant to Marie about how James hates him, and he doesn't know what he's doing wrong. Or he'll accidently rant to one of the kids in playcare about it and be like, "Why am I telling you this?" He gets carried away sometimes.

•is sentimental, so he keeps lots of old playtime toys or items in his closet.

•He thinks about it sometimes but has very little to no romantic interests at all.

•A close friend of Matthew

•Overthinker

•He reads whenever he is stressed.

•Also, as I mentioned earlier, he isn't very verbal, so he prefers to hum lullabys to his children.

As catnap:

As mentioned in one of my other posts, when he was first added to playcare, he fell into a deep depressive state, and the reason for that was because he was told that his children had died. which was a lie the staff told him so he wouldn't worry or focus on them and tend to playcare.

At some point in his cell, the prototype communicated with him asking if he remembers him and telling him he could help him. With no one else to look up to, he decided to worship the prototype he did save him once after all.

[During the time the kids arrive at the factory (five years later):

He didn't recognize them at first, so he did as the prototype commanded. Just to clarify, the prototype didn't want to kill the kids but get them out of the way, unlike Harley.

So, finding out that those children were indeed HIS children, he tried to scare them out of the factory.

After watching one of the tapes, they find out that the giant thing is their dad, so they go looking for him, and that's when they get the whole "leave playcare" warning.

[ After catnaps failed death/ injury]

The kids stay by his side as much as possible and gather healing things for him around the factory, but that ends up being really hard to do, considering the children have some injuries themselves.

•Once they get to safe, haven doey keeps a very good eye on catnap( he doesn't trust him one bit)

• Catnap refuses to let the kids out of safe haven for very valid reasons( I guess... I'll cut him some slack, though he just got his children back)

• all of the toys in safe haven do NOT really trust him at all

• whenever the kids ask to leave safe haven catnap always responds with a head nod or "no"

• a bit overprotective it doesn't help that he's to wear to protect them most of the time
