EN|| Hi! Perhaps this little frog looks familiar to you, I made a very similar one in a square format more than a year ago (Wow! Time flies, it almost seems like it was yesterday when I had to put on the headlamp to paint it, because the electricity had gone out). This one, unlike the one from a year ago, is in a vertical format, has more little characters and, together with the snail, the fish and a toucan (which I haven't shown you yet), they’ll be on @gallerynucleus collective exhibition "Power in number 7 ”, opening on September 3rd in Alhambra CA. The entire postcard, like the others, is 5”x7” and is made with watercolors, gouache, polychromos, neocolors and watercolor pencils Remember the exhibition will debut in person only and is “cash and carry”, meaning once someone buys a piece, the buyer takes it home instead of remaining on display. Quizás os suene un poco esta ranita, hice una muy parecida en formato cuadrado hará más de un año (Uau! El tiempo pasa volando, casi parece que fuera ayer cuando me tuve que poner el frontal, porque se había ido la luz, para poderla pintar). Esta, a diferencia de la de hace un año, es en formato vertical, tiene más personajillos y, junto al caracol, los peces y a un tucán, estarán en la exposición colectiva de “Power in number 7” de @gallerynucleus que se inaugura el 3 de septiembre en Alhambra CA. La postal entera, como las demás, hace 5”x 7” y esta hecha con acuarelas, gouache, polychromos y neocolors. Recordad que la exposición debutará solo en persona y es “cash and carry”. Sabéis de donde salen estas preciosas ocas? Son un detalle de una de las ilustraciones del calendario Montessori de este año! Os atrevéis a adivinar a qué mes pertenecen? Una pista: no es el mes en el que estamos ahora. Ya sabéis lo que me encanta dibujar animalitos y sobretodo si son tan simpáticos como estas ocas! Cuando pienso en ocas siempre me acuerdo de cuando era pequeñita, en el parque de al lado de mi escuela había unas cuantas de ellas, aunque aquellas no eran muy simpáticas, si te acercabas mucho, te perseguían gritando con la cabeza en alto!🌱 Do you know where these beautiful geese come from? You already know how much I love to draw little animals and especially if they’re as cute as these geese! When I think about geese I always remember when I was little, there were some of them in the park next to my school, although those weren’t very nice, if you got too close, they would chase you screaming with their heads held high!🌱

ENG || This pandemic has brought us many sad things but, perhaps, among the worst is the situation of the residents of nursing homes and their families. This issue is close to my heart since I have a grandfather with advanced Alzheimer's disease who can hardly communicate with us anymore and the fact of not being able to touch him and be close to him has been very hard and truly sad.My grandfather's residence is in another city, different from mine, and a few months ago, when we could still go to see him (even if it was several meters away, with a methacrylate between us and with masks that covered half our faces) beautiful storks welcomed us resting on the street lamps near the road. I've never seen so many storks together as on one day I thought we wouldn't see any because it was a very cold day with a heavy rain!It may seem silly but seeing them was a joyous note on a tough and dark afternoon, so I thought I'd pay them a tribute!
ESP || Esta pandemia nos ha traído muchas cosas tristes pero, quizás, dentro de las peores está la situación de los residentes de las residencias de ancianos y sus familias. A mi este tema me toca de cerca, ya que tengo un abuelo con alzhéimer avanzado que ya casi no puede comunicarse con nosotros y el hecho de no poder tocarlo y estar cerca de él ha sido muy duro y verdaderamente triste.La residencia de mi abuelo está en otra ciudad diferente de la mía y, hace unos meses, cuando aun podíamos ir a verlo, aunque fuera a varios metros de distancia, con un metacrilato entre nosotros y con mascarillas que nos tapaban media cara, unas preciosas cigüeñas nos daban la bienvenida descansando en las farolas de la carretera. Nunca había visto tantas cigüeñas juntas como en un día frío que llovía a cantaros y pensaba que no veríamos ninguna!!Parecerá una tontería pero verlas a ellas era una nota alegre en una tarde dura, así que pensé en hacerles un homenaje!

ESP || Una ilustración sobre los fuegos de Australia y la precaria situación de una especie, los Koalas, al borde de la extinción.
ESP || Hace meses os enseñe un detalle de esta hermosa ilustración que me encargaron, ahora la podéis ver entera. Esta ilustración estaba destinada a promover un concierto benéfico a favor de un orfanato en Camerún, por este motivo todas la flores y animales que aparecen en la ilustración viven en Camerún, un país con una biodiversidad tan rica y diversa (debido a sus diferentes zonas climáticas y geográficas) es conocida como “África en miniatura”. Para ajustarme a la realidad del entorno del orfanato intenté que la mayoría de ellos habitaran o fueran endémicos concretamente de Nkongsamba. Por otra parte también intenté incorporar especies en diferentes estados de peligro de extinción para dar visibilidad a todas aquellas plantas, flores y animales que desgraciadamente están desapareciendo mayoritariamente a mano de los humanos. Este es el caso de la ranita granate “Cardioglossa manengouba” que esta clasificada como critica en la lista de animales en peligro de extinción.🌻🐸 ENG || Some months ago I showed you a close up of this beautiful illustration that was commissioned from me, now you can see it in its entirety. This illustration was intended to promote a charity concert in favor of an orphanage in Cameroon, for this reason all the flowers and animals that appear in the illustration live in Cameroon, a country with such rich and diverse biodiversity (due to its different climatic and geographical zones) is known as "Africa in miniature". To adjust to the reality of the environment of the orphanage, most the species live or are endemic specifically to the Nkongsamba region. On the other hand, I also tried to incorporate threatened species to give visibility to all the plants, flowers and animals that unfortunately are disappearing mostly at the hands of humans. This is the case of the garnet frog "Cardioglossa manengouba" which is classified as critically endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.🌻🐸
CAT || Fa uns mesos us vaig ensenyar un detall d'aquesta bonica il·lustració que em van encarregar, ara la podeu veure sencera. Aquesta il·lustració estava destinada a promoure un concert benèfic a favor d'un orfenat al Camerun, per aquest motiu totes les flors i animals que apareixen a la il·lustració viuen al Camerun, un país amb una biodiversitat tan rica i diversa que és coneguda com "Àfrica en miniatura". Per ajustar-me a la realitat de l'entorn de l'orfenat vaig intentar que la majoria de les especies habitessin o fossin endèmiques concretament de Nkongsamba. D'altra banda també vaig intentar incorporar espècies en diferents estats de perill d'extinció per donar visibilitat a totes aquelles plantes, flors i animals que, malauradament, estan desapareixent majoritàriament per culpa dels humans. Aquest és el cas de la granota granat "Cardioglossa Manengouba" que esta classificada com a critica en la llista d'animals en perill d'extinció.🌻🐸
ESP || Mi sueño desde siempre es tener un gato... Y muchas plantas! Esta ilustración es especial ya que hacía muchísimo tiempo que no hacía una ilustración toda en técnicas tradicionales! Hoy he desempolvado el gouache, las acuarelas y los lápices de colores y he celebrado el día del gato con una ilustración rápida hecha en menos de una hora... Espero que os guste!!😺
ENG|| My dream has always been to have a cat ... And many plants! This illustration is special since it has been a long time since I did an illustration all in traditional techniques! Today I dusted off the gouache, watercolors and colored pencils and celebrated the international day of the cat with a quick illustration done in less than an hour... I hope you like it !!😺

CAT|| Il·lustració per encàrrec per a un cartell d'un concert solidari a favor d'un orfenat de Camerun.
La il·lustració pretén mostrar la bellesa i riquesa natural de país amb espècies endèmiques o que es poden trobar al Camerun sobretot a prop de la zona de Nkongsamba.
Com a protagonistes apareixen tres petites granotes, dues de les quals es troben en perill d'extinció.
ESP|| Ilustración por encargo para un cartel de un concierto solidario a favor de un orfanato de Camerún.
La ilustración pretende mostrar la belleza y riqueza natural del país con especies endémicas o que se pueden encontrar en Camerún sobretodo cerca de la zona de Nkongsamba.
Como protagonistas aparecen tres pequeñas ranas, dos de las cuales se encuentran en peligro de extinción.
